Everything was great and only issue was noise from highway next to the hotel.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean. The breakfast is the same mediocre breakfast now at most hotels.
You can hear people next to you.

Overall it was good. Nice bright bathrooms, rooms were good and fairly modern. Hallways seemed to have a smell in the carpeting. Would have like to seen a cleaner toilet in the room, as it wasn't fully cleaned from the prior guests.
The breakfast was nice too. I do have to say that the staff was nice and helpful, but would recommend they don't wipe down the counter with the same rag/towel they wipe the trash lid with. Just general good hygiene practices are critical.

Stayed at La Quinta (Clifton) for a week. For a 3 star hotel it was very good. Beds were amazingly comfortable and air-con worked very well. Lots of choices for breakfast. Lots of amenities….swimming pool, gym, just a shame there was no jacuzzi. Only negative points….there is a coffee machine in the room but no kettle, you can walk down to the reception area, where hot drinks are available to make, however, it would have been more convenient with a kettle in the room. The other negative point we found, was on arrival it’s always nice to be greeted with a friendly welcome, however, the receptionist was not welcoming at all, he was polite but seemed unconcerned and unhelpful. Apart from that, overall it was an enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend.

The experience was ok, what I would expect from this grade of hotel. But, when I accidently left my suit in the closet when we left, the suit disappeared. I called the next morning and they could not find it. This is bad service. There is no excuse for this level of uncaring for guests. Either the suit was stolen or thrown away. Either way it is bad service.

My son and I went to the Giants game. The hotel was convenient to MetLife Stadium. The room was clean and good size. The bed was comfortable. We were disappointed the pool was down for service. There is a Red Robin attached to the hotel. It was perfect for a bite to eat after driving all day. The breakfast buffet was free and average. The breakfast staff was hard working that kept the area clean and stocked. I would stay here again if the pool was working.

The pool is amazing! The hotel is very clean and the staff is courteous, supportive and hospitable. It was a truly enjoyable stay with an excellent free breakfast.

This is a very nice hotel with plenty of amenities. The location is great - next to a Red Robin and very close to a Target. The wifi was fast, and never gave me any glitches. The hot breakfast was also very nice - better than at most hotels. My only concern was that while the washing machines on site worked, the dryers didn't.

The hotel is an average hotel for the price. There was a smell of urine from the bathroom. The breakfast is basic but it is free/included.

The young lady at the front desk when we checked in yesterday was soooo nice! My 1 year old had so much fun playing with her while we unloaded the car :)

Breakfast sub-mid. Trays for eggs and sausage were left empty for extended periods of time. Eggs seemed powdered, no flavor. Expected more when paying over $200/night. Waffle machines were good though. Could definitely do much more for breakfast, especially at that price.

The hotel was great, comfortable and they had a security guard for safety. My son said it was one of the best hotels that we’ve stayed at. And we would stay there again.

The staff was great. The only issue is that other guests were very loud after hours and marijuana smell was coming through the vents. we were in a no smoking room. I'm sure some of these are hard to control by staff, but annoying none the less.

Good breakfast, sausage, egg，fruit, yogurt, bagel, muffin, pancakes,...big indoor pool. Room is clean and comfortable. Very highway, though google showed can access express bus, really confused about how customer can access bus there. Did not try their shuttle to Manhattan, but you can check with the front desk. Like the American dream mall nearby,food court there has so many good choice at good price. The only thing is air condition is too loud.

Too noisy after 10 pm and around 6 am so many noise kids screaming all morning and pool was loud with bunch kids screaming jumping wouldn’t allow any others people to swim because they keep fighting and playing boxing matches splashing water all over pushing each other,I was there with my family but part of that i don’t blame la Quinta but the parents.

I liked how it was spotless quiet and modern. It wasn't far from the American dream mall and a train station that takes you into New York City. The only thing I didn't like was the water pressure in the shower, it was very slow which made showers longer.
