We always stay at the La Quinta in Anchorage. This might be our 15th time staying to be honest. The beds are super comfortable, the breakfast is great, the staff is friendly, the bathrooms are nice with very good linen, its in a perfect location, and the shuttle to the airport is 24/7. We will continue to stay here in the future. My ONLY request is to get rid of the plastic pillows. I have never seen them before, but I noticed on this stay that a couple of the pillows are a hard/jagged plastic... they are not comfortable at all.

As soon as I checked in I was met with a young woman who appeared annoyed to be there. The next morning I was greeted by the gentleman who cooked the food who was pleasant to be around and welcoming however, the front staff desk was not. Andrew, Roselyn, tav-lain (if that's there real names) was rude to me and my wife.

We just needed a few hours sleep before heading home after a late night arrival from the airport. Checkin was quick & easy. The beds were a little firm. Breakfast was great!

We loved our stay here! The front desk staff was friendly, I loved the check in online early so my in person check in only took a minute. The room was clean and new, shower was amazing, bathroom was spacious. The whole hotel was clean and quiet, great breakfast selection. Will definitely stay here again next time!

I didn’t like the design of the bathroom door which did not offer much privacy. Other than that, they provided pick ups and drop offs and kindly allowed us to check out a little later when we needed it. Much appreciated.

the property itself was fine. it was either fairly new or had recently been remodeled. their website states there is a shuttle to/from the airport. long story short, we waited 40 minutes at 10:30 p.m. for the shuttle which apparently only runs every 30 minutes (not stated on website). other hotels near la quinta had made TWO trips to the airport in the time we waited for the shuttle. called the hotel twice trying to get updates on arrival. super frustrating when you've been traveling for hours and it is late.

We eat gluten free so there were not as many offerings for us. I have to take my own bread to toast.

Our car that was parked near the hotel got broken into, suitcase was stolen front seats a big mess.
When we asked (while reporting to the police on the phone) what the security camera shows, the manager said that they don't cover that part of the parking lot...

The staff was very helpful when our flights got cancelled. The room was clean and quiet. Seemed expensive for what it was and more so where it was but convenient for the airport.

The women who checked us in was crabby and unfriendly. Not helpful about providing information about restaurants in the area or how to schedule the shuttle to the train. For that kind of money you can find a better place to stay.
