From checking in to checking out our stay was not great! On check in we asked the lobby to store some food for us in the freezer and was immediately told no. However the next couple asked if they could and they were told yes. We asked them to heat up some food and expained that if they pierce the container we wouldn’t be able to eat it due to our religious belief. When the food arrived at 9pm to our room it was pierced. Our kids went to bed crying and hungry. No apology, no offer to bring some fruit just denial. The pool was dirty with a layer of green grime around the edges. The rooms were not clean, sink blocked Personally I would never stay here again.

Absolutely brilliant for what we needed it for. Great for exploring Kent and shops close by. Made to feel welcome by all members of staff especially breakfast kitcehn staff. Breakfast was great and room clean and decent size. Pool was good too. We were lucky enough to get guests of ghe day which was an added bonus.

The hotel had an amazing spa . I really enjoyed my 3 days stay and I definitely return.

Was a great stay, lovely and clean. Helpful staff. Very comfy bed. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that but over would stay again

Comfortable

TV reception poor. No obvious USB charging points. Very friendly young person on reception desk . Some problem with my online booking but she dealt with it calmly .

We have family nearby so was a good base for us.. the room was good and the dining/ bar area looked newly refurbished and was really nice.. we used the pool which was a nice addition to our stay.. would definitely use the hotel again..

Nice hotel in a good location, lots of parking. Could do with some more staff at reception and on the bar at busy times, we were waiting a long time. But overall a good stay!

We were in a room for the disabled which they say we booked but can’t see how. It was ok except the large frosted glass window in the bathroom did not have a blind and we felt very exposed.

Breakfast was delicious. Double bed was a bit small. Bathroom/ toilet area was lovely and spotless.

Customer service at reception was fantastic and the room was clean, spacious with a comfortable bed. Couldn’t fault my stay at all.

It’s free parking here, but make sure you register it before you checkin. The gym was also free, and I used the gym, the steam room, the sauna and the jacuzzi. There’s a swimming pool, but I’d not get to use it. I paid for breakfast, and it was ok, but the orange juice wasn’t very nice, it was weak, like diluted juice. The room was great, and with up to date furniture. There’s a fridge in the room, and a safe, if you want to store your valuables. The only thing was the fridge was so bright, as it had a glass door, so I covered the door with my dark t-shirt so I would sleep. Everything else was amazing

Overnight stay view was on main road side. Could hear ever car going past. Room was freezing on entering, had to turn heating on, on entering which wasn't expected in July! People running up and down corridors still at 3:30am. Used to rate Holiday Inn above Premier Inn and Travel Lodge, not anymore!

I was given a ground floor room at first which overlooked a dual carriageway and was extremely noisy with traffic but after speaking to reception was given a much quieter room at the rear of the property.

Staff friendly and rooms very clean. The breakfast is self serve and plentyful.

Visiting friends nearby for a special occasion . The Holiday Inn was ideal for what we wanted.

Good value, friendly staff, great breakfast, rooms large and clean but a little tired and dated.

The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. We asked for an additional blanket and it arrived within 20 minutes with an apology for any delay. Food was well cooked and served by, again, friendly and helpful staff.

Only stayed for a stop over whilst visiting family but was an ok hotel. Bed was ok, air con in room which made it comfortable. Breakfast wasn't the best as the food wasn't particularly hot. The kettle was hidden away and there was only 2 tea bags and I like my tea! Overall it was ok for what we needed it for.

Very friendly, welcoming staff. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. The only negative was the poor water pressure, especially in the shower and the hot water tap.

We liked the hotel which had a swimming pool and sauna. Swimming pool finished 30min before the closing time at Youfit place. We misunderstood we thought entering was 30min before. The checking out time was 12pm so it was nice and we were able to go to the swimming pool and the sauna. Staff members were very helpful. A room has a shower or a bath. We asked to have a bath and we were relaxed. We did not feel noisy by the road side of the room. We were not keen Asian tapas on the menu, which they were deep fried and not really Asian. However, we had a great birthday treat. A lovely receptionist brought a piece of cake with ice cream. It was very kind of her. Thank you for all your services.

Nice Hotel and helpful staff

The venue was nice, i took my mum for her birthday so we can relax and enjoy the services, the pool and hot tub were not working during our stay, the pool was fixed on our last day of a 4days 3night holiday. It didn’t make the experience enjoyable seen as we were looking forward to the facilities.

Not so clean. Too expensive for this type of hotel!

Handy place to stay , reasonable price , good breakfast.
