Our room was next to room service closet or entrance and they were in and out of it very early slamming the door over and over. In the morning Water was shut off without notice due to a leak and they had no known time to be fixed so we had no water at all when we got up to get ready to leave.

Room smelled like wet dirty mop, it also had a lot of crickets. Hotel was dirty overall. Breakfast was also not good.

I suggest requesting the top floors and avoid the first floor because the amount grasshoppers is unbelievable. Im telling ya we had to kill about 6 or 7 within the first 20 minutes of initial entry. After that we just placed a towel under the door to keep them out. The humidity in the room was juat as bad we were inky there for a shower and a ouple hours of sleep so we powered theu the inconvenience of it all.

The room was super nice and comfortable. It was quiet on the property and breakfast was amazing. They have a coffee machine 24 hours a day with the best lattes. Will definitely be returning.

The room we stayed in was run down and not as nice as we stayed in before. Other times we have stayed the rooms were great and that’s why we stayed there again. Also the girl at the front was not friendly :(

Hotel was clean, easy to get in and out of. The only complaint was the noise from the room above mine. There is no sound deadening at all between floors. I thought the room above me must have a herd of horses staying there. It was 11:30 pm before it finally got quite.

The plumbing had issues, as the shower valve on the shower knob was clogged and had to be tended to by the maintenance man. Also, the commodes flushed, but wouldn’t refill the water box without some manual help.

The Hotel was actually great. The staff was great. The room had a running toilet and driping shower the whole time.

The staff was friendly (both when I checked in and checked out the next day). The room with a king-sized bed was very large; sitting area, small sink w/mini-fridge, Keurig coffee maker and large countertop to hold items. My only negative review was the coffee was in one of those all-in-one machines that does everything from hot water, cappuccinos, & coffee and it just wasn't very good coffee. But for those people who like a cup of coffee any time of day, they might think it's just fine. We didn't eat the breakfast so I can't comment on that. I think if you need a place to stay in Brownwood, this is a good location (close to HPU) and a solid hotel option.

We came to Brownwood for a Veteran’s Appreciation Day and Reunión with our former Company and Battalion, and chose this hotel. We loved it! It was super easy to get to, it is very clean, and my favorite part (and this is just me) was that they have a granite stone with the 10 Commandments right at the front door. Our room was very spacious, lots of counter space, and a separate “kitchenette” type area (sink, counter top, keurig with cups and coffee, ice bucket, mini fridge, and cabinet hiding the microwave). We would definitely stay here again in the future! Thanks Best Western Plus for an excellent stay!

This property was clean and staff were nice. As soon as I walked into the lobby, it smelled fresh and clean and was warmly greeted by the GM. The breakfast was good and was well stocked by the attendant. Beds are firm but comfortable. Only complaint was that the shower curtain wouldn’t completely close or stay shut so water would leak all over the bathroom.

The staff was excellent, very professional and accommodating. My only complaint, both my husband and I feel a hotel/motel should have a REAL pot of COFFEE. Not a hot chocolate machine that doubles as coffee maker. Other than that everything was great.

The manager on duty was amazing and very helpful, when helping with my reservations being cancelled, without my knowledge. However, the room had not been properly cleaned. There was sticky red substance on the desk, hair in the tub, and the floor was dirty.

Compared to other hotels we've stayed in Brownwood, this is a gem. Others ok or even nice but this was best value & great staff. Room was made up every day which is first place since pandemic that did. We will stay here again.
