I understand that check in is a 3:00. What I couldn't understand was, why not give me the fob when I arrived early. And set the fob to be used at 3:00. Rather than having to go back to collect the fob which was quite far from the hotel itself

Very nice nice hotel. Great location

Very clean. We left tips for the cleaners but they never accepted them, so we just kept adding to it until the last day. Restaurant food was absolutely delicious... the service was poor... took a long time to get coffee or drinks even. The staff were very friendly but they dont go out of their way... if you enjoy drinking by the pool, they wont come to the pool to see if you want beverages. Even though outside liquor is prohibited. So we were very displeased that we would have to get out of the pool, walk down stairs and around the corner to get to the bar to get a drink. Even when at the bar, when we would approach the bar we often werent greeted. I waited while the staff talked to one another, as to not interrupt. Then when done I would ask them if I could order a drink. I speak Spanish so it was easy for me to communicate. But i found the service was poor. They are very Friendly but very unattentive and that is unfortunate because this place has some nice features. A beautiful view and short walk to playa arrocito. For us, we would rather stay in an air b and b, because it will be cheaper, and i felt like i served myself drinks most of the time. There are lots of stairs. NO RAMPS. I am not mobility challenged, but this place is not for those folks. We had peoples laundry showing up on our patio from the suites above us. Who were drying laundry. Which is minor to us. But might bug someone else. Would come here to eat again but likely not stay.

We loved the property and friendly staff. The lower pool should be for adults only as kids get too loud and you can’t relax. Also, we went to the lobby to check out at 6am but we had to wait about 10 minutes while our taxi was waiting for us as the lobby attendant had to go do a walkthrough the room to make sure the room was okay. This made us feel very uncomfortable. I forgot to mention the food at the restaurant was awesome and servers excellent!

Hotel was recently remodeled. Staff was nice. Rooms are nice and clean. Wish we had a microwave or a little fridge but everything else was amazing. Private little beach is beautiful.

Great resort

Lovely hotel with excellent restaurant and two pristine pools. The staff and service were friendly, professional and extremely helpful. Beautiful view from our junior suite and safe swimming five minute walk away. A taxi is needed for shopping, pharmacy, ATM or any outside services. My husband was sick and a doctor and nurse came to the hotel to treat him. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is nice, clean, all the staff friendly and helpful. The beach is nice but there's no shade. There's a restaurant that they will rent a table with chairs and umbrella for 200 pesos or you can eat and you won't paid for the rent. There are no restaurants around so you need to take a taxi to go downtown 60 pesos for the trip. The hotel is on a hill so if you decide to walk it might take 45 to one hour or more.

I saw a rat running from the kitchen on the breakfast time an dont have cold water on the room only hot an liitle water coming from the shower

This was a really really nice place to relax by the pool, . However, since there are only about 10 pool chairs and often none were unoccupied. Service staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, including restaurant staff. Food quality generally good if a bit inconsistent. Restaurant prices were in line with other restaurants in the area. The only downside for us was that we didn't have a car and the was almost no shopping or other restaurants within an easy walk.

Swimming pools are essential to coping with the tropical heat. Pools have no stair hand rails to support mobility challenged people, so they are at risk of falling and injury, or unable to use the pools. This is not a good property for handicapped people. Also, towels are really thin and cheap.

Great overall, just one thing there was no ice machine and the one hey have was broke

This hotel is clean, quiet, walkable distance to the beach. We stayed in a junior suite, the fridge was great. There was a built in hot plate which would be good if you brought a pan. A microwave would be a better choice. The staff was friendly and very good. No complaints, we are coming back.

Location is stunning, however amenities are lacking just a bit. No hair dryer, iron or drawer space

The view from all areas of this hotel is amazing! We saw whales, rays, dolphins and tons of fish. Room was outstanding and truly was only missing a small fridge. This property is close to Arrocito Beach and also has two pools (although one was not available due to a filter issue). If you like a quiet area, this outstanding hotel is recommended. We will return!

Enjoyed our stay. Spectacular ocean views. Very isolated in terms of shopping. Must be prepared to deal with hilly environment for walking. Lots of steps and No elevator in the hotel.

Clean rooms, hot water for a shower and friendly staff. This a great place to relax. The view from my room was great. 5 min taxi drive from the center, taxi charges around 55-60 pesos so that wasn’t an issue. Definitely would come again.

The staff was extemely helpful. The hotel is a little out of the way but cheap taxis are plentyful and hotel frontdesk will call for one everytime you need one.
