This place was awful from start to finish! We get to the hotel at 7pm and our rooms were not ready. The woman at the front desk told us their housekeeping staff was slow. She advised us to go have dinner and come back but when we returned at 10pm only some of the rooms in our group were ready. At first they told us to call hotels.com for a refund but then we were told they found an available room that was marked dirty but she assured us it was cleaned. NONE OF OUR ROOMS WERE CLEAN! We had hair all over the floor, dirt and sheets with old stains!! Outside of of our rooms looked and smelled like a project. All sorts of shady people hanging outside in the parking lot and in the hallways. We found out later that a halfway house and a correctional facility was nearby and sometimes they get the overflow. My room was saturated with the smell of marijuana. No towels, no toilet paper. There was just nothing good about this place!

Don’t ever risk staying here! Bugs, bed bugs and nasty rooms!! Service was horrible!

The room was not house kept well at all. The general manager was friendily took care of business. There was at least one roach in the room every night.

The check in and check out was excellent. The staff was very professional. The only disadvantage was, the room that the gave us was on the side of the building closer to the Hwy. and I couldn't sleep.

The photos of this motel on Hotels.com need to be removed. It’s not what motel looks like at all. It looks likes it’s been abandoned for years.

Stayed here on 6.8-7 overall review. Escapes here for hurri ane Milton, this place was disgusting and filthy! Roaches u dee and around the beds on 2nd flr..The place is old and doesnt need updates, needs to be torn down and start over. Motel 6 Ocala, yhey better leave the light off here, never again

There were dozens of cockroaches in the room. Also I asked for a fridge prior to check in and was told that it would be in the room. However there was no fridge when I checked in.

Overall we were comfortable we just needed a place to sleep and shower thank you for having us

Motel 6 in Ocala isn't good. I did reservation for 4 nights but, stayed only one night. The filter of air conditioner small mold, I can't sleep with the headache then in the morning I canceled the reservation and go to another place.

Had to wait for the attendant for about 15 minutes to come back from wherever however there was a sign up. Lady dressed extremely provocative before me that was walking in and out of the lobby bathroom told her needed a room key for a specific room #. The attendant made her the key without asking for a name or any identification and gave it to her. I was asked for my drivers license for identification. Our room #272 had bleach water all on the floor around both beds that had not been mopped up. We should have left then and asked for our money back but it was late and we were tired from our trip. I took a towel and got all the bleach water up. We will never stay here again.

When I arrived at the hotel the front desk lady was out side smoking. That doesn’t look good or professional at all. At check-in I was assigned a room that was out of order.

The lights were not turned on at 8:30pm for the second floor. Found 2 German roaches in room. Check in was a bombplast- woman could not get her crap together. Food/drink machine were not available from 10pm to 6am- locked in the lobby.

First, the management was good Second, the room was renovated, however: the problem with Severe ANTS is an issue!! Third, the clientele is less then Desirable!! Drunks, individuals arguing all night, dogs barking, odors from outside trash bins...

the pool is nice. Staff JP was attentive and willing to help Housekeeping was a mess. i did not get any service from them. Pillows and bed sheets are stained and with Mold.No Amenities in room.

Died bugs in the shower roof,roaches my sink was clog and my bathroom handle was broken went in told them like two hours later and then the man at the desk want to accuse me of it cause I didn’t go up right away. Talk to property manager she was great. Day I left there was died ants around sink. Didn’t even stay for the whole trip

Incant say it wasnt bad because it was. The staff were polite. Thenwoman at the front desk was very professional and took care of everything in a timely matter. Was nice and quite and and hardly any roft raft execpt for a homeless woman by the looks of it wondering around our whole stay talking to her self and using volgar language. As far as clean my girl freind felt the need to sweep and mop. Taking a trip to the store for her own supplies. The 5 swiffer pads from the room and bathroom, lets just say some one doesnt knownwhat elbow greese is. THE ROACHES we seen one or two right appon entry and the following day we had seen just how bad they are....behind the tv and beds. The light fixtures. Now we hadbto put the the bags in my truck because of the rain and ive seen 3 thus far in there and its only been a couple hours. Now what i have to pay and deal with this now?The bathroom counter still had toothpaste spittle spots on it and the counter.the shower she felt the need to scrub also and sanitized the entire room with bleach. Went and bought our own bedroom set for the bed because from what we had seen thus far we were not gonna sleep on the ones provided no matter what. And i am really tight on money right now so i coukdnt just go some were else after i had 200$ or more wrapped intona 2 night stay. I feel it was a terrible time for my hard earned money which ibhave to labor in thensun all day for. I dont even know what else to say

The hotel is very nice and the staff is very friendly and they helped me in everything, but they only went 4 times to clean and I stayed 2 and a half weeks

I was told the rm i paid for was not avail. And was charged $16 for another rm. Plus $100 deposit. I wasnt given directions to room which was "hidden" in the back of bldg. Check in person was very rude, and room has dead ants everyehere. Will not stay here again.
