Elicia was very cooperative in responding to our questions. The neighborhood was very quiet. The home had everything that was needed for cooking. We went to Coquina Beach every day (3.5 miles away). We also enjoyed sitting on the bay (2 minute walk) between high & low tide watching the boats fly by. We usually had the pool to ourselves. We'll be back! Pat & Ingrid

This place comes as advertised: clean, modern, safe.Everything you need for relaxing is already there. We stayed for 9 days and very comfortably with 2 pups in some very hot/humid weather. Small beaches w/in walking distance, larger ones a short drive. Owner was super-responsive sending a replacement coffee-maker "next day" delivery. Highly recommend if you want to check out AMI, Longboat and Lido Keys.

Our third time back to this same vacation rental on Longboat Key. We have stayed in the complex in the past and keep coming back to this super clean, well maintained condo. Updated bath, and brand new kitchen appliances since last time we were here. We also noticed there were new sofas and comfy beds. We are extremely appreciative of the friendly hosts who always make it easy with all of the beach stuff (wagon, chairs cooler, bikes etc) in the garage. She even sent me a wine opener on Amazon since there wasn’t one there this time. Loved it all! We are already booked for next year.

We have been vacationing in Longboat Key the last 5 years. The owners of this property were the most tentative owners we have ever been involved in. They provided us with a number of suggestions regarding what beaches to go to and the many restaurants that were available. Their property was everything that we could ask for. We appreciated the use of the bikes that came with the unit. I loved the showers, that appeared to be pretty new and having the outdoor space for breakfast and a glass of wine at night. Loved having the use of the garage that helped keep our car cool during the very hot days of the Florida sun. Also liked having the garage door openers that made it easy entering and leaving the unit. Looking forward to next year!!

Having grown up in Sarasota I’m very familiar with the area and bring my family ( two young kids) to longboat once a year and had never stayed at Cedar East before. The community is lovely but this condo is not. Upon checking in I discovered dirty glasses put away, floors that had not been washed, pilled sheets with hair on them, mattress covers and pillows with stains all over, and dust covered vents. Besides lack of cleanliness it was dangerous with cracked tiles on the shower floors which could of cut my kids feet, pieces of pant hanging of the walls. The AC on the first floor did not work which the owner said was to be repaired that Monday cause the fan was broken which believe it or not was the least of this places’ issues. Also we were told there was a stain on the master bedroom carpet before checkin in, more like the entire carpet in the condo is stained and needs to be replaced. Since it is spring break there were not many options to move, but I went to the Cedar East office and was able to secure another unit, it was a lower rate and so beautifully kept. But such a huge inconvenience and stress to have on our first couple of days of our vacation. Although I was refunded in the end, I don’t want another family to experience this on what is suppose to be a fun, relaxing vacation.

Loved the dog friendliness of the property and surrounding condos. All the neighbors were very friendly and helpful. We look forward to seeing them next year.

We so enjoyed our time in this condo. It was quiet and so lovely. Really enjoyed sitting on the patio at night. It was cold the first few days so just stayed in and cooked and played games but plenty of room to spread out. Will definitely stay again sometime.

We had the best time at this Longboat Key location. The pictures online do not do the space justice, it is very spacious , bright and open. The one car garage is an excellent feature especially since the Florida heat can be so brutal for your vehicle. The beds were comfortable and the showers were large and upgraded. One of the location’s perks we loved the most was the bay access and dock. During high tide, the bay access simply looks like an opening in the trees to see the beautiful waters of the area, but at low tide the water recedes and reveals a wide, damp beach filled with shells, sea urchins, hermit crabs and mollusks. We took our fishing rods and would stand at the edge of the water at sunset and fish. The dock was quiet and tucked away in the back of the property. We saw dolphins and manatees several times. It was great! The unit has a couple of bikes, that where perfect for getting to the private beach on the opposite side of the property. The bike ride was 5-7 mins max. This beach is mostly quiet and a great place to swim and also watch the dramatic Longboat sunsets. The host was attentive and informative and if we had any questions she answered promptly and professionally. We will definitely be coming back.

We had a wonderful vacation in Longboat Key, and this was the perfect place for us. The owner is super sweet and very helpful. The house is very well stocked right down to the beach towels and chairs, and well maintained. The location was perfect for us. My husband is an avid runner and really loved being so close to Joan Durante park for his morning runs, the beach access is very close, although we did like going over to Coquina Beach. The community is great, very friendly people, and the pool was never over crowded. There's so much to do in the area, we had a really great day trip over to Sarasota to visit the Ringling Muesem. Did a Dolphin tour over on Anna Maria Island. Great week, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Thr place exceeded all expectations! The area is beautiful 😍 The condo was so clean and spacious!! The owner has thought of EVERYTHING you could possibly need plus anything you never knew you needed on vacay! Every message I sent was responded to quickly and owner was so pleasant to deal with! We will definitely be staying again!

We’e been coming to Longboat Key for several years but have always stayed with family. This was our first experience renting on the island and it was perfect. The condo was clean, spacious, in a great location and stocked with everything we needed for a family beach vacation. We had a little trouble figuring out a shower (the hot water faucet is reversed) and the owner was very responsive and helpful. The neighbors were lovely and we enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch with coffee in the morning or wine in the evening. Our 3 kids (even the baby) also loved walking up to the pool or across the street to the sandbar. It’s located so close to great shops, restaurants and the beach. We had such a wonderful time. Hope we can come back soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks at Cedar East. The condo was clean and comfortable. It was great having 2 full baths. The balcony was lovely and we spent a lot of time there. We also liked going to the boat launch, and we watched the sunrise from the little bay side beach. Having beach chairs and a wagon were a great help and saved room in our trunk. The beaches and sunsets were amazing, but the traffic through Bradenton Beach not so much. Lots to do in the area and we didn't have a bad meal anywhere. We'll be back!

Location is great and so close to attractions and restaurants . Condo complex was immaculate and fishing pier and walk to the pool was so enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! Meticulously clean, fun surroundings (with bay beach and mangrove nature walks), and everything we needed. Owner super helpful and easy to work with. We will be back!

The villa is exactly as advertised: this 3-level townhouse is modern, clean, well-furnished and well-equipped. As other reviewers have remarked, the location is peaceful and quiet. The unit gets nice light--particularly the living/dining/kitchen level which has windows on 3 sides. The screened porch is small but quite pleasant. The kitchen isn't large but has a good amount of open countertop space to prepare food or spread out groceries and supplies. There is ample parking--inside the garage, in the small driveway in front of the garage, and in open "Visitors" parking spots located between the townhouses. During part of our stay, we had some friends come visit us and stay over for 2 nights; they used the queen sofa-sleeper in the living room and our guests said it was comfortable and they slept well. Having the living room/dining area/kitchen on one level and the bedrooms on another level worked very well with these guests, and the villa really can sleep 5 or 6 people comfortably as claimed. Also nice to have the half-bath on the living/dining level (total of 2 and a half baths) when having the additional visitors/guests. The Cedars East pool was very nice (heated to perfect water temperature!). Before arrival, we were a little concerned about the pool being located some distance away from the villa, but this turned out not to be an issue: one can walk from villa to pool in 5 minutes (at a modest pace), and you walk on a raised wooden "boardwalk" through thick mangrove trees which provide plenty of shade. The walk is actually quite pleasant and peaceful. Most important of all, the host (Elicia) was wonderful to work with--in advance of our arrival, as well as during our stay. She is very easy to message via vrbo or direct texts, sheresponded very quickly (often within minutes) to all of my messages (can't ask for more responsiveness than that!). I contacted her in advance of the trip with a few questions, and after some texting we ended up speaking on the phone and had a great conversation. During the trip I contacted her again with a few more questions and again she was responsive and helpful. This is great support and made us feel comfortable to know the host/owner was "always reachable" and responsive. In summary, this rental met our needs nicely. The townhouse is clean, well-equipped, convenient, sufficiently spacious, and the host/owner is nice and supportive. We will likely try to rent here again in the future.

Beautiful property located at Cedars Tennis Resort on Longboat Key. It is a short walk to Sarasota Bay and a bike ride to the tennis courts. Or you can walk through the Mangrove Wetlands on the raised walkway to the tennis court and pool. This rental has a large master bedroom on the top floor with large closet, bathroom, shower, two sinks for each guest in the bathroom. The second bedroom is on the other side of the unit with twin beds and a large closet. The second full bath is just outside the door of the second bedroom. A fully equipped washer/dryer is next to the second bedroom. The main floor consists of kitchen, dining area and living room and a screened-in porch with table/chairs and a loveseat. In the garage (bottom floor) are two bikes, plenty of beach equipment and beach chairs. TV's on main floor and each bedroom. New furniture and bedding. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and dining. We enjoyed going to the arts and crafts fair at Coquina Beach, Sunbathing at the beach, biking, tennis and pickle ball and eating out at Lazy Lobster, Dry Dock, and other restaurants. Also attended an art fair at the Publix Grocery store lot. The nicest thing about Longboat Key is that there are no touristy stores (except on Bridge Street on Anne Marie Island) and no fast food restaurants. The highway has a walking and biking path and there are few stoplights. So it is very peaceful. Beach access is just a little way down the street from Cedars Entrance.

We stayed at this property for 6 weeks (!) and had a great and peaceful time. The host is super responsive and and very helpful all the time. The townhouse is nicely split into 3 levels so it was possible for my hubby and I to both work remotely and still be on simultaneous conference calls. The beach is close and there are a lot of local bars and places to eat all around. St Armand’s is also very close. You just have to either bike or drive everywhere. Overall, great time!

The property looks exactly like on the VRBO site. We didn't find access to the bay beach, so we drove three miles to Coquina Beach and enjoyed it a lot. Tennis Club is only for the members and the Jr Pool means that it is 4' deep. Overall we enjoyed staying there. Elicia is a great host and the property is supplied with everything you need. Beach chairs were new and there were plenty beach towels. Overall everybody enjoyed staying at Long Boat Key and discovering the Sarasota area. Looking forward to repeat this experience.

Had a great stay! Elicia was very helpful with good ideas about photo spots, and groceries really just anything in general. Living room couch was not sleep able however. And queen size air bed was actually a twin and the pump attachment did not fit also had a bit of trouble with tv remote and no welcome book on how to run it. BUT overall amazing property and would definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host family did a nice job of reaching out to us and making sure our stay went well. The location is excellent. You are 10 minutes away from the beach and 2 minutes from the bay. The neighbors are nice within the complex

This is a nice quiet location on LBK. The condo has everything you would need for your stay. The owners were very nice and very responsive to any issues and checked in a couple times to make sure everything was going well. The unit is older and could use some updating but it was very clean.

Super nice property in a beautiful neighborhood, lovely new master bathroom shower,a bit dated decor and leather couches , carpets can use professional cleaning :)

We loved the location and all the places to walk.

Homeowners Elicia and Mike provided us with an amazing stay. The home is in an ideal location, with a tennis and pool club accessible on the property. Renters can also borrow bicycles from here. While there was a lovely beach within walking distance, we chose to take the short 5 minute drive to Ana Maria Island beach where we had access to bathrooms and showers. Also within walking distance is the stunning Joan M. Durante park with a children's playground and beautiful walking paths out by the sea. The home was well equipped and immaculate. As an added bonus, the Master Bathroom shower has just been remodeled. Homeowners were very attentive, helping us access all the home's amenities as well as locating lots of wonderful restaurants.
