Stayed for my Son's wedding, Hotel was full but was taken care of very well.

This is my favorite hotel to stay in when visiting Chicago! It is always clean, the staff are always friendly, the suites have so much room, the location is perfect, and the breakfast is the best I have ever had at a hotel. My one big compliant is the free drinks during happy hour. The line is so long, it is not worth standing in for a free drink. On our 2nd day there, we made sure to get back early for happy hour and decided to order food in. It was a complete waste, neither one of us wanted to stand in the long line to wait so we decided we would just pay for one when happy hour ended. That didn't work either as they closed the bar. There has to be a better way to make this happen. Maybe have drinks already made up a head of time? Also, our phone in our room did not work, so we had to go to the lobby every time we needed something. Our safe was not working so they told us security would be right up to look at it and no one showed. Even with these couple of small annoyances, the positives definitely outweigh any of those and I plan to stay here again the next time I am in the city.

We stood in line for 30 minutes for the check in. The young lady that helped us check in informed us that they just got new computers and updated their system. She apologized for the delay. She was very friendly and informative. We only stayed one night. The room was very spacious. The bed was very comfortable.

Stayed 4 nights. Asked for housekeeping halfway thru. They made the bed, emptied trash, and picked up used towels. Did not leave anymore towels, did not refill coffee, condiments or cups and didn't vacumn.

The hotel is very well organized, from checking in to breakfast. I was impressed! The hotel was extremely clean, my favorite thing. Everyone was super nice and so helpful, especially the man that helps with luggage at front desk. I love it there! The hotel location is great for downtown chicago

Close to everything
Decent for the family. Rooms were big enough to accommodate 6 of us. Breakfast was huge- one of the best I’ve seen. I didn’t eat breakfast but the options were there. Evening offered free drinks per guest
Just be weary about leaving your room after 9PM- as any other down town area.

Needed a spot for one night near mag mile. Have stayed at many of the hotels in this area. Though the room was not large, the overall experience has a larger feel than some of the older options in the area. Perfect for my needs.

Hotel is great for families at a really good price for downtown Chicago. I would recommend to ask for a higher floor though. Garbage trucks empty dumpsters at 5am every morning and the windows do not provide any noise reduction.

The beds pillows and even let out sofa were comfortable. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Two things to take note: there is $100 per night deposit required and the in/out valet parking is $80 per night not $18 as I was led to believe. Pretty steep when there is self parking less than a block away for half of that per day. Anyway the hotel was clean up to date and had a friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good!

Wow. First, upon check in we were provided keys to an occupied room. Yes…walked in on a guest! Then, there was ZERO toilet paper in the room. After calling the front desk, we waited 15 minutes until I got redressed to go down and get it from them before it became a toilet emergency. Didn’t make a complaint during the stay as the rest of our 3 nights were good enough. Then, I get my credit card statement and find that the hotel has charged us for our 3 night stay. WE HAD ALREADY PAID IN FULL THROUGH HOTELS.COM! We were told it was a “mistake”…to the tune of almost $900! Fine hotel but not even close to worth it!

Great stay. It was a perfect location for us, had great hot breakfast, and the pool was relaxing. Only con was I was not aware of the $100 per night security deposit. I knew of a security deposit, but I don’t recall it being a per night situation. If I had known upfront I would have felt better prepared.

Everything was perfect, except for the fact that the hotel's wifi system was out of service for three out of four days for European laptops. We had to resort to nearby cafes to send messages, make reservations, and check in for our flight. No apology from the management. From a hotel of this calibre, I never would have expected such treatment.

Room was clean as well as the entire hotel. The breakfast was really good and surprisingly large. The afternoon had two complimentary drinks and light appetizers. The only negative which is not hotels fault was the ambulances with sirens on a regular basis. We would definitely stay here again.

I requested in advance an adjoining room or conjoined room and it wasn’t granted nor did the staff seem to try and accommodate us. I’ve made a note when I purchased the room, I called, and also arrived at the hotel early to get the accommodations .

Check in was just awful. We waited in line for 34 minutes and then when we got up to the counter, Alma put her hand up and said “I’m not ready for you yet“. Another person eventually helped us and checked us in very quickly at that point. Apparently, they were going through a shift change at the front desk, and I told the man who eventually checked us in that simply telling us that piece of information would’ve been very helpful and perhaps we would have better understood. As it was, Alma was very rude and disrespectful to us.

The hotel was nice, food for breakfast was good, bartenders for the evening reception were great.
The internet in the hotel was not working and we were unable to work while there due to that. The staff never told us it was down when we asked multiple staff members at the desk and called, we even called their tech support number we were provided and no help. They needed to just tell us it was not going to work during our stay and stop giving out the login for new checkins.

I was told my valet charge would be one charge during the duration of my stay but upon check out I was charged double the price! No one tried to fix anything! I was just told “I don’t know who told you that but that information was incorrect!” The bathroom in my room had a toilet that ran all night!! No one cleaned my room while I was out so I had get my own towels and dispose of my own trash.

We booked a king size room They gave us a double and were not able to switch.they gave us a double and were able to switch. Room had a weird smell. There was no Shampoo or conditioner whenever I requested it, no one ever came. For what we paid for I don’t think it was worth it

The room with a king bed was a good size with an extra room that made it easy to work. The WiFi was inconsistent which was annoying but we worked with it for our short stay. The free breakfast which is hard to find, offers a good variety including good coffee.
