Their pool was unexpectedly closed, which was disappointing for my daughter. The walls in the room had multiple damaged spots in the drywall like someone punched the walls.

The pool was not open. I didn’t see anyone in the bar, although I heard it was supposed to be open at 4.

So i reserved this room about a week prior to when id be checking in. Both the hotels website AND Expedia's site said there was a pool. Checkin day comes, we get all the way down there and theres a sign on the door saying pool was closed!! Thank you for understanding... understanding?? Not so much when ive got a 9 & 7 yr old looking forward to it!! After poking around in reviews, i see others saying the same thing. When you look/pay for certain amenities, you fully expect to be able to use them. Neither the hotels or Expedia's website mentioned a pool closure. Id have never booked if there wasnt a pool.

Clean and convenient to what i was doing.

Hotel was in a nice location for me to get to everything I needed and was reasonably priced. Staff was nice on entry. Room was clean when I got there, fridge and drawers, lighting was good, by the closet was a tad dark but not an issue. Nice look in the room with a “rustic” feel. Stayed for three nights (saw the cleaning staff going into the rooms while we were leaving and they missed our room. Next day same thing. Third day I asked the person at the front if we could at least get some new towels and the garbage taken out and they said absolutely and wrote them a note too. Got back five hours later and never happened. There’s a comunal microwave on each floor which lead to bad smells in the hall ways as they too gets missed on cleaning. Overall an okay stay, beds and pillows comfy. Pool wasn’t open but wasn’t going to use it anyways. Still a good stay but the small things add up.

The property was not bad at all. It was 3 things that really bothered me. 1) They closed the pool at 5pm on the Friday when we arrived. According to them the pool at a leak. This was not the fact. They did not want to clean the pool while being sold out for the whole weekend with all the concerts. 2) 1 Staff member was horribly rude to us. Our fridge was not working and he told us he couldn't do anything for us and that he hates his job. 3) Our fridge was broken - Took 2 days for them to switch the fridge over after being told they couldn't do anything for us. The hotel was nice but these things really did effect our stay.

The hotel is ok for the price and they did a god job with decor and reno (missed on the ceilings). Lowered my ranking because of wifi - not only it did not work, it was especially annoying as the website for the hotel states how important wifi ranked for the guests. We had 4 phones - iphone and 3 android phones, 2 mac computers, an ipad and nothing was connecting to the wifi. The front desk person was not helpful. The tech guys need to take a look at their network security settings - we just could not get to the sign in page. The iphone finally got connected and we used its hot spot but come on, we shouldn't need to work so hard to get a wifi in a hotel.

Pool was closed due to chemical imbalance but was not notified. The site also said they had a restaurant but also closed down… The beds were hard, it was noisy due to a party and the rooms looked like they tried to ball on a budget skimped in materials and worker quality.. Unless you are in a pinch, I highly do not recommend…!!!!!!

It was very clean, but very outdated and old. Needs paint, new sheets, coffee in lobby was out of order . Staff was great! Price to high for condition of hotel.

Room was awesome

The remodel/decor was adorable but you could still tell that it was an old building that was redecorated to look more modern. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling off and the toilet was super low. Other than that, we had a great stay. The bed was comfy and the king room was spacious. We would stay here again.

Decent location for our visit to Harriet Island for a 2 day music festival, but this hotel needs some love. Shower was moldy on the ceiling and fan didn’t work. Room was not clean. Surfaces were not dusted, baseboards were dirty, and bedspread was not clean. Lobby is very nice, but house cleaning isn’t up to par.

This place is definitely a work in progress. Nice to see them trying to fix it up, but not worth the money in comparison to hotels that are already fresh, clean, and in far better condition.

The staff were amazing. They were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and comfortable.

Run down hotel, not clean (hair on towels, floor, bedding), carpet in room very stained, stains on wall, dead bugs on floor under arm chair. Hallway reeked of pot both days we were there. Pool was out of order. Outside of hotel - nearly every tree is dead, parking lot is in terrible condition, handicapped spots aren’t really marked at all, long term residents (there clearly are several!) were hanging out at all hours. The only positive was the very friendly staff working the front desk. I would never stay here again!

The rooms were cutely decorated, but the property is old and not in the safest part of town. The staff seemed to be poorly trained town deal with problems. We were ther for four nights and only saw housekeeping once. We will not stay there again.

Bed bugs in room 407.. just a warning. We saw them immediately and headed back down. Was given refund without questions.

The pictures look great but the renovations must be at least a few years old. The walls had scuff marks, the carpets in the room and hallway had stains, and the place had a musty damp smell in general. The stock photo of the king room had a couch. My room had a small blue chair instead and definitely wouldn’t have slept 3. There was no water in the room for the keurig even though the description says free bottled water. There was also no daily housekeeping and the mattress in my room was shot. There was absolutely no support and you could feel the springs. It’s also pretty sketchy around it. There were homeless people by the rear entrance and what appeared to be people living in their car in the rear parking lot. If I had it to do over again, I’d have spent another 20 bucks a night and stayed at a mainstream place that I knew….

Didn’t notice that there wasn’t a hottub so that was a bummer, and the pool was very cold. But overall the room was decent and location was where I needed to be

It was fine except the following: no microwave in the room no laundry, no continental breakfast, wifi not working properly, no business center. These are things I am accustomed to when traveling on business.
