Having spent my entire adult life living in this particular neighborhood, I’ve always appreciated managements commitment to the hotel’s curb appeal.
Despite a short but sweet stay, this independently owned and operated hotel is an iconic heritage Vancouver treasure with a stunning lobby and modern finishings, both in the guest rooms and in the common areas too.
My check in process was super smooth. The two ladies were very kind, considerate and provided me with very clear instructions as to how I could access the parking garage. Parking fee was very reasonable at $18 for downtown Vancouver.
My second floor room was small despite having everything I needed EXCEPT a mini fridge which surprised me. Loved that guests can open windows for fresh air. Rooms feature air conditioning and black out roller shades for light sleepers.
Being on the second floor facing Seymour, I didn’t hear any traffic noise at all.
Location is about as good as it gets downtown. Walk to Pacific Center, Granville St., Yaletown, financial District, Sewall or the West End in five minutes or less.

The room is cleaned everyday, with new towels. There is a safe that isn't working. The mini fridge is ok, able to keep drink cool. The mattress is very hard. It's not very comfortable. The floor makes noises when we walk. Noises coming from people who stayed above us. We stayed on 3rd. Hotel has 4 floors.

Perfectly adequate hotel for the purposes of sleeping and exploring the city. Nothing fancy but friendly, helpful staff and well located. Caution in the bathroom, the floor was very uneven, to the point of it being a bit disorienting.

A great Hotel for our one night stopover in VC. The staff are very friendly and the hotel rooms are clean, comfortable and have been updated. We stayed a Friday night so there was a fair bit of street traffic and party goes to be heard until 3am. 450mtrs from a train station and an easy walk to the waterfront. Plenty of shopping and eating options close by. Worth considering if you're a solid sleeper.

Just in town for concert and location was great, smaller hotel but great service and price. Rooms nothing spectacular but bed was comfy enough. Only complaint was how loud the cleaning was in the hallways and on their walkie talkies. At 8:30am while lying in bed trying to sleep in I knew the rooms #s of everyone checking out that morning on our floor and which ones were priority. And then they started working in the one next to ours and with the amount of noise we figured we’d just get up and going. The food places attached were handy but a bit overpriced for the quality imho.

Great little hotel close to great restaurants, BC Place Stadium, Rogers Arena, and shops. Our room was very spacious, we'll decorated, great bathroom with a nice tub and separate shower, and very comfortable bed.

The staff here was wonderful! We arrived very early and just intended to drop off our bags, but they had a room available and allowed us to check in early. Talked to them on a couple of times with various questions and they were very helpful and always very friendly.

The check in was quick and easy. Employees were friendly and knowledgeable. Even though the room was small, it was clean. The bed was comfortable. We were able to have the windows open all night and there was minimal noise. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall good experience. Especially for the price in the area. The staff are excellent. Convenient parking nearby. The little cafe is good as well. Wish the room was a bit bigger with a table or something to sit at. We went for value over luxury and were not disappointed.

Funky and fun hotel in the heart of Vancouver that won’t break the bank. Close to everything from breakfast and brunch to late drinks and all those things that make late drinks necessary. All kinds of restaurants from Syrian to sushi. My go to place when I head to the coast.

The check in staff is always excellent. Very friendly, helpful, and pleasant. The property is cute, clean, and affordable. This time however, our room smelled like cigarette smoke, and it was hard to ignore.

Good to see this historic property get a new lease on life. Reasonable quality and affordability for downtown Vancouver. Close to Granville Street bus routes, shopping, restaurants etc.

Enjoyed the room. AC was needed and appreciated. Small room but it worked for 2 people. Fridge was small but it worked well. Easy walk to Roger’s arena.
