Went for a girls weekend to visit Bentlyville in Duluth. Everything was great. Comfy room and beds with a view of the water. Duluth is right across the bridge, only a 10-15 minute drive. The few minute extra drive is well worth it to save $$$ on the room in comparison to a similar room in Duluth. Their bar also has reasonable prices.

We enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed the hot tub after a long days drive. Loved the marina nearby and our view of the water. Only negative was the people sitting and standing at the front entrance smoking.

The property could use some updates for sure. I had an issue with my tv and the woman that came to check on it accused me of doing something to the tv. She wasn’t very friendly. I probably wouldn’t book here again.

Very nice hotel on barkers island, view of Lake Superior and a marina. Room was satisfactory. Comfortable bed , nice view Nice indoor pool and hot tub . Restrauant and bar at hotel were very nice . Great staff . Good food

Very friendly staff. Easy check in. The surrounding area is beautiful. Had a simple breakfast with the best hashbrowns ever. The room was clean and the bathroom could use a good floor scrub. Very spacious king size room.

I wanted to like this stay more than I did. I don't travel much and don't really care about decor or if things seem "dated." It was fine... except the air conditioning was set to 60 degrees when we arrived. Being August and that we were leaving again right away, we simply turned it off, but it was still uncomfortably cold the whole time. Also, the alarm clock went off at 12am and 12:15am and I ended up having to unplug it so I could sleep. Aside from these things I would have rated it great - but they were incredibly frustrating and kinda ruined it for me!

The staff was friendly, both check in staff and servers in the restaurant. I had the best omelet and toast! There is a nice walking path convenient to the hotel.
The rooms are dated and desperate for an update. The bathroom in particular could use attention.

Hotel was very clean but somewhat dated. But it was quiet and the staff was friendly. We ate at the restaurant, the food was good, but the service was very slow considering there were only a handful of groups seated. Overall good experience.

I was here on business. It was quiet and comfortable. Allowed me to get the work done and relax after and even while doing it. There is a restaurant on the property and a bar. Outdoor seating is also available.

Overall a pretty good place to stay , staff were all very nice and helpful. Food and drink were good. Pool area was clean and stocked with towels and plenty of tables to sit at.
The rooms were pretty decent, but could use more places in the bathroom to hang towels or pretty much anything, along with some sort of a counter to put bathroom items on.
The bathroom being my only real complaint I would recommend this hotel.

Wonderful staff and the pool area is terrific and handicap friendly. The restaurant was not opened the evening we stayed, but looked great. We did buy breakfast there the next morning, and the view of the marina from our table was pristine.

Duluth and Superior and the hotel location are great, the room not so much. The sink didn’t drain and it was just really outdated for the cost. The pool and hot tub looked nice but we were too busy exploring the area to take time for that. Definitely way overpriced for how old the rooms are, however the beds were comfy!

The air conditioning in my room didn’t work properly; it was warm and humid the whole time even though it seemed to be giving off cool air?? The room smelled somewhat moldy as well. Definitely needs an upgrade!

The sinks and showers are outdated and too low for a 6’ adult. No hand soap in sink area (empty bottle). In general after staying periodically over 3 decades, it needs updates.
