Lovely stay. Has a very tropical feel.

A total vibe. I enjoyed the style and layout of the hotel. The rooftop bar and pool were a great addition. Unfortunately, there were some hiccups. The housekeeping was odd. The first day, I came back to it seemingly unfinished. There was a cloth laying in the middle of the bed, food items for the minibar on the desk. On the second day, they didn't refresh the water or tea. The last day they knocked several times, even though it was well before checkout. It was also hard to get enough water. The room is lovely but is so dark.

I spent 4 nights in an Eden Studio at the Mayfair House Hotel & Garden which first opened in 1985, and reopened in September 2022 after a thorough renovation. Kenneth Treister’s architectural marvel lends to a tropical oasis experience including expansive interior gardens, fountains, a rooftop bar and pool and private terrace suites with outdoor showers - all in the heart of Coconut Grove. Highly recommended for anyone looking for something different, special and unique in South Miami.

I always enjoy my stay at the Mayfair as a repeat visitor I’m never disappointed. The updated layout adds even more personality to your stay. The private balcony, separation from the rest of the guests is just what is needed for a romantic getaway. If you come here you don’t really need to go much further tbh. Having a rental is a bonus if you must go to the beach however the rooftop vibes are just my speed. Lots of nearby restaurants as well as on site to provide variety and proximity. The aesthetic is everything all in all I give the resort a five star rating and am telling you that if you are looking for a place to relax and reset this is the one!!!!

1- As we were going to the room, the elevator got stuck between the first and second floor. We were there for 10 mins. The elevators have a a weird system where inside you don’t press buttons, but you do it in the lobby and you take the elevator that the system tells you. It’s great to have new technology but very inconvenient and frustrating. 2- On the second day, there was no electricity in the morning, and therefore we woke up with no A/C and other inconveniences. 3- On the third day there were no clean towels. They blamed it on the electricity outrage, but still… No towels in a hotel of this category? 4- There were supposed to be a minibar with snacks and drinks, which it wasn’t but they installed one on our second day. 5- There were supposed to be slippers available in the room, therefore we didn’t bring flip flops. Slippers were not available. 6- From the two restaurants that they advertise immensely, one of them had a private party for two days , or two private parties two days, who knows, and not only we could not eat there but also they could not do room service either. The other restaurant didn’t have a menu interesting enough. They only had like 3 or 4 things as main course. However, even though we had all these inconveniences, the staff tried their best to accommodate us and gave us credits for everything we went through. We even got a late check out on our last day and a few other perks. Though I appreciate all these efforts I would not recommend this hotel.

Check in was a breeze! Very nice hotel- feels like a resort in the Caribbean! The lobby smells great and the common areas are very welcoming. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is nice and clean. We enjoyed a good breakfast at the hotel and the rooftop pool is very nice with a great bar. The parking is extremely expensive - I used the valet but it’s $46 per day… just park across the street. Overall a great stay!

The property was so beautiful & the room was exquisite. It felt like an oasis.

Overall beautiful property. However, service and communication was sub par. Room decor was an expected 80’s feel but worn, tattered, and dusty. Hotel ran out of coffee day two, big deal for someone like myself. Rooftop venue was closed due to a private party. Expectations were higher for a premium suite.

The place looks beautiful, and I like the smell in the lobby. The reason I will give it 4 instead of 5 stars is I wish there was more amenities in the room we booked. Like a microwave or spacious fridge. Overall great experience

Great location, nice hotel. I was not thrilled with the fact that the outside shower, you had to hold it to keep it on, plus the water was coooold! So i didnt use it as much as i thought i would. I liked the hotel, the green room color not so much.

Recently renovated hotel, friendly staff, amenities clean. Walkable, safe and quiet.

Pretty hotel. Good location. Pool was small. Pool bar had great food. Room was large, clean, but walls were very thin. Could hear everything in the hallways late at night & early mornings.

Love the open air mezanine, plants the unique archival and design features, such a gem of a hotel! My only complaint, the shower was not hot, both days, even when showering late at night.

Excellent service! David was phenomenal. He sure made me and my fiancé feel welcomed. We upgraded to the honeymoon suite thanks to David. Worth every penny. We truly enjoyed our staycation. Rooftop bar was a nice treat. The hotel itself is beautiful. Staff were all great! Food was excellent at the restaurant. Highly recommend staying here. One small little feedback, we gave a 4 for cleanliness due to the gold confetti laying under the tub. The housekeeper needs to make sure they check every spot when cleaning. But other than that, highly recommend.

Wonderful boutique hotel, friendly staff. We had an extended stay and it felt like a second home. Had an upgrade to a larger room with garden and sitting area. Will always come back!

This is not my first time visiting this hotel...it has been improving to a new level. Super comfortable, great staff, good vibe and perfect location. Now they are creating a new restaurant to enhance your stay.
