We had a late evening airport arrival and were very pleased with our overnight stay. Edward picked us up at the airport and it’s a short drive to their location. Property is squeaky clean and spotless. We had a delicious breakfast delivered to our room in the morning. Following that Edward drove us to our car rental office around the corner. All very easy and super convenient. Edward is a really nice friendly fellow and we would recommend his property to anyone that needs a convenient overnight close to SKO.

There is nothing we didn’t like about the property. Just be aware that the room has everything you need but it is not a luxurious hotel. Bedroom is small with a double bed.

Der Inhaber hat uns abgeholt zu unserem Termin nach San José gefahren, unsere Gepäck schon mitgenommen und war äußerst freundlich. Er hat uns über alles informiert und die Unterkunft ist so liebevoll eingerichtet mitten in Alajuela

Wir konnten noch sehr kurzfristig ein Frühstück dazu buchen. Es war sehr üppig (verschiedenes Obst, Toast, Marmelade, Butter, Rührei, Bacon, O-Saft)und wurde an die Tür gebracht. Nach kurzfristiger Buchung kamen wir mitten in der Nacht an. Wir wurden trotzdem sehr freundlich empfangen. Konnten unseren großen SUV (7 Sitzer) direkt vor der Tür parken gesichert hinter einem Eisengitter. Sehr zu empfehlen für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in San Jose. Sehr sauber, alles da was man braucht. San Jose ist einfach nicht schön. Ständig Stau, Lärm, Schmutz. Es reicht ein Tag nach und vor dem Flug. Sehr netter, hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Unsere nasse Wäsche (Regenzeit) konnten wir wunderbar in einem kleinen Flur vor der Klimaanlagenrückseite trocknen - sehr praktisch.

Es gab nichts zu bemängeln. Fluglärm ist bei einer Unterkunft in der Nähe des Airports einer Hauptstadt logisch...

Nous avons vraiment apprécié l’accueil chaleureux tard le soir après un long voyage. Un contact direct avec la gentillesse et le sourire des gens sur place. Un appartement impeccable, propre avec tout le confort pour un pris raisonnable.

The accommodation is very nice. We stayed in the double room on the first floor. It's actually a mini flat, as it has a small living room with a kitchenette, and the bedroom is large enough for a couple to leave their luggage in the living room. The bathroom isn't exactly large, but it's big enough. On arrival everything was very clean and tidy. In addition to our mini flat, we could also use the terrace space where we could have a drink outside. We didn't had a car, but I think car parking is provided, if you need. The location is very useful for those arriving on a trip or leaving because it's close to San José airport on a street with little traffic and there's a mini-market just opposite where you can buy any groceries you might need. We opted for the breakfast served by the accommodation, which is very good and at a fair price. Kudos for the service and attention given by the host, who is always very friendly and willing to help us with tips on the area and transport if we need it.

Perfect location near the airport. The hosts were very friendly and gave us all the info we needed and were able to give us a shuttle service to the airport very early in the morning.

The family is so nice. We arrived at night and were a little unsure of the area but it was safe. Of course there’s noise being close to the highway and airport so I might suggest ear plugs but it really wasn’t an issue for us. This family really goes above and beyond!

It was AMAZING!!! Everything you need, set up so well, spotlessly clean, family was super friendly and helpful. A lovely place with an outdoor chill-out space. Perfect location to stay for an early morning flight. Definitely highly recommended, would come back!

Clean, convenient to the airport, local restaurants nearby. Edwardo is absolutely wonderful and could not do enough for us. He picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. We are very grateful for his efforts.

There is a great deal of traffic noise outside late into the night. The apartment could benefit from triple pane glass in the windows.

Edward was very nice and helpfull, friendly, he organized us a little dinner and we eat there after the long flight, the appartment is big and only 4 minutes from the airport away

Location is near the airport and just off a main road where most of the car hire companies operate, so handy as a first/last stopping point for a visit.

A short drive to the airport, and the service excellent. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We had a good nights sleep after a long flight.

We had a great stay! It was very close to the airport. Everything was very clean and Edward and his wife went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, including getting a rental car delivered to the house last minute. Would 100% recommend.

Edward met us at the airport and was extremely friendly. He was willing to help us with any need we had.

Edward was a great host who communicated well and offered transportation to the airport for a very early morning flight. The property felt safe and cozy. It was much more charming than a chain hotel.

Booked with every intention of staying the night and traveling to the coast the next day. My flight was delayed until the next morning, so didn’t get to stay. Others in my group did make the night and said the stay was wonderful! Facilities were clean and breakfast was amazing! The owner was very attentive and responsive to messages my messages and understanding of the situation. Even picked up friends from the airport. If in the area again and need a night stay, will try and book again.

We had a great stay at Edward & Familia Inn, located conveniently just a few minutes drive from the airport. Edward was very helpful in answering all our questions and him and the family made sure we had all we needed for our stay :)

Edward was so accommodating! He drove us to a local restaurant and helped us order food when we were very tired after a long journey. He also let us do a load of laundry!

The place was great, very comfy and the location was perfect. We decided to spend the last night in Alajuela before flying back and the place was perfect for that. The owner is so kind and helpful. The place was super clean and comfortable. There is everything you need. I would go again!
