It was nice, sketchy people around area but the hotel was clean and people were nice and wasn’t crowded but it is off season

I’ve always loved our stay, the employees are very nice. Restaurant is pricey. The balcony wasn’t opened and this is a big deal to us. We look forward to listening to the ocean. I hope to stay again if the balconies are opened

The major problem with the hotel is the construction for the renovation. That wouldn’t have been a problem if someone would have thought about it before hand. The hotel was pretty empty and we were placed right below a renovation. I mean I get if it was packed but from the cars in the lot and all the amenities running with 1 person. I doubt there were more than 50 people. Poor placement and strategies when doing the Reno. There was no need for the room to be under a room getting Reno’d

Beautiful views, clean.

The hotel was very comfortable with excellent views of the ocean. Ben who worked both the front desk and pool bar was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked an extra night. Only issue was the balconies were closed. I may have overlooked that when booking.

We had a relaxing time in this beautiful ocean front. We were told we couldnt use the balconies and agreed to move forward on the reservation. When we arrived the view was breathtaking and we wished we could have been able to sit outside.

The balcony’s where under construction the view was still good but their corner balcony’s have the best view in Brevard county I was advised at check in that we wouldn’t be able to use the balcony as they where under construction the host advised I should have gotten a email regarding this matter but I didnt that’s not the hotels fault over all I love this hotel it’s clean and staff is always friendly just wish they would have fixed the issues with the balcony’s before my stay

Very nice hotel, been going there for years now. Very nice staff, nice little restaurant and nice clean pool. Beach is great and the best thing of all is that every room faces the ocean.

Unfortunately, this property is still dealing with the post Covid downturn. Compounding this the balconies at the site have been condemned and the dining services that are offered are at a minimum. Despite this the staff were very personable and trying very hard to make the best of the situation.

The staff at the hotel were friendly, knowledgeable and customer orientated. The hotel was clean and had beautiful views of the ocean. I stayed at this property 30 years ago and I would say it has not had an renovation since then. It was very minimal, no outlets (beside behind the bed and tv) or clocks in bedroom. The balconies were condemned (they had called us in advance to tell us) so we could not enjoy the beautiful sunrises from our balconies. Until they do some of these renovations, I believe the hotel rates should match the amenities.

I got a balcony room but when I got there I was told that the balconies were not able to be accessed. I also paid thru Hotels.com and when I arrived they charged me for the room when I had already paid

Air conditioner is loud. I've been in the cargo hold of a C-130 before (4 propeller military plane) and it was a similar experience. So yeah. Room condition was 2 star beach rating at best. But the beach was nice and semi private. The view from the room was great (even without a functioning balcony) Note that the hotel sits next to a dog park so if you hate dogs there are hundreds of dogs nearby almost always. We don't, but just an FYI. One great thing was the staff. Always very friendly and helpful. 10/10 for service. 3/10 for most everything else.

We like the ocean view from the room and on the front you can see the entire city. It was relaxing, enjoyable, and peaceful. The food in the surrounding areas was amazing and good price. The only thing we did not like was the pina colada brought at the hotel because it did not taste like pina colada. Among the ingredients, it needs to have piña in it and it did not.

Our room was covered in ants. The air handler in the hotel room sounded like an airplane engine all night long and the sink was literally cracking and disconnecting from the wall. Bathtubs were clogged. Couldn’t even take a shower without it filling up the staff did give us a new room, but didn’t offer any other recompense

The fan in the bathroom didn't work. De core in room old. I paid to have a balcony to go out on and after checking in was told it is non accessible. Other guest were out on the balconies and nothing was done. Would like a partial refund.

To start is our favorite place to relax the rooms have a beautiful view to the beach the customer service is outstanding I highly recommend this hotel

Very nice and relaxing. Pool and food were good.

The parking was good and the facilities were also great. However, the noise level in the room is very loud due to the air conditioning and the construction.

Disappointed the balconies were closed and no microwaves or broom in room however the other amenities certainly made up for it. The view from rooms and the sound of the waves were amazing! Beach was beautiful with dolphin and sea turtle sightings and NOT crowded. Couldn’t have asked for better staff or poolside bartender. I have found my happy place and will definitely return.

I read lots of mixed reviews but my experience was wonderful. First and foremost the staff was wonderful. From front desk to little cafe. The room was huge. Yes it was a bit old but spotless and smelled great. Yes the ac was loud but it worked great. If you close the bedroom doors you can’t hear it much. I was able to use the balcony and the view was stunning. I feel for the cost and not to mention I only booked 24 hours before checking in it was perfect.

This is by far the worst experience we have ever had at a hotel. The room looked like an old dingy utility closet that smelled of mildew and mold. Due to the mildew and mold my husband’s asthma was triggered. I myself developed a headache within about an hour. Sleeping in this room was difficult not only because of the issues listed above, it was also due to the extremely loud AC system that was in a closet on the other side of the bed. I would like to add, I am Someone with severe hearing loss and it was still loud enough to wake me. I did turn it off. Unfortunately given the current weather in Florida the room got quite hot very fast further irritating my husbands breathing. The pipes to the shower are quite loud and rattle. By morning, both of us were struggling with sinus issues and headaches and extremely tired for the lack of sleep. That was our first and only night at this hotel. We will not be returning . This hotel is old, overpriced, and is in need of major renovations. I would not recommend staying here.

Would have been nice to kno you couldnt use the balconies that you pay for. The AC'sare old noisy ascwell. The view was amazing!!

Rooms are cleaned well and spacious. House keeping takes pride compared to other places near by. The view was amazing from the room, the pool pump went down while we were there and it was handled quickly, they had it back up and running in a few hours! There was another situation that was handled professionally while we were there nothing to do with the hotel itself. I will say they care about there guest 100% !

The rooms are spacious and clean, the balconies were closed during our stay but the views are beautiful. The hotel is right on the beach and has a nice pool.

The door to the room wouldn’t shut closed unless we pushed it closed when we left or pull it shut when we came in. The light switches didn’t work. There was no easy way to charge the phones. Had to change my phone in the bathroom. The AC was so loud, the bed was so hard the pull out couch bed was better. The pool was closed and they staff didn’t seem to care. Couldn’t use the balcony it was closed. We was celebrating me beating cancer. When told that to the staff it was like no big deal. Staff just wasn’t friendly, it was like they didn’t care. Then mentioned several times this hotel was booked through a third party. What does that matter they got the payment. We checked out a day early and went to another hotel.

The stay was decent. They did not alert before booking that the balconies are condemned and not able to be occupied. Also everything seems to close early as far as poolside service and food so if you like to hang out late you may want to venture downtown or to a nearby restaurant. The staff was super nice and you can tell they were a little overwhelmed but they handled things well considering. The rooms are a little dated but it was clean. This is right on the beach so the sunrise is amazing and you can see sunset from the outside of your room on the other side if you have one of the rooms like that. The beach wasn’t over crowded after the 4th weekend so it was comfortable. The pool was nice but didn’t have anyone there on a Sunday morning so not sure if they were short of staff or cleaning but again, maybe shortage of workers. I’d definitely stay again, hopefully the balconies will be clear to sit by then but even if not. It was worth it.

Balcony was inaccessible which made the price of the stay to expensive

I rented the room to have the balcony and was told when I got there that the balcony were condemned and we weren't allowed to use them. Then they should reduce the price at least half for not having the balcony. That's why I rented the room, for the balcony.

Customer service was excellent. Location was great; family friendly environment. Pool wasn’t clean and hotel decor was outdated/ rusty. Although we were notified, use of the balcony was restricted for the 4th of July weekend. Overall experience was good.
