Great place for a stop over in Queenstown. Easy walk to town...but on a hill if you don’t walk too well. Great breakfast buffet included. Chromecast t.v. Small but well fitted room.

Very comfortable stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The meals ordered from the bar were good value and tasty. The bar area was comfortable and informal dining which we enjoyed. The hotel is a good position for walking into Queenstown, although there is quite a steep hill back!

I would recommend staying elsewhere for the price they charge there are more better value for money.
The rooms were small and the pillows and towels were still dirty.
I didnt like the vibe of the hotel and it seemed quite seedy.

Everything is good. The only negetive is the single bathroom/shower door that iis not ideal to stop shower splahes an toilet smell into the room. Odd choice by architects.

Great breakfast spread included. Loaded up and was good till dinner time. Gym was good for me but very limited. Walkable, but on a hill. Easy down but need to be fit for walking back up. Short but fairly steep incline. Everything was clean, modern. Lockers for skis , snowboards and boots ( with boot dryers).
Single room was fine for one. Could feel a bit tight with two. Odd frosted glass shower and toilet right next to bed could make some couples uncomfortable. I was solo and very comfortable in the room.

We were disappointed with our room. For some reason we were given a room for disabled persons. The bathroom had a shower curtain around the shower area, (no shower screen) and a tiny single basin, (no vanity) with absolutely nowhere to put toothbrushes, toiletries, hair dryer etc. we took the ironing board into the bathroom, covered with a towel, so that we had somewhere to place our necessary bathroom items. There was also no way we were able to adjust the room temperature, and it was far too warm overnight. We struggled to get a decent nights’ sleep in our overheated room for five nights. Would not stay there again. 😩

Its a nice airy and warm hotel. We chose this hotel for the proximity to the ski station busses. Similar standard hotel in town are more expensive and the rate includes breakfast and it had car park facilities (paid).

Location was good, easy access to central Queenstown. Close to airport.
I think they should have courtesy transportation for seniors or families to central Queenstown to avoid the steep hill one must climb to get to the hotel. Also, was surprised the breakfast buffet did not offer cheese.

The Holiday Inn Express is located a short walkable distance to numerous Queenstown dinning and shopping options. Durring our stay we were snow skiing and the resort transfer buses conveniently picked up and dropped off at the hotel as well. The property is very modern, well maintained and appointed. The staff are well trained, professional and helpfull. The buffet breakfast included in the room rate was great value for money, plentifully and covered a wide range of tastes. All in all our 7 night stay was most enjoyable and we have no hesitation in recomending this property. Thank you Holiday Inn Express.

Property was clean and service was impeccable. The location is great as well as it is only a short 5mins walk to the city centre.
Only downside is that parking on premise can be quite expensive.

Our stay had its ups and downs. We were given a room that was not cleaned. As a token of good will they gave us drink coupons. Breakfast was fabulous. Location is close to the CBD but the property sits on a hill...great view but not ideal for slick sidewalks. Checking out was not smooth. IHG discounts not automatically applied. Room was modern but small.

The location was great—a 10-15-minute walk to the city center. The staff was friendly. I loved to give a 5-star but the housekeeping was not great. They only changed the towels, floor mat, and bedsheets. Teabags were not replaced, cups were not cleaned, and the food packaging left was not removed.

Emma and Richard were outstanding in their guest relations and friendliness. From the moment we checked in, we felt well taken care of and welcome. Our room was comfortable with a great view of the mountains (as requested when booking). The location was fantastic and easily walkable into the heart of Queenstown. Every time we returned to the hotel, the staff welcomed us back and asked if we’d had a great day. Having the complementary breakfast is fantastic! Only recommendation would be to add bananas to the fruit selection and pancakes/waffles for variety. Highly recommend staying in this property!!
