From the minute we arrived - early- the host was engaging, informative and welcoming. Our beautiful and well-appointed room was ready and we were able to check-in before 3pm. The location is perfect for a day at the races. The pub has delicious food.

All very good indeed. Pleasant, stylish, comfortable room, spotlessly clean. Peaceful location. The bar was friendly, food excellent (as a vegetarian, the choice on the menu was limited, but what I did have was great). Breakfast was very good too. I only stayed one night and didn't have time to explore the surrounding area, but the Three Blackbirds is set in a quiet hamlet.

A great place to stay and relax with a lovely pub restaurant offering great food and beer. Even the noisy bee nesting in the roof did not affect the stay and as usual the food was excellent.

We loved our two night stay here. The team there are welcoming and helpful. The food is well presented and tasty. The rooms are comfortable, clean and are set away from the main building, which makes them quiet from any restaurant hubbub. My only request would be to un-creak creaky floor boards as the sound travels to the bedroom below.

Universal room, helpful staff. Breakfast service good however no fresh fruit available. Housekeeping forgot to service our room. At over £200pppn that’s not acceptable. However overall we would recommend

We had an enjoyable stay at the Three Blackbirds. The bed was comfortable, large fluffy towels, reasonable lighting, great parking and beautiful breakfasts. The one chair could have been more comfortable and there were a couple of mix ups which were quickly fixed. Overall it is a lovely place to stay.

Great room in beautiful location food in pub is excellent and service to match, rooms are great a little noisy in f on ground floor and people above are heavy footed and use the loo a lot but will certainly be back time and time again

Lovely hotel and great service from everyone on site check in was seamless and service also great. Stayed in the juniper suite and was really nice and spacious and very comfortable bed. Restaurant selection felt a bit limited but food was good as was the service In the restaurant. Would stay again as it was my first time in Newmarket. Make sure you bring any additional items with you as shops locally are limited and if you want to just have a stay in you room then bring food. Bar was very busy with locals but that was to be expecte

Amazing. Thatched pub which is so relaxing & cosy. Rooms are out the back and decorated perfectly. It’s really quiet yet the pub has a lovely vibe with great staff & food was delicious

Beautiful rooms, attached to an excellent old English Pub with a fantastic kitchen. Breakfast was £15 and well worth having. There is a two-pole car charger if you need it. Rooms are well laid out and set up, with everything in the right place, including phone chargers and light switches next to the bed. I love this place.

Very pleasant stay. A very high standard barn conversion. The bed was comfortable, nice furniture and the best shower! Highly recommended. The beer at the main bar was also spot on.

The accommodation was fantastic, very clean, spacious and well decorated! The staff are both friendly and attentive, would definitely recommend staying at this property.

A lovely couple of days. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The room was good but would have preferred a more traditional chair and some drawers. Bathroom was excellent with lovely fluffy towels. The food was great we enjoyed two excellent evening meals.

Due to me arriving late at night and leaving early, I didn’t get chance to eat which was a shame. The accommodation was amazing, and fantastic staff. I’ll do my best to try to stay again and take advantage of the food.
