Always safe,quiet and friendly!

The staff was unbelievably friendly. I've stayed there several times and they have always made me feel like I am staying in my own house.

The Garden’s house team made me feel welcome and always had answers to all my questions. Everything was clean and accessible. I am already planning my next stay at Garden’s House.

Absolutely wonderful staff. They cooked a delicious vegetarian meal for me at a very cheap price and drove me to the airport at 4:30am for a very good price as well. The bed was very comfortable and clean. Location was in a safe neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Great place

A very clean room for both of us. Breakfast was good. All the staff were very friendly, although we came almost midnight from the airport, the young lady at the front desk was very kind. We left in a hurry to catch the bus to Puerto Jimenez, my sister in law left her phone in the room. The owner drove to our taxi and caught us in time. Thank you very much for a wonderful service. We will be back there again in a week.

Going to CR by myself; the staff at Gardens House were awesome. They treated me and those I met that also stayed there very well. I will def return to this place when I come back.

Great for convenience... close to airport

It is an excellent Hostel to stay in if you are looking for a quiet location and tranquil hostel that has a lovely little garden to relax in before or after a long flight. It is NOT a party place and does not have a bar. It is reasonably close to the International Airport. The mattress and other items were basic but clean and comfortable. Only the TV in the room was not working well. The woman was kind enough to make me a scrambled egg and piece of toast in the morning, as I did not want to eat rice and beans before travelling on the bus.

I like the friendly home. I happen to be here with no other tenets so it's extra quiet.

I arrived at 3 am and the young lady answered my call quickly and came to let me in without any wait. Very polite and kind to be 3 am I’m sure she must’ve been sleeping.

Family was nice, hostel was clean, environment was relaxing.

Hard working people doing things right. One little thing is that my 4:45AM driver did not come, but arranged an Uber in 5 minutes to the airport, which resolved the issue for about $4

Very convenient and pleasant spot! I had an overnight stay between flights at SJO and Gardens House was ideal. Very friendly owners who served a good breakfast and organized transportation to the airport. Would go again!

Really nice people and nice garden at guest house

My flight didn’t land until 1am and they accommodated check in no problem!

Beautiful accommodation, there are many plants throughout the property and a lovely garden in the back to relax in and mingle with other travelers. I had the private room and it was a great room, very nice looking and clean. The hosts were fabulous as were the other travelers staying there. I am grateful I found this place! Thank you to the hosts who provided breakfast, tips, good conversation and a ride to the airport.

I love this spot! 5th time I've overnighted here,staff is extremely helpful,nice complimentary breakfast. I cannot say enough positive things about this killer little hostel.

This is my first hostel stay (I always thought the worst for these places). I absolutely loved it here. The staff were so kind and welcoming. I had a private bed with a clean bathroom. They had a wonderful vegetarian breakfast and coffee. A beautiful relaxing patio ou back. I highly recommend this place. I'm very impressed! Thank you for everything guys and I will recommend this place to anyone!

it was fine. arrived late and left early in morning and breakfast was served and good.

They were so accommodating to my late arrival/ early departure, and the house was beautiful. Would recommend!
