Staff were great but the breakfast was absolutely awful. Juice was spoiled. Bagels and pastries tasted like they had been out for days, the toaster was broken, and it was overall a bad experience at breakfast.

A very nice location and the room was very nice. Only disappointing thing was the WiFi was almost completely unusable.

We chose a small room, but we made do with our chosen space. There are larger rooms. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Our toilet wand broke and they fixed it immediately. Coffee and tea were available all day. Breakfast is truly continental only with various pastries, breads, cereals and fruit. No eggs or m at, but I believe it’s standard in the town as they want that business to go to some local breakfast places. Our favorite part by far was the availability parking at the inn and the easy walking distance to all major sites, shopping and restaurants. Parking in town is a HUGE problem so staying within walking distance of everything is a MUST. The only complaint for us is although the air conditioning did a good job cooling the room, it did nothing to remove the humidity. Towels would not dry for use the next day but remained damp. Still, I would recommend for the quaintness, comfort, cleanliness, parking and convenient location.

Wow, definitely not worth the price. Room was very noisy, sheets and pillow case had red stains, and conditioner was empty. Staff was very rude on check-in. Not at all what I expected given the cost!

We come to bar harbour every year and love staying at Queen Anne’s Revenge!

Historic place and in a really good location. A few blocks to the "main strip" but easily walkable. Staff was very nice and we were greeted with a glass of champagne. They put out a nice continental breakfast too. Our only real complaint would be that we were in a room that wasn't part of the main house and the placement of the room being lower in the ground level made it so we couldn't open the blinds with any sort of privacy. Other than that, it was a nice place to stay.

Location was good for walking down town. Bedroom on the first floor was right next to the kitchen and we were wakened at 5:00am by the staff, putting out breakfast!

Wonderful weather good friends lovely hotel

I wanted to give this more stars, but felt like there is much to improve upon. We had 2 rooms in the building behind the house with the bar. Both were on the first floor. Our entry door was a patio sliding door which is weird and felt a little bit like a safety issue. The room had a strange chemical/moldy smell which we asked about and the cleaning staff said they couldn’t smell anything and didn’t use any special cleaners. Having allergies and asthma makes me super sensitive to these things. The humidity in the room was incredibly high. They need to add a dehumidifier to these rooms so that your sheets don’t feel wet all the time. Our towels never dried since there was so much moisture in the room. Other than the rooms, the common spaces are really nice. Having 2 outdoor porches for guests was a nice touch. We spent most of our time ehile at the inn on the bar porch. Very nice vibe and comfortable. I would stay here again but likely request a room in the main inn to avoid the humidity issues.

This was an amazing place to stay. Only 10 min or less to walk to downtown. Staff was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend

Unique property, old but well maintained, location was great and very walkable for the downtown and waterfront area. Our big negative was no elevator, we were on the 3rd floor/top floor. Narrow, steep, staircase with multiple 90 degree turns. My wife and i are in our mid 70s and early 80s, luggage up and down was a challenge, going up and down the two flights of steep, narrow, stairs limited our activities each day. If you are young and have good knees this is a good choice. Our room had two TVs, the one in the sitting room, would drop off line every hour or so and reboot. One staff member i talked with was not very friendly or welcoming. I asked about restaurant recommendations, she told me download the QR code for a list of restaurants. She had no opinion on what she like or heard good things about. I felt like she could not be bothered.

This property has been updated and the decor is super cute. Super convenient location and walking distance to everything. Rum bar was a bonus. Loved this stay. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

This property is in a great location. It was comfortable, and cozy. Parking is tight and can get difficult if you come in late. Breakfast is cereals and pastries, not hot food. I would recommend staying here and would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay from the sparkling wine at registration. The room was pleasant and quiet, and we were pleased to have the gas fireplace in the room. We were especially impressed with how quiet the air conditioning unit was. The included continental breakfast, though not "hearty," was quick, convenient and tasty. It saved us time and money to let us get on with the day's activities. The location was convenient to the downtown and its restaurants as well as the sand bar to Bar Island and an entrance to Acadia National Park.

Arrived in the evening straight from the airport. Checked in and was directed to a different room. Our room was extremely dissointing, description misleading. I dont think anyone would pay that much extra for that jacuzzi. Breakfast is quite dissapointing as well. For the price we paid for this room, in this part of the world, this was not a good experience at all. Bar harbor was a great place to visit, just don’t stay here, specially if you are from a decently large city with modern amenities.

Loved everything about it!

Decor, breakfast, staff, porch were superior.

It was a fair room. The toilet was too low. Whatever they mopped with had a horrible smell. The bed was not too comfortable. The pillows were so hard, I had to go buy 2 pillows. The worst was the parking.

Super cute well taken care of. The morning coffee could use a little help but beyond that it’s awesome.

Great property with character. Close to all areas of Bar Harbor. Grocery store, convenience store, etc. within a block. Fire place, hot tub, etc. in select rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff.

This was such a cute place to stay. Very quiet, easy to walk all over Bar Harbor. Also easy drive into Acadia. The staff was very nice. We had a great time!
