Our stay was great ! Check in and check out was easy. Enough of basic supplies ! If you decide to stay here 1) bring salt and pepper 2) DO NOT buy coffee filters, there are plenty just need to find them. Several local places to eat in walking distance. Free entertainment - local mini golf place would not honor it without some special code so contact your property managers in advance. We never were able to figure it out. Super close to the beach 10-11 min walk. Really nice neighborhood. Easy to catch Uber. Door dash and Instacart accessible. Children friendly. Had lots of baby gear including umbrella stroller. Overall, great stay! If we do a large group again, we would definitely come back! Thank you !

Beautiful house! Very clean! Very kid friendly! Close to everything, a little bit of a walk to the beach if you have small kids/babies. Recommend a golf cart rental or driving and parking. Loved loved seeing the baby turtles at night! Highly recommend!

Had three different families with varying age kids stay at the same time. Good location with short (10 minute) walk to beach. Plenty of room for us all. Nice amenities and extras.

This location was perfect for Tennis State Championships weekend. It was central to all courts we were scheduled to play, making the trips to play manageable. The covered pool was a great place to relax during all the rain.

Our family of 15 were able to stay in this lovely home. We ranged in age from 6 - 72. We found the accommodations excellent. The proximity to Folley Beach and having access to our own pool made the stay very enjoyable.

We had 3 families with age ranging from 2 yrs - 13 teens and adults. They loved the heated pool. Lots of fun activities, including golf promotions through the EXPLORE app! Beds were super comfortable. Property manager were responsive and helpful... GREAT family vacation. Highly recommend it!

This was one of our favorite rentals! We liked the proximity to the beach, walked there a few times each day. The pool was warm which was perfect for the cool evenings. There were 9 of us and we had plenty of room for sleeping, eating and just hanging out. Each room was updated and clean. We hope to return some day!

We stayed here with a group of adults and there was plenty of space. Best parts of the house: very well equipped kitchen, two fridges, small but nice pool, great deck area, convenient elevator, fun games in loft room and we appreciate that that room had a door so it was a proper bedroom. TVs were very modern and easy to stream to. Porches were really nice, house had convenient access to trails and parks and the beach especially since we rented bikes. Master bath is absolutely amazing. Downsides: although ostensibly a beach rental, there's no view of the beach and its a bit of a hike (or ride) to get there, but it's a pretty beach. The disappointment we had was that the linens weren't great. The towels in most rooms smelled clean but had long hair stuck to them, and several of the sheets were stained. Otherwise the house cleanliness was great. We killed a couple roaches but I think that's norm for SC.

The house was great and it was equipped with everything we needed for a wonderful family vacation. The beach was a short bike ride away and it was nice to be away from the crowds at Coligny. We had a small issue at check-in as the codes did not work, but the property manager responded quickly. The children and adults alike enjoyed the covered pool. However, upon our arrival, we saw 4 alligators in the lagoon behind us. One did come very close to the bank behind the house so if you have small children playing, be aware. The only issue/recommendation is one a previous reviewer mentioned. The living room carpet sheds continually. It also bunches up when you walked on it which made it perilous for our grandmother who walks with a walker. She had to be very careful. Overall, though, a great property! We have wonderful memories of our HHI vacation!

Plenty of space for our large family. Beach is about .4 miles away, an easy walk on a paved path. Our only concern was the pond behind the house due to potential for alligators. We indeed saw one in the pond which was slightly unnerving but it did not hinder our great time at this house. Just kept us aware while we were at the pool area since it backs right up to the pond. We would recommend this home.

Very cute well equipped house. The pool is very small (gracious photography) and the beach is a hike for young kids. But overall great home for a group.

Had a spledid time with our entire family (now living in 3 different states). This was the first time in nearly two years we had been able to all get together. Everything was fine with the house. We did have internet difficulties but after a few days that was resolved by Spectrum installing new router and modem. The only problem we had was that the entire population of the USA was on the island. COVID release backlash. Beach, Restaurants and stores were beyond max. One suggestion would be to replace the livingroom and dining room carpets. The first was loosing fiber and the second was worn out.

Perfect location for a guys trip. We had 12 and the amenities were great.

We have a girl's weekend trip each year with ages ranging from 35-67! There were 10 of us and this house had plenty of rooms to make all of us comfortable. It was beautiful and the pool area underneath was fantastic! Everything you can imagine is provided (toiletries, beach towels, beach chairs, etc). What a wonderful time! Beach Boutique who manages this property is awesome!

We had a much needed beach getaway with all the craziness that we have been experiencing in 2020. We really enjoyed this property, it was great for the 3 families that went on the trip. The owners are super organized and the check in process was all virtual and super easy. We took advantage of doing a Publix instacart when we showed up to avoid the Saturday rush on the island and helped us avoid crowded grocery stores. The beach is about an 8-10 minute walk on a paved sidewalk that is mostly shaded. Very easy. The beach access has a great plastic type path through the soft sand that makes bringing wagons or just walking much easier. When we got to the beach we just headed to the left where it was less crowded and were able to find plenty of space. When not doing the beach we did the pool at the house. It’s a small pool, but was great to float in and watch movies on the TV down there. The volume was hard to hear so you have to turn the TV all the way up. But we enjoyed watching a couple of movies and floating the afternoon away. With the pool covered it is a nice break from the sun which is always intense in July/August. The TV by the pool and the main TV are Roku TVs. That means they only seemed to support streaming services. Between the 3 families we had it was easy and worked out great. The other rooms appeared to have normal cable TVs. Just an FYI. Rooms were comfortable and having an extra fridge by the pool was super handy. You just have to be patient because showing up and loading the fridges all at once it will take a little for them to cool down. We made the pool fridge the beverage fridge and it took a solid day to cool everything down, but that’s just what I would have expected. The only improvement I would suggest is a new grill. The grill there is old and hanging together by a thread. We grilled a couple times, but it was easier to cook other meals. Overall it was a great week and the owners were fantastic to work with. I would definitely recommend this to others.
