Key card took two or three times to work each time. TV stopped working. They quickly replaced it, but we could only get one channel on that TV.

For being in downtown Sioux Falls, and for the price, we kind of expected a nicer facility. The hotel as a whole was run down and out dated. It just felt kind of dingy. Our hotel room door was also broken and we had to make sure that we pulled/pushed it shut really good before leaving or staying in. The parking situation was a mess too, there are only about 20 parking spots on the hotel property. We had to go to the adjacent parking lot that the hotel leased spaces from. Our room was meh. The beds were rock hard and uncomfortable. The tv didn’t worked half the time either.
The location though was great. The breakfast lady was fantastic and so kind. She made everyone feel at home and made sure the breakfast area was always stocked.

Our stay was nice! Room was clean, nice size, only issue we had was with a random slow draining toilet and lack of face towels.

Will NEVER stay here again. 2 nice people in the place. One checked me in and the other was the person running the breakfast. Otherwise rude.
LOCATION: quite a few homeless walking next and through the hotel parking lot. At 75 and alone I didn't feel safe outside. They have a few signs but no one seems to really care.
ROOM: 403 Don't let me put you in there until they put in a new bed and fix the floor. Smelled and floor uneven on way to bathroom.
BED: WORST I HAVE EVER HAD and I travel very frequently staying in a variety of hotel rooms. It had so many lumps, (thinking springs) that I got about an hour of sleep THEN I sat up in a chair.
LINENS: Sheets were great !!!! Otherwise would have received only 1 star. Bedcovering, old and needs to be replaced. Pillows were OK !
BREAKFAST: Standard free breakfast available. It had a variety and staffed by one nice lady. Serve yourself style and food was good!
PARKING: Hotel was not full so had decent parking ! But if busy not sure where they would have you park.
OLD AND TIRED HOTEL !!! I would never recomend.

Staff made us feel like a burden except the breakfast attendant. She welcomed us as her guests. The floor boards in our room were horribly loud, wasn’t sure if we were going to fall through. Coffee and plastic cups looked like that hadn’t been used in quite awhile so should be thrown out. The location of the hotel was great due to closeness of the falls and great walking areas. Glad we only stayed one night.

The property is a bit run down. The elevator is slow and tiny, the stairway carpet had a lot of stains and the walls were dirty. The pool area was clean but the pool was not; there were white things floating in the water.
Our room was clean but very noisy. You could hear the people upstairs walking around and there was a lot of noise from the hallways. You could also pick up all the noise from the street the street. There was a train horn blaring periodically. It was also hard to regulate the temperature in the room.
If you’re a light sleeper, then this might not be the best hotel for you.

Average to poor hotel. Carpets were dirty, extremely small sink area for 2 people, beds were horribly uncomfortable, pool bottom looked like it needed scrubbed, whole inside from walls to carpet needed an upgrade.

The excellent location belies the poor condition of the hotel. It needs renovation to upgrade the carpeting and rooms. The toilet in our room did not work despite use of a plunger twice. The staff was not very pleasant.

We had made reservations for 4 nights for our grandsons wedding in Sioux Falls.i looked up the reviews the night before we left and read that it stunk like sewer and wet dog at times. Our room did stink like sewer and our toilet would flush on its own. The morning we left two workers opened our room door and said oh so sorry. We did
Not know this room would be rented. They said they were working on the plumbing and had to make a lot of noise cutting off part of the wall to get to the pipes to fix the flushing toilet and the smell. We had not complained so it must have been from previous visitors. I am wondering why they would rent that room for 4 nights when the knew it had a problem and that they would be that early Monday morning to work on it.

When checking in front desk manager was rude and not helpful. My reservation for a suite was canceled and I was not offered the courtesy of any type of upgrade at all. I felt I was treated shabbily by the check-in manager.. I was downgraded a room, but there was no price adjustment at all even though the manager said there would be a price adjustment. I was very disappointed in my room and how I was treated upon checking in. It will be a long time before I come back to that hotel again.

My floor was not level. I could put a bottle on the floor and it could roll downhill. The room above mine was occupied and I could hear every little thing dropped on the floor and when people walked across the room I was afraid they were coming through their floor/my ceiling. Staff was nice but hotel hallway carpet was filthy.
