Staff at this hotel are excellent. We checked into our room to find the bed messy/slept in & towels on the floor of the bathroom. Clearly the room wasn’t ready for us! We were moved to another room which was ok but needed some attention! Bathroom mirror was filthy, floor dirty but we did have a clean, freshly made bed!

The hotel was in a good location. Check in was excellent. Sraff very friendly. The hotel is a beautiful building with character and creeky floorboards. Our room was spaces and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. Now the downside. The noise from the club next door was horrendous, Im all for young ones enjoying themselves but not wgen i have to listen to it for hours. Not a great sleep !

First class location with ample parking places. The service I received for the one night stay was very good . Access to the shower via the bath was difficult for me having a problem leg and no grab handles. As it was only one night I never enquired if there was any rooms with showers (no bath). This was a minor point otherwise no complaints

The room smelt of wee. The carpet was horrible, the floor squeezed loudly so sorry whoever was below me. The food took ages and was not very nice. The cider was poured into a beer glass. None of it was like the pictures sold it. Never will i go to a best western again.

Wasn’t very clean, old and dilapidated, the light switch made a high frequency squeal when switched on. The ironing board was broken. Poor quality hotel

I enjoyed a spotless, comfortable room which gave me an excellent night's sleep after a lovely bath. The breakfast was perfect, both in the quality of products and the cooking, as well as the service from the friendly lady in the restaurant.

The check in and check out service are?super convenient and staff are super friendly. However the bath tub in the room is not clean enough.

We cant really fault the staff, as they were friendly enough but the room was very basic and over priced. We had a terrible nights sleep due to the bed. My wife slept in the shallow end and I was down the deep end. The full floor of the room was on a slope. Wouldnt stay again and was some what disappointed.

Was an old fashion hotel a bit dated to no fault of there own though staff were excellent and the breakfast was fantastic was very warm though.

Receptionist and customer service was excellent with a friendly greeting at check-in time. Was comfortable in room although had to wait a few hours before the radiator heating came on. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels and body wash/shampoo although needs an upgrade though. The room was very small for a double, is dated and furniture, carpet and decoration are in need of a refurbishment. Pity this hotel has lost its former glory!

Excellent service and my room was ready early so they let me check in. Very nice staff. Hotel is very run down however, and there were hairs all over the sheets and shower that weren’t mine.

The hotel is too old, size of the room fine, but the washroom is not good enough.
The bathtub is slippery and I slipped and hurt my head when I get into the bathtub. Besides, the floor in the bathroom is slippery too.
The window in 4/F, half of the window is covered by concrete, the building decoration, no window view. The window in 2/F is fine. The room has high ceiling, but the window is too small.
I’ve reserved 2 rooms, but they arranged one in 2/F, one in 4/F. Which makes us inconvenient to take care kids. They should aware it when we made the reservation.

A very good place to stay in Dundee. Our room was quite nice.

The hotel was being refurbished which was good to see. However this meant there was no catering available other than breakfast. The complimentary tea & coffee was not replenished during our stay which was surprising and disappointing. There seemed to be a skeleton staff on duty who tried to be helpful but did not provide a good experience. We were not told in advance that the hotel restaurant was closed and only found out at check in.

The hotel and the building is very old. The room was clean. But definitely needed updating. While the breakfast was small, it was very good. This is great for one or two nights stay, but I would not want to stay longer than that. The staff was excellent and very nice.

The view from our room, overlooking the Firth of Tay, was incredible. We could see all the way to the lighthouse at Tayport! Convenient to buses, restaurants, pubs, city center, etc. Staff was always friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for the Open at St Andrews and this was a convenient location. The room was outdated and in need of renovation but the location was excellent and the breakfast was solid.
