Amazing stay worth the money

The front desk staff is very friendly and willing to accommodate your request.

Overall, the stay was fantastic. The only drawback is when we returned to the hotel from a day site-seeing we without electricity in our room. Although the problem was a citywide issue, I would have assumed that the hotel's backup generator would have supplied electricity to the entire hotel and not just the front desk area. Despite that glitch my wife and I were still impressed with out stay and would definitely return.

This hotel is superb…from the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly and professional…our selected room was clean and very roomy…will definitely stay here again!

Grand hotel and so fancy even though crowded

Check in was fast and front staff is friendly. It’s just that when we tried to take a shower, we noticed that the shower knob was broken. We called the guest service twice and it took almost an hour for the workman to come up to fix it. You don’t expect this in a 5 star hotel. Other than some little issues, overall stay is comfortable and pleasant.

Local, have only been to the top of the Hyatt for drinks. Special place, great views. Large, double building layout can be intimidating. Rooms were good size, at least a corner unit with views was. Felt dated, well used, worn. Stayed one night. Check✅

Our first night was a sleepless one. Hotel security came twice but failed to remove unruly guests. Moved to same room type and comped our parking but it didn’t make up for that and the tired rooms. It’s time for an update for the interior and management apparently

This hotel is huge and it was a busy holiday weekend. Luckily we arrived at a time when the check in desk line only took about 10 mins, however, we saw some tremendously long lines going in and out of the hotel at other times. The room was nice enough and had a great view I paid extra for, but the bed was too firm for my liking and there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Amazing shower pressure and steam and no vent made the condensation literally stick to every surface in the room including the bathroom ceiling and even the glass night stands which took some time to clear and to me, poses a potential sanitation issue given how this could contribute to mold and mildew (and indeed there was a hint of that smell in our room initially). The iron in our room had been ruined with some caked on gunk that would have surely ruined some expensive clothes, but a call to the front desk fixed the issue and they brought a new replacement. Parking was also a hassle. This massive hotel doesn’t have nearly enough parking to service all the guest rooms on a busy weekend. It took a long time to find a spot when we could. Another time we had to valet park the car despite prepaying for self-parking. While they didn’t charge me a valet fee, tipping did add to the overall expense of parking. Overall, this hotel is fine if it’s not a busy weekend but personally, I’d stay at a smaller hotel for my next trip to San Diego.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Anyone we interacted with at the hotel was very kind and helpful, the location is fantastic, and our room was fantastic - a corner water view room...perfection! We enjoyed walking around Seaport Village and taking the ferry to Coronado Island. The only thing that was weird was the pool was very warm and loud on the weekend with the DJ. Oh well though - still a great stay!

The hotel is beautiful. It’s very close to the Seaport Village. We go out to drink coffee and dine with ocean view and nice breeze. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and plan to go back soon.

Awesome location next to the Bay and Navy Vessels!

The staff was so polite as soon as I walked through the doors. I was so pleased with the nearby shops and walkabilty of the hotel. I felt safe and the room was so comfortable and clean. Plenty of seating in the room and the water pressure in the shower was great.

We were able to check in early, but were not offered an upgrade. The hotel is in a great location, overall good although carpet in corridors and bathroom need updating. We would certainly return.
