This was a wonderful guest house. The owner was incredibly accommodating and helpful. He showed us all around the map pointing out different things for us to do and made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. Also, his dog is adorable.

The inn owners, Suzann and Tyler, are amazing people. They are so welcoming and accommodating. I enjoyed my chats with them and their love of Vieques and what they do is quite contagious! Suzann and Tyler also offered many suggestions on places to eat and visit (like Finca Victoria for yoga and breakfast) which made things easier to plan. The grounds are beautiful and very natural. We stayed in our own private "love shack" which had ample space, a very large bathroom and shower, and was air-conditioned. The owners are working hard and continue to make improvements to the accommodations - there are many thoughtful touches throughout. And if you need anything or have a suggestion, they are quick to follow through. The shared kitchen and sitting area are nice and a great place to prepare a breakfast or meal. Clean and comfortable with everything you need and more plus the amazing hosts make the Esperanza Inn a place we would most definitely stay again!

What an awesome visit! The owners were just the nicest and most helpful people. Environment was just delightful and very easy very short walk to downtown, 5 minutes. I loved sitting around the pool and just relaxing. Very rare that I go anywhere and say that I want to come back, but I want to come back and this time spend more than just two nights, probably a week.

If there were a 5 star rating in Expedia, the Esperanza Inn would be my first choice for that honor. Suzanne & Ty have created a comfortable refuge that perfectly fits the Veiques vibe. They took over this little inn a couple of years ago and have added touches that make it welcoming, comforytable and fun (in a low-key kind of way). Our room was comfortable, clean and well appointed -- not fancy but it had everything we needed with a few thoughtful touches added (eg a soft cooler & very nice beach towels). But the entire place and the atmosphere are what really stand out. A cozy little tropical backyard with a "dipping pool"; a full kitchen (w good coffee) and comfortable indoor public area; and most of all: Ty, Suzanne and Pebble the friendly Yorkie. They were soooo generous with advice and information (but not pushy at all). The location may be the best on the island, on a quiet street right around the corner from the tiny Ezperanza strip (half a dozen restaurants, a couple of stores, a couple of bars, all the kayak/snorkel rental/tour kiosks, and a promenade overlooking the idyllic bay). Plus the room fee was extremely reasonable. This is a REALLY special place. Come to think of it: I give 'em 5 stars plus PLUS!

We stayed for one to experience the bio bay tour. Suzann and Tyler were so helpful - suggesting the best vendors for all the available activities. The guesthouse is about a 20-minute golf cart ride from the ferry, but it's just a few mins walk to the nearest convenience store and beachfront restaurants. They no longer offer a complimentary breakfast, but I suggest breakfast at Bili's. There is A/C inside the room, with a typical bathroom and mini fridge. There is a common kitchen area that can be used, as well as a small dipping pool. They do have a spunky, small dog, many neighborhood cats, early-rising roosters and the occasional horse visitor but they were not an issue for us. We will definitely be staying with them again!

Fantastic location in Esperanza. The Vieques UTV rental company almost ruined our vacation but Suzann & Tyler went up and beyond to help us out. Days before our arrival, Suzann started to send me messages and details of coming here, she knows EVERYTHING about this island. Thank you so much for the 6-Star service!

This property doesn't allow any children 13 yrs and younger. However this rule is not clearly listed on the page. We received the information the day we checked in, and cannot get any money back although they are able to sell my room to someone else.

What I liked and what was most unique were the proprietors They make every effort to accommodate the needs and comforts of their guests In the back there's a beautiful tropical garden with swimming pool Half a minute away is it nice restaurant and the malecon of Esperanza I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and believe that you will too

This is an amazing place to stay, the staff is so kind and will be making your stay perfect. Love to stay here and next time I go to Vieques definitely I will stay there.
