Pentahotel is a great option for a place to stay in Vienna. The atmosphere is very comfortable and modern and the location is in a very nice quiet neighborhood in the city. Easy access to bus and convienent shops as well as places to eat. The staff are extremely helpful and quick to respond to any needs or questions. When I requested the use of an iron and ironing board for my room, it was delivered very promptly. I also loved the bath products, body wash and shampoo smelled fantastic! This was my fourth time staying there and I would definitely go back again.

Very nice place, clean and great location

The hotel is a little “retro” and about half an hours walk from Vienna central, which didn’t bother us as we enjoy walking. However, Vienna has a very efficient underground metro system and the nearest station is only 3 mins from the hotel. We stayed on a B&B basis, and I defy any one to say there wasn’t anything they could eat from the buffet, there was a varied choice & plenty of it to start your day. The only drawback for me was that I’m a little over cautious and there wasn’t a safe in your room, but we padlocked our suitcases & there wasn’t any issue. Staff were very welcoming, helpful & approachable & sent me an email before we arrived providing details how to get to the hotel from the airport. As stated, the metro system is extremely efficient and affordable, with day tickets allowing unlimited travel on the whole transport system within Vienna for approx €8 for 24 hrs, €13 for 48hrs & $18 for 72hrs, all of which u can get from the ticket machine at the airport or any metro station. All in all, Vienna is a beautiful city & I would have no hesitation in recommending the Pentahotel to visitors.

Friendly and helpful staff. Ok location with 3-4 nice pubs/restaurants nearby. Information about the hotel in hotels.com says restaurants in the hotel but there were no possibility to get a meal except breakfast. The breakfast was good.

Pleasant stay easy to get to public transport which is a bonus , breakfast was nice , only negative was the room size was on the small side and it had 2 singles which we had to push together

The wardrop isnt close, its open to dust. No eny extra equipment such as kettle, iron, shaving , teeth-brush, refrigerator, water or some drinks.

The entire stay was wonderful. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Staff was very kind and accommodating. If anything I can recommend is for the hotel to getting rid of all the pillows. I had 4 pillows that turned into flat as a pancake which made it uncomfortable to sleep and my last night i just decided to use my airplane neck pillow. Would have been nice to have a refrigerator in the room to store my left over food and chill my drinks. Everything else was just fine.

A good hotel for the price, including breakfast, which was a good variety of hot and cold food. The room I stayed was in itself clean, as was the bathroom, but the curtains in particular could do with a clean (I think this is because they are white so the dirt shows up)! I would stay again as it is a convenient location

Nice, though a bit expensive, property relatively close to the Hauptbahnhof, but not within walking distance. Has a kind of 1960s retro vibe to it, but having survived the 1960s, I am not sure this is a welcome decorating motif as far as I am concerned.

For the price paid and the size of the room with breakfast at Christmas, I was very impressed, we did upgrade to a slightly bigger room, but the cost of minimal.

Room and hallways dark. Gave unsafe feeling. In room so lowlightingn that felt like it was dusk. Walls and carpet needed attention. Wallpaper was buckled. Strange configuration in hallway.

Very comfortable bed mattress, the sheets rustle a little, clean bathroom. Big and yummy breakfast. The employees don't notice you, if you don't need nothing it's ok. At all, it was nice stay.

The carpets, the drapes and the pillows need to be changed. The room was smelly.

good: I stayed for 6 nights. The hotel is close to transportation, bus stops and no far from de Underground green line and Neighborhood is nice and safe . The hotel It’s clean and the staff are amicable. The rooms are nice, a little small but clean with good furniture. They offer breakfast buffet with additional cost. The bad: For my bad luck the a/c not working at all, the room on the first floor it was very hot during the day. I can’t stay for rest or work in my computer. The offer me a crappy portable fan that run with a lot of noise. Night time was a little better because the temperature was lower. But with open windows a could not sleep for the outside noise specially on the weekend. Overall, it’s a nice hotel if you stay for 3 nightie or less. The breakfast it was decent but limited compared to 3stars hotels in Spain, UK , Norway or Germany in my experience. The menu is the same every day, very limited in food choices without cava/champagne or other goodies. The a/c situation was intolerable. They offer me a drink but, Who can work or sleep in a dry sauna?? Only excuses that they were waiting for the technician. But six nights?? Other guest also complained with me but were staying only few nights.
