Its a convenient nice place to stay

Very helpful staff.

The hotel and rooms are very nice. The service really good. The restaurant is a hot mess. At least when we came for breakfast. It took an hour to get the food and the coffee was Luke warm. Another table left after an hour wait I sent my scrambled eggs back - they were straight off the buffet.

Good spot for the night

I was very satisfied with my stay here at Carnmore. It's close to riverside market, victoria square, BNZ center, botanical garden, and especially the bus interchange. I was greeted by Mercy upon check in, had a nice conversation and she was very helpful during my stay in Carnmore! She gave me a map and recommended me places to visit and how to get there which I greatly appreciate because this is my fiest time in Christchurch, New Zealand. Also, big thanks to my housekeeper, there's daily room cleaning which I really appreciate! I feel very welcomed whenever I come back to a tidy room after a long and exhausting day. I haven't gotten the chance to eat at Hoi Polloi (the hotel's restaurant), other than ordering a chocolate mousse. The presentation is beautiful and the cake was great!

I was a solo ski traveler and had a relaxing and comfortable stay. It was just a good jogging distance to Hagley Park, I enjoyed.

Spacious room and quiet location, walkable to shopping centre also. Need pre book car park else may need to pay 30 a day for carpark across the street

Our rooms were perfect for our needs and had a great shower!

The front desk trainee staff when we were checking in was very slow and have a very bad memory. Gave us a wrong parking spot, and said “apparently I haven’t checked you in” when she literally checked us in less than 10 mins ago. And I was holding the room key card. I understand is trainee, but can do better.

Nice room and very clean . Staff were pleasant . Only one drawback lack of parking but would have been charged $25. I left the car on the road .
