Smelled weird wet/musky, dirty/rusty/moldy lamp shades, all the furniture and bathroom cabinets were old and splitting and breaking, wad of spit on side of the vanity, tub drain broken all of the fixtures were rusted. Beds are terrible as well, hard as a rock. I had to convince my kids to stay here one night after spraying the entire room with body spray 😞

Our stay at The Flamingo Water Park hotel was nice, but hardly anyone was staying there. It was basically just us there except for a few other people, and also the water park doesn’t open until the weekend. We stayed during the week so we couldn’t use it. But at least the room was comfortable enough.

Hotel is apparently under remodel with a different hotel chain so the sign was covered with the new logo with zero information about that upon checkin. The rooms are being remodeled as said so everything is in the parking lot. Rooms were drab unlike the photos and just felt stale. Not sure if this rate was at any discount being we got the rundown version of the photos. Not thrilled with the hotel as a whole by any means.

The park was super cute in decorations. ’ the waterpark is a lot smaller than I expected. I was super disappointed on the lazy river only being 2foot and the floatie l my been for children. Some of the slides were closed! We went to the big pool and a family celebrating a bday was super loud and playing there personal music louder than the hotel music. The receptionist did give me an extra pillow and was nice at check in and at checkout.

Older place, but generally clean and comfortable. Bed was harder than I prefer. Lacking electric outlets at desk. Desk chair would be better than straight back chair provided. Great place dollar for dollar.

The room smelled old and dirty. The carpet was stained and the last day we saw a roach in the bathroom

This is a great stay for families with small children. The water park is small and adequate for smaller children, they do have a nice pool that’s about 8Ft deep and closes hours after the water park does which is convenient for us adults.Overall good stay, property workers were kind and friendly and parking was included,The gym is not gym head friendly since they don’t have much in there but there is a lot of food choices around the area as well as a bar by the front desk lobby.

No complaints about this place, especially for the price point. Great bang for the buck! Plus, super nice front desk staff, restaurant servers, and security staff (Apollo is the Man!)
Clean room with a convenientrefrigerator & microwave, nice, accommodating housekeepers, and convenient access to the pool and the included waterpark (4 waterpark passes came with the room and it was right outside our door).
Restaurant & Convenience Store right in the lobby, with no over inflated pricing at either.
My family & I had a wonderful weekend. No, it may not be the Ritz Carlton, but last I checked, the Ritz Carlton doesn't have super fun waterslides & a lazy river.

The pool was okay, the rooms was not really clean, a lizard was in my room had my kids screaming, also the morning before I left I saw a bed bug crawling on the bed. Now I am terrified I bought something home with me. I even made a video of the bed bug. Very disappointed, plus when it rains they close the pools and resorts. Each day I was there it was raining.

No housekeeping services daily. During our stay at the resort, no one came to our rooms to change our towels or make our bed. I am aware during pandemic, the protocol was different, but there’s no more Covid.

This place really wasn’t what I was expecting. My son couldn’t go down any of the slides. The pool was not heated even though it said it was. The kiddie area had water that was freezing cold. The lazy river is 2ft deep the whole way around. My kids had an alright time but it would have been better if my son could have went down the slides I did get my deposit back as soon as I check out though. I will deff not be returning here.

I like that the kids are right outside ur door. I dont like that we only got 1 roll of tissue, nobody came to check on us or even tidy the room, not even to change towels.

Most bizarre hotel experience I’ve ever had. Most of the parking lot was closed because they were hosting a music festival that was “not for hotel guests”. Full stage, vendors, security, and bass that shook the whole building until 11pm. It was LOUD! No concern for guests whatsoever. Room smelled terrible as well.

Many hidden fees and wrong pricing on firms and internet. Only minimum number of people per room is covered for water resort. 4-5 ppl room, only 4 people will be covered for water resort and you will need to pay for the 5th person. The front desk person at night was very sour, unhelpful and had a bad attitude. When I brought up that her form was incorrect on the fee pricing she said it was old and the new price was $10 more after I already signed it and gave it to her. I stated that the contract is binding and they need to honor it. She then changed the price on the firm as I was walking away. Also due to low staffing one slide was shut down and they didn't have many tubes for the lazy river.

God had us passing it off the highway, didn't see the sign. But excellent location near everything, receptionist was wondering very kind and patient. Kids had a wonderful time can't wait till go back..

Had a great time, the kids enjoyed the hotels waterpark, plus in the arcade the kids also had a blast and won prizes, and it was awesome that the outside had additional big size board games.

I had to leave the room at 11pm with 2 kids and I am pregnant. 1st room had bad humidity and moldy smell. 2nd room infested with roaches.

Lack of communication and no maid service came and made our room no Bibles in the room and kids kept running around all night long making where we couldn't really get any sleep

I like that the room was clean that is my main concern of any hotel. The hotel needs an upgrade and more security around the water splash.

I have visited this property on several occasions and had a great time. Apparently the property has changed hands. Some of the staff has remained on which is nice but the amenities and quality of stay has suffered. My hopes are that the new owner/administration will bring back the previous qualities or improve on the current offerings soon.

THE HOTEL ROOMS ARE DIRTY AND HAVE AN UNPLEASANT SMELL. THEY CHANGED US ROOMS SINCE IN THE FIRST ONE WE EVEN FOUND COCKROACHES. WE LEFT A DAY EARLY BECAUSE WE COULD NOT REST. THE SHEETS DID NOT SMELL GOOD AND MY CHILDREN WERE ITCHY.

The hotel is old. AC didn’t keep the room cold. Had a noisy ceiling fan that tried to keep up. Pool was HOT water. It was so overcrowded that you couldn’t even enjoy the pool. Almost unsafe. Water park appropriate for only up to about age 10. Location was sketchy. Balcony wasn’t really secure as someone from neighboring could just crawl under divider and come in your room. We will not be returning to this resort.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at flamingo. I would definitely recommend it. The waterpark is great the only thing is that it definitely needs some update but other than that the place is really clean and perfect for kids. It has a full arcade and a restaurant on property. You dont even need to go anywhere if you choose not to.
