Staff here is extremely great. Nice, helpful, everything you’d want. Great food and entertainment in a great setting.

The resort is beautiful, with gorgeous beaches and facilities. The villas themselves are getting dated, but it was clean and inviting. Carolina, our housekeeper and cook, was the kindest, most considerate person. I have mobility difficulties and she made accommodations for me. She kept the Villa spotless. There were some maintenance issues, but the resort attended to them quickly and efficiently. The food was good, especially the Dominican restaurant. My daughter and her husband went on an excursion with her 14-year-old son to the Damajaguas waterfall jumps and had a blast.My husband took lots of walks around the resort and on the beach. We all enjoyed the beautiful beaches, with NV being our favorite. Everyone was kind and helpful to me with my needs. As to check-in etc., Jim was fantastic. Everything went as planned. Jim was very communicative and helpful. Wonderful vacation!

I would like to start by saying that Jim the host was great to work with and I do not think that he intentionally misrepresented this resort. Once we arrived at the airport our stretch limo, which I didn't realize we were getting, was amazing and stocked with champaign and beer! Great all around. Once we got to Lifestyle Holiday Resort check in was pretty smooth... We got in and dropped off bags freshened up and headed out to explore. The next day is when all the problems started to arrive. This particular house had multiple issues ranging from AC(they said they couldn't fix), no water in shower, no stove oven(for our in house breakfast each morning), pool was super tiny and stone was falling off, wifi wouldn't work in this particular villa, and some other minor things. We went to thevl office and at this point it took a tour of the property(its a timeshare and I expected them to try to sell, and that was fine) and about 3 hrs of complaining to get moved. They finally moved us from the 5 bedroom we were given(actually 6 with the hidden room, which would have allowed the couple that ended up booking a separate 1 bed suite across the resort because they said they didn't have a 6 bedroom to stay with us) to 2 side by side 3 bedroom villas. Things improved at this point!!! My main complaint for this resort is that with it being a timeshare there are multiple levels. Owner, members, guest, guest of memeber/owner. Again that is fine but I do not think that they are transparent with the members about what their guest will receive when they book through them. We didn't have access to about half of what was listed. So I think transparency from the resort is main issue here. 2nd issue is they actually treat you differently if you do not have on an owners bracelet. We saw this 1st hand as the couple I mentioned earlier booked through an owner. We have Member Guest bracelets. AGAIN I do not think Jim intentionally misrepresented. I think they have failed to inform him of what to tell his guest to expect. On a good note the cleanliness FOOD were amazing! That gets 5 stars! Thank you again Jim!

This was one of the best vacations we ever had. The Villa was spectacular. We had our own private pool with waterfall. We had our own golf cart to get around, which was very helpful. It was More than we could of imagined. The house keeper/Chef was amazing, she prepared an excellent breakfast every morning and brought beautiful flowers. The villa was kept very clean and pool was kept up with every day. We had complimentary drinks and fresh fruit every day at the villa. The resort was very beautiful and very large. It had everything for the whole family. I would highly recommend staying at the villa and going to OceanWorld. Jim was very responsive to all my texts and had everything handled perfectly. He is a very gracious host. I will definitely be booking another trip with Jim.

Jim was amazing from begining to end, he really was always available to help us out as much as he can on his end. This is a resort, you dont get what you see in the pictures. The management team are only accomadating if you buy a timeshare. We didnt get the ocean world tickets and didnt get the 6 or 5 bedroom house we originally booked. They split us into 2 diff homes. This does NOT reflect Jim it was out of his control. Thank you Jim for doing your best. Lifestyle resort should treat all guests equally. We loved it and were looking to buy a house but after the way lifestyle staff treated us we were turned off.

Jim was great at communicating and helping the trip come together. I will definitely use Jim's properties in the future. Just a few negatives .. 1) AC was not working in a few rooms. 2) No VIP bracelet .. not a problem since most VIP places were closed due to Covid Overall the property was great. Daily breakfast and maid service helped. We were very close to the beach and golf cart really helped.

Overall nice place to stay. Great location and more than enough space. Looks better in person. Rates and service was good. 1. Not having hot water was the only issue.

Pros-great communication with owner. Jim was VERY responsive and nice to deal with.-beautiful grounds, very lush and well taken care of-very nice beaches-excellent employees, happy and smiling and very friendly-delicious home cooked breakfasts and wonderful women cooksCONS-very outdated villas- broken furniture in Villa 21 including outdoor chairs. Daughter almost hurt herself when of the legs broke off-45 minute wait in shuttle on arrival- suggest they take less people per shuttle runs-45 minute wait to check in- very inefficient. Get bracelets that open doors like Nikelodean in Punta Cana.-no golf cart provided and had to wait average 15 min for shuttles anyplace we wanted to go-LOUSY LOUSY WINE served in every restaurant-LOUSY LOUSY WINE offered as FREE wine. With DR being close to ARGENTINA, get some great Argentinian wines from Mendoza-Trapiche, Mexican restaurant was SO LOUSY- NOT AUTHENTIC at all and salsa and guacamole were jar. Served chips vs real tortilla chips... COME ON!-very weak drinks in all bars-VERY LOUD music on Sunday guest party. Get rid of that. It's not needed and keep all restaurants open. Allow us to select the restaurants vs concierge pick them... -Grand-daughters had chicken at VIP Gourmet and both got VERY ILL- vomiting and high temperature-first villa (48) had a major leak in the bathroom. They moved us to Villa 21 which was right next to restaurant garbage dumpster. Heard bottles breaking all day/night plus horrible smell. -Dirty spa facilities- saunas and jacuzzis...-waited almost 2 days for liquor package to be delivered. Only good thing was Vodka. No Tequila offered and horrible wines which we threw out. -SLOW VIP service answering phones

Me and my family had the best time ever

Amazing house, amazing views, wonderful housekeeper, Jim is great to work with and helpful with all the arrangements. We had our own golf cart, breakfast at the house every morning and then the other 2 meals at one of many places on the resort. Our fridge was replenished with drinks daily, and the housekeeper went out of her way to help with whatever we needed. It was great, and I would go back again any time! Very much a luxury vacation!

We had a fabulous time at the property. Our experience here was a first. We had never been here before. The Dominican is an amazing place to visit. LifeStyles Holiday Vacation Club is an amazing place. The Property itself is fantastically kept and manicured very well. I was able to find this property by using VRBO.com. We were going with another family. It was their 20th wedding anniversary and we decided their family of 4 and our family of 4 would have a great time vacationing together. So, we booked a villa with 4 bedrooms. The Villas are decent. They are not kept up to the level of the rest of the property by no means. There are cracks in walls, old fixtures, and very poor air conditioning systems (we are gringos of course). However, they send a maid every morning to not only cook your family breakfast, but to clean and prepare the Villa for the evening. The staff at the Resort runs on what i like to call "Dominican Time." 5 minutes in Dominican Minutes could be awhile. Their english isnt very good either, but for the most part they will bend over backwards to help you! Got to love their effort. That brings me to the facilities. You could eat food off the walkways!!! The staff does an amazing job and on a "daily" basis of cleaning an manicuring the HUGE HUGE Resort. For this reason alone, we cant wait to return. My wife and I wanted to find a great vacation spot that was all inclusive. We had never experienced an all-inclusive vacation before. We found this opportunity to go spend a week in the beautiful Dominican Republic, Puerto Plata Lifestyle resort. We decided to really spoil ourselves and rented a 3 bedroom Villa. It was like having your own house, with a golf cart to drive AND a personal Chef that fixed you breakfast in your villa each morning. The villa also comes with your own private pool and maid service. We booked our travel through Jim and Dee Karleskint. They are both very help as we had a lot of questions. They provided suggestions on flights, information about the different accommodation options, answered lots of questions about the facilities, tipping (when or if, how much). We ate at several different restaurants (never disappointed). Each restaurant was helpful finding gluten free options for my wife. The selection of beaches, bars and little places to grab a bite of food was great. We were treated like VIP’s all week. We really enjoyed going to the beaches to relax in the warm sun. We also went to Ocean World (like a small Sea World) that is down the road from the resort. We did the behind the scenes tour and got up close and kissed by a Sea Lion. We did two excursions during the week and I highly recommend both! The first was a bucket list item for my wife, to ride horses on the beach and in the water. Jim and Dee know the gal that owns this excursion. It was beautiful and so much fun. The second excursion was Monkey Jungle zip lining. You zip on 7 different lines which are great, then you spend about an hour in a Monkey habitat with about 50 squirrel monkeys that will come sit on your arms, shoulders and head! You hold a plate a food and they will come! This was a great week and we will be back again. Without question we will book through Jim and Dee. One last point on this trip, we took a set amount of cash for the excursions, tips, souvenirs and never once used a credit card because all food, drinks and lodging are paid. So no big credit card bills followed us home! But I sure do miss having my breakfast ready and waiting in the morning now that we are back home! Thanks Jim and Dee for working with us!

We booked a 4 bedroom villa with Jim last September and had the absolute BEST time. There is no better way to experience the property than with a villa all to yourself and your own golf cart to drive all over because the property is HUGE. Breakfast was served every morning with pancakes, bacon, eggs, mimosas, coffee and pastries and was great every morning. We picked 9am but they will do whatever time you request. We were served outside some of the days as well which was a great start to the day. We were absolutely blown away with the wonderful condition of the villa, the attentiveness of the VIP staff, the dinners (especially the rock lobster and steak at Simply VIP), and the cabanas at Serenity beach. All four of us are world travelers and I have NEVER seen the level of service we experienced this week. The kindness and professionalism practiced by the entire resort was unbelievable. Be aware that Jim and I ran into an issue where Shareholder guests are only given liquor for the villa on the first day of the trip and not each day as both of us expected. A small speed bump in an otherwise perfect trip that Jim quickly corrected and offered to pay for liquor that we bought at the on site store. We found that since we spent all day at Serenity beach with a bar right there and cabanas it really wasn't an issue (and we are big time drinkers) so we thanked him and didn't need to purchase anything more. They did stock the fridge with beer, water and milk each day as well and were very attentive if we needed anything extra. Do the city tour! They take you to the top of the mountain overlooking the entire coast line and it was a highlight of the trip. Be aware also that you will be asked to go on a tour of the resort for about an hour but it was not a big deal for us. Even right when we left we are itching to return to the resort. Jim was a pleasure to work with and we can't wait to return!

The trip was awesome, weather perfect, villa was enormous and everything you could ask for including a butler, maid and fantastic pool! Eating at the beach recommend De Ja Vue, go to Ocean restaurant and ask for Pavel, he was fantastic, remembers your drink orders and preferences. All the restaurants were great! Scenery was fantastic, mountains, cable car, town tour and Ocean World. Even scoops ice cream! Something for everyone.

My family had the best time the Lifestyles Vacation Resort. My husband and I took our 4 kids, two teenagers and 2 toddlers and the best thing about the resort was that there was something for everyone. The little ones loved all of the pools, and we always had a new one to try out. The older kids loved all of the beaches, we loved to relax in the beautiful cabanas or play in the water on the boogie boards. The accommodations and wait staff were wonderful. The staff was so attentive and spoiled us the entire time we were there. We all can't wait to go back!!!

We just got back from the vacation of a lifetime! We loved the Lifestyles Vacation Club. The resort is perfect for families or couples. We brought our two boys ages 12 and 9 and they had a great time playing in the ocean or swimming at one of the many pools. This resort has many unique features including our kids personal favorite...Scoops, an ice cream shop! The villa we stayed in was very spacious and elegant. We loved the private pool in the backyard. The food was amazing and with such a great variety you will never get bored eating the same thing twice. If you have time check out nearby Ocean World...we loved the sea lion show! Whether you are looking for a couples trip or a family vacation this would resort is a perfect choice! We will definitely be returning!

The Lifestyles resort was wonderful. The good-plenty of food/dining choices, many beaches and pools to swim at and relax, and nightly entertainment. The villas were very spacious and clean with friendly staff members. The bad-there are not any restaurants or room service between 5:00-6:30, it made it hard for us to feed our children.
