The front desk clerk made me feel very welcome Monday night at 7:15 PM. I think his name was Doug very professional.

Enjoyed the pool and sauna. The popcorn and cookies in the evening. Nice touch with the lemon and cucumber water in the lobby. Very comfortable beds. Liked the lotions and shampoo in the bathroom.

It’s good and average. The room was a bit stuffy but good thing the windows open to let in fresh air. No trash can was in the room only in the bathroom. Breakfast was super good! Biscuits and gravy!!! Coffee was awesome too! Oh yea pets are now allowed so if you are allergic to pets might want to choose a different hotel.

The gentleman working the front desk very friendly, helpful, nice and polite made checking in great! Have stayed here several times and have always been impressed with the hospitality and service. We will be back!

The rooms definitely need a deep cleaning. Very dusty and dirty. Giant blood like stain on carpet, not sure what it was. The shower head sprayed water everywhere outside the tub. Beds were comfy, overall a decent stay. But definitely needs some upgrading and cleaning. Breakfast was good. Location is awesome.

Older hotel, in disrepair, filthy rooms. Requested housekeeping twice. They emptied the trash once, and never made beds, vacuumed, or anything. Bugs in room from broken window screen. Toilet hadn’t been cleaned before we stayed (stains in bowl and on side of toilet) Nope. All the nopes. Just pay the extra for a better hotel and save yourself the gross factor.

The beds were comfy, pillows nice. Pretty old property, rooms need updated. I honestly wasn’t sure if one bed was clean or not so we just used one. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest either. Pretty noisy. You can hear everything and everyone in the hallway and other rooms.

The heated pool was not heated at all and the sauna didn’t work at all. The evening popcorn & then cookies were very good and much appreciated. Nice seating for complimentary breakfast.

Staff was very friendly and helpful finding restaurants nearby. Hotel was clean and room was very comfortable.

Great hotel and excellent staff. I only wish we had a room with two queen beds and not full size. Other than that, great experience.

Room wall is too thin and the neighbors were too loud. I complained to front desk and the front desk staff did knock on the door BUT nothing happened. Now, my family is still up even though we finished a difficult hiking trail today and we are exhausted but can’t fall sleep. Update: 2:34 am I went to front desk and talked to the guy I talked to at 11:52 last night. He said that he can’t do anything since he knocked and called and left a message. He even called the manager and the manager didn’t respond. Apparently, this hotel did get similar incident last night with involvement of police according to the from desk staff. I will definitely talk to manager in the morning. Update: while I am writing this update, the neighbors finally turned off their TV around 3:05am. Finally! I don’t know what happened and will ask for refund in the morning because they ruined my vacation and I can’t concentrate on driving on the mountain roads for today’s itinerary. Update: the manager agreed to refund me $75 for my one night sleepless.

Our stay was good except for our first night when someone entered our room at 3am! After they came in they said they were assigned that room and exited quickly. That was rather disturbing and was brought to the attention of the front desk the following morning. Also, had to program the keys after one night. Minor hiccup, but why? Everything else was fine. Housekeeping is on demand only, and the breakfast was typical mundane choices hotels offer yhese days. Good lesson not to forget the slide lock on the door.

Hotel staff were friendly and working hard at hotel. However, hotel overall is dilapidated, beds are not comfortable, room in overall state of disrepair. Caulk in bathroom had mold and headboard was broken and coming apart. The hotel was sold out so we did not complain or asked to be changed to a different room. Sheets did not seem clean , everything felt grimy. Breakfast not edible. Will be our first and last stay. Overpriced for low quality.

Room not the cleanest, hair in the hand basin and bath, all over the toilet. Sugar sachet packet had been opened by previous occupant and replaced amongst the others, not checked, rubbish bin not emptied. Butter at breakfast so hard could not be spread, broke the plastic knife. Eggs microwaved, like a firm set jelly. Yuk. Had to get room changed as there was an odour in the room.

Well to begin with when it was check in time we had to wait, because the hotel said that their rooms weren't clean yet. We didn't get our room until 30 minutes after the actual time that is stated on their site.

Comfortable bed. Abundant towels. Nice to have windows that opened to quiet. Facility maintenance not always up to par. Tried kiosk check-in; painfully slow. Weather-stripping around room door loose and dangling.

Everything was good for a one night stay

It was great. My only suggestion, we stayed in a suite. There are no mirrors. Please place a mirror in the main area.

Check in was easy and quick. Our room was clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was good, all though the breakfast area was small, and we had to wait for a table to eat. The facility was only a few miles away from the Durango Silverton train. We would stay there again.

Check in went smooth. Staff were friendly. However, when we got to our room, we found that it smelled odd. Then we noticed there was wet carpet around the sink that was in the living area. Also…having the sink in the living area was odd. Then when I went to take a shower, the handle for the faucet fell off. We had to make sure we pushed in on it so it didn’t fall off. We expected a little better upkeep, given that we paid $275. This hotel is not in a convenient area. Would not recommend it.

Place is ok… but old and in need of work. When breakfast comes out, be first in line. First day was ice cold by7:30am. Second day was much better.

Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff was friendly.
