It was good like the hotel very nice

The location is great—easy to get around Anchorage and nearby sites. From the listing, I thought it was a bit more upscale than it is. But it was comfortable, quiet and a good place. The staff were friendly and professional.

Beware that all doors except lobby are locked at night. No in or out. Made me uncomfortable thinking what if there’s a fire?

Nice hotel and restaurant staff.

The bar and breakfast staff were excellent and the convenience of the shuttle is what made me book this property. However, the floors were so filthy I had to lay towels down to walk. The hallways could use a shampoo and the smell in the building was reminiscent of mold.

No wifi in my room. 1029. Could not connect Front desk attendant tried multiple times but nothing. In today's world you have to have wifi. It's necessary and expected Please check your server or provider

Wasn’t anything like the pictures sadly. I got stuck in a room with an inside view and it was dirty and run down to look out the window. Room was very clean so housekeeping do an excellent job but very tired and needs modernising overhaul, it is like staying in a 70s hotel but to be fair some people like that feel so it just wasn’t to my taste Bedding cheap and poor quality so not a good nights sleep Staff very pleasant Great shuttle service with very friendly and helpful staff! That’s a really great feature and one that’s appreciated Wouldn’t stay there again

Rundown outside, dirty stained carpet throughout. Ac in rooms are window shakers and very noisy. Not in the best neighborhood. Paid avg 400.00 night because they made advertising on a lake and no rooms have lake view!. I would warn anyone to avoid staying here.

Close to the airport, with shuttle pick up, beautiful location on lake hood. Enjoyed watching the float planes land and take off..Restaurant was okay, not as good as I hoped…

The hotel is incredibly convenient for the airport and I like the fact that you can watch floatplanes take off and land from the dining areas. I found the maintenance condition of the hotel to be generally poor in many areas though.

My room was dirty. It was years of grime build up. I opened the door to my room and there were liquid drips on the wall like coffee or other things around the light switch so walls and things aren’t getting wiped down at all. I had to switch rooms. The carpets were really dirty in the halls. The cleaning lady said they only have so much time per room but I’ve stayed in much less expensive hotels that were way cleaner. The only really clean place is the lobby. Very worn down rooms. Looked like someone took birdshot to the blackout curtains they were so old. Had trouble checking in and checking out. The computers kept “glitching “ and it took her 15 minutes and a computer switch to print a receipt. I would never stay here again.

Excellent stay at Lakefront. Igor at front desk was especially helpful with storage of heavy luggage. The walk in freezer is especially helpful for storage fish and game before heading to the airport. The location of the hotel restaurant next to the Seaplane lake is great for watching.

We pay to check out late at 2pm and the room key stop working after 12pm glad someone stay in the room to open door, that save me a trip to the front desk to activate card, lady in charge of cleaning ask about we where going to check out so they can clean the room, bad organization, they should have that on their list, I feel they were rushing me. Buffet was terrible, but staff was very nice, I don’t recommend breakfast here, IHOP is not far away from Hotel.

For the money I paid for this room it was not worth it

We had a great stay. We do feel a little update in regards to the rooms would be great. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Excellent hotel with an awesome bar

The lake front was great! The outdoor space out back was lovely lush and walkable. Room faced parking lot so a bit noisy. In-window a/c was like landing a plane. Service was great by every staff member.

Could use updating but rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable. Service and staff were great. Shuttle to airport and train station.

Always enjoy how friendly everyone is and the free water bottles. The water up front with lemon and cucumbers was great.
