The bed quilts were not fit for purpose. The filling was in lumps like tennis balls so not all the quillt had filling simply cotton covering..

Property was lovely. Basic room but it was comfortable. Room was very warm though, even though it wasn’t a particularly hot day. Would absolutely stay again though.

We stayed in the Town House building & the room was big & spacious. The only fault was that once you entered through the buildings front door there was a strong smell of dampness, you could smell it up the stairs to the second floor. The smell didn’t come in the room, it was just an unpleasant smell we could of done without.

We enjoyed our stay at bike and boot but unfortunately there was a very unpleasent smell from the toilet area/drains .

Good location, nice staff, nice spacious cool room for the summer with all requirements including well stocked mini bar.

The sun was out so the parking option was not an option, I parked in the Ncp and walked down. The food was nice in the restaurant, but my room on the first floor 111, was very near to the kitchen extract, which was noisier when I laid my head down in the bed. The floor vibrated too as well as the noise from it outside the window.It eventually got switched off at around 10.40/11pm.But, my window had no way of being closed, as I found out (whilst balancing on a chair to try and close it) so I was kept up all night by the local seagulls. It would have been nice to have had the choice to dampen the noise. Then the fire alarm went off at 5am-ish for 3mins and then off again. Not a great stay at all, I left at 6.30am as soon as the NCP opened.

Lovely place. Only niggle for me was tv didn’t work and reported twice but not sorted. Easy check in and out. Was allowed to come get parked up and given permit in advance till we could check in. Would come back again

Great hotel, received a friendly welcome on arrival. Location and staff were excellent. Loved the decor and ambience. Really relaxed hotel with gorgeous coffee, water and fresh milk in the room. Helpful guide in the room too about the hotel and local area. Loved the downstairs chilled area with free hot drinks and fresh water. A refreshing change and would definitely visit again.

Lovely big comfy bed. Plenty of space in the room. Bathroom could do with a bit of a deep clean especially in corners and a little worn in places but shower was good. We were in Scarborough to see a concert at the open air theatre and felt The Bike and Boot was well placed even though it’s situated in the south bay. Nice 25 minute walk through the town to the venue with plenty of places to eat and drink on the way. Would happily stay again.

I made a reservation for a attic mini suit. It looked beautiful but when we arrived it was on the forth floor, no elevator, in the forth floor we has to continue through a corridor and open a door to continue the corridor, at the end there was our “suit”. What a disappointment, to start with even the low temperatures of the day the room was a living hell, very very hot, we could only open 2 inches of a window. We preferred to loose our money rather to stay there. It is a total disguise, Expedia should not allow this, above all lunch there was terrible.

Room was cramped and very hot, with a window that wouldnt stay open. very small bed and lumpy pillows so we didnt sleep very well, it was also very noisy with the bin lorry stopping right outside the window early in the morning. Didnt try the restaurant or bar.

Some windows didnt open, lack of coffee, traffic noise, no full english.

Good size rooms nicely decorated big comfy bed nice and clean with a good toilet shower room not too keen on low sink

Our towels were replaced after one day. PLease could you use the THROW IN THE SHOWER/ BATH IF YOU NEED A REPLACEMENT policy to save such a lot of washing

Had a wonderful stay at the bike and boot with our doggie. Room was a lovely size with a sofa, dressing table, mini fridge and coffee machine. A lovely little touch was a mat for willow and a toy. Only thing we can say negative is the bathroom blind was seethrough. So we put a towel up. Really enjoyed our stay.
