great location for a walk down to Hollywood & Sunset boulevard, nice and quite. lovely comfy beds and the staff were wonderful and super helpful

Exceptionally friendly and service-oriented staff, beautiful boutique hotel with an Old Hollywood glam vibe. Delicious quiche and mimosas served on the weekends, charming courtyard and lobby area.

This property takes you back. It’s like living in “once upon a time in Hollywood “. Staff was amazing and facility was beautiful and charming.

Such a beautiful and fun hotel to stay. Super clean, slept so well in the comfy bed. Staff super friendly and helpful and walked to the hollywood bowl for our show.

This hotel made me feel like i was in Europe. Everyone was super nice and personable. The inside hotel is like a sanctuary. Extraordinary service!

The hotel took you back to vintage Hollywood. The staff made all of the guests feel like they were celebrities. Very personalized customer interactions. An amazing place.

Amazing fun design, theme and decor. Lovely magical secret garden oasis just blocks from Hollywood Blvd. Wonderful staff and amenities. Would love to stay longer but will definitely come back.

Kim was so welcoming the second we walked in and I cannot thank her enough for her kindness and hospitality. Kiki the manager was also very kind and helpful. Mara was also super friendly and kind. I loved the staff that I got to know personally and would love to return. The property is classic Hollywood style and it has its charm. It’s the people that make it worth it. This was a quiet romantic boutique hotel reminiscent of the 30's and 40's. Easily walkable to restaurants and nightclubs. The only bad thing was sticker shock on the parking fee. It advertised at $45 a night so was expecting $90 fee. It ended up being $167 with outrageous tourist and taxes, etc.

Such a friendly and helpful staff. Place was great, bed very comfortable, a beautiful setting and conveniently located close to the Hollywood Bowl. We will stay here every time we go to the Hollywood Bowl!!

I loved that it was walking distance to everything. Right down the street is all the tourist attractions.

Exquisitely retro from the 1930’s! Large rooms, renovated, beautifully appointed and wonderful pillows and bedding!

The staff was AMAZING!!! They spoiled us and were beyond kind and welcoming. The room was BEAUTIFUL! They had music playing when we entered the room and a bar set up with so many drink options to choose from. It was like they thought of everything one could want when staying in a hotel and we loved it. We spent each evening out on the patio by the fire and read and chatted. It was exactly the vacation we needed. We hope nothing changes because the PROSPECT is PERFECT exactly end way it is now! We can’t wait to go back again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The E. Taylor room was wonderful and the bed so comfy. The location was close to the walk of fame and we felt safe!

Cute property, was a little disappointed in room as it didn't look like the pictures of the room I booked; actually looked like room level below the one I booked. Of course first thing was trying to take a shower but it was really clogged and I had to get out before it could overflow. As we were getting dressed we couldn't use plugs by couch because it would make the lamp lights flicker really bad and it was disturbing. Employee came by to check out the shower but was told they couldn't fix and Id get contacted by mgmt. When checking out they tried to charge me for valet which I didnt use. Manager wasnt there in AM during checkout so I had to call that night to figure out my bill but was told the room smelled like smoke and they are investigating. We definitely did not smoke in the room, was only there one night and left early. Felt like they tried to blame me when they knew I wasnt having a great stay.

In town for a premiere, I was in a hurry, and even though I am only staying for one night the team at The Prospect really made everything so easy. Parking on site! Clean, comfortable and accommodating - An amazing minibar, toiletries and espresso machine in room - making it hard to leave the next day!

honestly the best spot in LA

This hotel is incredible! Stunningly breathtaking, an incredible location 6 min from universal studios , upscale but still family friendly for a well traveled child. There is a sense of peace at this hotel. We got in late from a (very long day) vip tour of universal and although it took a while to get checked in because there was one person doing valet , check ins and front desk requests .. we u seafood due to the time at night (10pm on a Sunday).. one thing I would say is if there is one person on staff doing it all to focus on one customer at a time because we had to wait for people who came up to the desk while we were in the process of checking in and that added to be a very long check in (like 30 min) when we were absolutely exhausted from an 11 hr day at the park in extreme heat. Other than that the breakfast was delicious , the morning girl at the desk was so delightful and our little son loved her. Our room the Hepburn which is a standard was so gorgeous and comfortable. Also have to note the check out at 12 pm was a pleasant surprise so we could enjoy a proper relaxing breakfast out on the patio. Def will be back here for our La stays!

Happy to stay in this hotel. The rooms are beautifully decorated, staff is excellent. It is a small boutique hotel, may be only 25 rooms. It would be wonderful if it has a pool but we enjoy its tranquil garden.

This hotel is wonderfully located and the property itself is just exquisitely landscaped and well taken care of. Spacious room and bathroom - our suite was the “Marilyn Monroe”; every room is named after a classic celebrity which adds a fun accent to the mix when staying in Hollywood. The morning breakfast buffet featured some very high quality croissants, fruit, coffee, and juice. All the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating.

Absolutely loved this hotel, in fact I was disappointed that we didn’t stay longer here during our Californian road trip. The staff were wonderful, they really couldn’t do enough to help and made us feel welcome. The welcome drink of cava when we arrived was a lovely touch. Kiki also was so accommodating when we arrived earlier than check in and was able to show us to our room - we had only expected to drop our bags off so this was really amazing and meant we could freshen up before we went out for the rest of the day. The room we stayed in was so impressive, the bed super comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and the mini bar set up stylish. The outside patio area was really relaxing and tranquil, it really didn’t feel like we were close to the hustle and bustle of Hollywood, however being so close meant we always had great spots to dine and explore when we ventured out. Next time I visit LA, I will without a doubt stay here. Do it, You won’t be disappointed!

The staff is incredibly nice and helpful, they really go out of their way to make you feel as comfortable as possible during your stay. Even though hollywood blvd is only a block away, this hotel is tucked away for a relaxing and quiet stay. My room did not have great wifi but they said that they were working on updating it. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and stay here again in the future.

We feel we've found a gem that we'll return to again and again. We liked everything about it, but the stand outs were the staff and the courtyard.

My new favorite!!!
