Rooftop room with wrap-around balcony and spectacular view of the city and the Parthenon. The rooftop restaurant was superb. Too cool to swim in the pool, but on a hot day it would be quite nice.

Amazing location, the metro is within steps of the hotel. We never felt unsafe walking around even at night. Lots of little places to eat around the area. The hotel is clean and the room decent size, we had 3 adults with a rollaway bed. Our room faced the center roundabout but the windows were well insulated and we could not hear anything outside. Breakfast was super tasty with so many options! The hop on/hop off bus stops right there, added bonus!

The pool area was amazing the food was amazing service was great

Hotel is a good four star hotel clean rooms, nice pool and restaurant, good AC bed was comfortable. Breakfast generic it caters to bus loads and there will be tour groups here. Main drawback it is a run down area with nothing around to see, no restaurants or typical Greek neighborhood. It takes a 8 $ Uber to get to center area so we did that each day. The place is ok for 1-2 days but a longer stay o would recommend the other side of center Athens by plaka.

The standard bed and breakfast was average . The roof top breakfast we paid an additional 10 euros extra for was fantastic.

We loved that the hotel had a swimming pool and roof terrace. We paid extra to have a view of the Acropolis but we we hadn’t as it meant our room was on the 8th floor right below the restaurant/pool and sun terrace. This meant that everytime someone moved a chair upstairs it was really noisy in our room. Also our room was next to the stairwell so it was very noisy as people came and went from/to upstairs. The hotel was a comfortable walk from downtown Athens and had some good restaurants nearby. Totally recommend the imhouse restaurant, the Mousakka was amazing!

From the moment we arrived, we had smiles and kindness. Small welcome chat from the staff. We arrived a day early for a tour and were able to keep our room that we booked for the pre night. Also they gifted us a bottle of champagne for our anniversary. So kind and it was in our room when we didn’t expect it at all.

The hotel was clean and modern. Staff provided excellent service. The food from Cloud 9 was fantastic! We loved the rooftop restaurant and pool, even though the pool was a bit too cold. Our room had everything we needed. The only negative was the small awkward shower.

The hotel is very good- the rooms, the service, the breakfast, the cleanliness apart from its location, As much as it is considered located in the city center, it is still close to a homeless area, which means that at night it is scary to walk around

Pretty good location, walkable to restaurants. Great property with a lovely rooftop pool! You can see the Acropolis from there! Breakfast was underwhelming... like a 3 star American breakfast. Plenty of options, but quality is like grocery store stuff. We went once, then went out for breakfast after that. Lots of groups stay there, service is excellent, can book tours there and the hopon hop off stop is right there... and metro stop is right there.

The Stanley is amazing. Fantastic hotel. Great rooftop, great staff, concierge, bellman, everything. The room was spacious. The bed was comfortable. The curtains were actually good at blocking out sun too! We just couldn’t avoid the European noise (cars, police, some other rooms restrooms, hallway, rooms nearby even) but otherwise it was fantastic. Rooftop is beautiful!

Staff is amazing there. Had no issues. Hot water all the time high. The breakfast was great. The rooftop bar is great. A great view of Acropolis at night

Convenient to metro

Such a great location for tourists, everything is within walking distant and if you didn’t want to walk to the metro station is right next to the hotel and everything was a few stops away!! Staff was friendly and room was always air conditioned and clean coming home from a long day of doing activities! Breakfast came with our room and it honestly had a little bit of everything for everyone, overall really good. Totally reccommend!

Great location and wonderful staff. The roof top pool/ restaurant were well worth it

Had a great stay - 2 adults and 2 kids. We stayed 6 nights. Best greek salad at the roof top Restaurant - great roof top, Pool, bar and breakfast buffet. Only downside- slight distance from Main tourist areas- but about a 15 walk, So would walk. Area around is not in tourist area.

Great hotel

This hotel was the noisiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in, marble floors and the scraping of furniture above upset me causing me very little sleep, not very happy for the 4 nights spent there

Amazing!

Ask for room 900 you won’t be disappointed… We checked in and we’re absolutely shocked at both the room and the amenities… You need to stay more than one night to appreciate this facility!! We had been traveling for 14 days and this was our last evening, sadly too short.

Nice hotel and great service

The Stanley Hotel was great. I loved the rooftop pool, bar, and restaurant. The staff have great customer service skills and make sure you have a quality experience. Another pro was that my room was clean and there was always staff to offer fresh shower towels. The only con I have for the Stanley is its location. The location is in a not so desirable part of Athens. It does not feel safe to walk around in The Stanleys nearby vicinity. I found myself taking taxis to nearby restaurants and bars. Walking would be semi-far and not quite safe. Overall I would rate the Stanley a 8 out of ten stars.

The Stanley is beautiful! Well lit, well kept and safe! The surrounding area was considered unsafe, and there are quite a few homeless in the area. The police were visible during the day, and we walked around the area at 3am (we couldn't sleep, due to time difference), and we eere not bothered, there was nobody outside. There were two places to eat still open, and the bakery around the corner was open, so we grabbed some delicious desserts. The Stanley rooftop dining, phenominal breakfast buffet, view of Acropolis, and wonderful staff made this an exceptional trip.

Great hotel, area a bit sketchy but 20 min walk from city center. Amazing rooftop

We chose to stay in The Stanley because of the roof top pool and it did not disappoint. The pool and roof top dining was excellent with the added advantage of a view of the Acropolis. All staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. There was a metro station directly outside the hotel that was safe and clean to use and the hop on hop off bus also stopped immediately outside. Walking in the blocks surrounding the hotel did not feel safe but I would not let that put me off staying at The Stanley again.

Great hotel however the water in the pool is very cold and not sure why when the temperature is 35. It is like they chill the pool. The area is very run down and a couple blocks away are drug users shooting in on the street. Seems kind of safe but not really. Breakfast is great however they need to police the people saving lounges with a towel.

I would recommend the Hotel. Location, room and service was great.
