Lovely clean property well located and would stay again, however property with benefit from double glazing as you could Traffic through the night.

When we arrived someone was already staying in our room, this was sorted promptly we moved to another room. The room was great clean & tidy. The only thing I didn’t like discovered by the fact someone was staying in our 1st room is all the rooms appear to have the same access code

One night stay for a show at the corn exchange , this is great value lovely room , tea and coffee and a lovely shower ,

The room was fine with modern bathroom and good facilities. 10 minute walk to the centre of town. Free parking behind the house

Nice, clean property. Huge common kitchen and nice common courtyard. My rooms was on the top floor--so good leg muscles needed to climb all the stairs! The room was just as pictured, very nice and comfortable with two closets and nice shower room. The basics were also provided in the room--coffee/tea, kettle, dishes and flatware. I'd recommend it highly.

Really lovely stay - owner was very helpful on the run up to arrival, providing detailed information about check in and parking. Room was very comfortable and the fridge was a bonus. Easy walking distance to the town centre.

We stayed at Bricksage Rooms for two nights, as a part of a longer trip. The first impression was excellent, lovely kitchen, bathroom and a clean toilet, a very spacious room with tea/coffee making facilities and even a small fridge. But then we checked our beds, and what a shame! The bed linen looked disgusting, like the beds were never changed after the previous guests. The bed linen didn't look fresh, and was covered in stains here and there (blood?), there was also a black hair on a sheet. I sent photos to Helen and asked if someone could change the beds, but I was told that it can be done the next day, I agreed at first, but shortly after the thought of sleeping in unchaged bed took better of us, so I asked her again, and was told that there's no cleaner available until tomorrow, and I was advised to look for an alternative accomodation, and I'll be refunded if I find one. It was already 8pm, so chances to find another affordable accommodation was next to none, apart from that we wanted to relax after a long day, and enjoy our already booked holiday instead of spending time searching for a new place to spend the night in. Luckily I had two blankets in my car so we joined our twin beds, and used them instead of the provided quilts and bed linen. I'm not a fussy person, and I always travel on a budget, but I have to admit, as an active traveller around the world, I have never seen that unpleasant bed linens like that, even in hostels. Great for a quick stay in the town. Walking distance to the town centre. On a busy main road but our room had ear plugs supplied. Decorated nice and everything clean and modern. Use of a full kitchen which is handy. There is a corner shop next door where you can buy all the essentials. The only negative was a massive crack in the sink in the ensuite.

Bin wasn’t emptied full of last guest rubbish coffee was hard in jar but room was lovely and bright newish look very steep small steps to bathroom

Loved it , lovely room , really nice bed a real good find , il be back . I’ll be honest , I wasn’t sure due to the price being on the cheap side theses days but this was a bargain .

Electronic key codes for front door and room door sent the day before large en-suite room great shower loads of tea making facilities and out massive fully equipped kitchen with all equipment including washing machine 3 ovens microwave hob for use .large period property on a busy Main Road but quality double glazed sash windows block it all out. Warm in the summer months the fan provided and mini fridge as well in your room in the winter electric blankets convenience store right next door. Few minutes walk to Quayside and the Old Town for bars and restaurants

Lovely room in ok location near the town. Easy to walk in to find restaurants etc. The room was v tidy and modern. Lovely size. They thought of everything you might need even a fan and small fridge. Automated entry and exit were v easy and safe. Kitchen available for use was lovely altho didn’t use it. Only slight downside was the bathroom. It was down 3 v steep steps with low head room. Tad awkward for partner who’s v tall. Would have been nice to have known in advance. If you don’t like that avoid room 4. Otherwise no problems and would definitely recommend.

Clean room but very small for two. Excellent for a one night quick stay or an inexpensive place to land if you’re on a budget.

Address was hard to locate as street numbers and road signs hard to see on the busy street. GPS might have made it easier. Host very helpful. Unit was perfect for me and very nice overall.

The room was good, the access was easy. Everything was good until the middle of the night. The other people in the building were incredibly loud from 2-4 in the morning. We slept very poorly. Would not stay again because from the loud conversation they were having up and down the stairs, these men seemed like they lived there.

The room was large, every thing was nice and clean, well stocked tea and coffee. A comfortable stay. Would have liked the duvet cover to be ironed that’s my only criticism.

The room was small but clean, water pressure good in the shower, walls and ceilings like paper - could hear every door shut and lock (Americanised robot voice says door is locked, more loudly than necessary), every footstep, every toilet flush and shower being run with all the sploshing of water. Car park nearby was free and easy to get to. Good location for a nice 10 minute walk to the Minster and dock area where there were some nice cafes.

Comfortable but a chair in addition to the stool would have been helpful. Shower space was a little tight.
