Have stayed here many times. Always lovely. Rooms clean and spacious, lovely spa.

It was fantastic. Sue (in the Spa) made our stay extra special. Sue went out of her way to give us background on Carden Park Spa, showed us around and really made us feel at home. What a huge asset Sue is to the Carden Park Team (will definitely be back).

The staff were all absolutely amazing but especially in The Vines restaurant. We had a beautiful meal which was the taster menu and everything was extremely delicate and the flavours were exquisite. Beautifully put together and presented flawlessly by the Vines staff. The manager was amazing and the attention to detail to make sure our every need was met which made our stay very special indeed. Thank you. The breakfast was fabulous and the staff very attentive. The hotel itself is beautiful and you are made to feel so welcome when you arrive. Very helpful staff who were very interested in making our stay amazing. We will definitely book again and take friends and family.

This was our first visit to the hotel and we were very impressed. Driving up to the hotel through the golf course showed the size of the hotel and leisure facilities. Check-in and the room ( we had a family room) were as you would expect. We tried the golf range and shooting which were very enjoyable. Breakfast was also very tasty and plenty of choice. Overall definitely be returning.

Amazing and so chilled hotel. Spa was sensational. Only thing I would say even if you book spa treatments you can’t use gardens or pool without extra cost.

Have stayed here several times. The vines restaurant is exquisite but this time one the mains was not up to scratch. Soon remedied with a replacement and 2 free glasses of wine and a desert. Cost of the one meal was deducted from our bill by Julian the restaurant manager who could have done anymore

Great venue. I used it for a one night work stay-over. Now thinking of coming back with my wife for a spa weekend.

Excellent hotel. Plenty to do for outdoor activities. Friendly and helpful staff. Only small point to note was Pool a little small and a bit cool as plenty of families.

This was our second stay at Carden Park hotel and it is a lovely hotel. The leisure centre is fantastic with a very lovely pool, excellent steam room very good sauna and massive jacuzzi pool. The breakfast buffet was, as ever, excellent. We did have an issue with our meal at The Vines. However, management have so far been helpful in dealing with that. We would return because it is a very nice place to stay and in a nice area to explore.

Great facility, lots of beautiful country side, Spa for her, Golf for him, winning combination. Eating options great, fine dining or rock up option. Staff soooo good very very helpful.

If I am honest I found my stay at Carden Park rather underwhelming. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful throughout. The room was a disappointment - very beige, brown, masculine. Bed was very comfortable, with the exception of the pillows. Bathroom was not as luxurious as expected and the shower was a bit feeble. Lunch menu was very limited and expensive for what it was. Carpet in the bar area needed cleaning under the table ( as did the carpet on corridor leading to bedroom). Function meal was rather disappointing with the dessert being inedible ( tough pastry on banoffee pie, no flavour and covered in squirt cream reminiscent of shaving foam). The wine was good. Coffee served after the meal was undrinkable- strong, stewed and bitter. Breakfast was also disappointing. Hot buffet items were cold. Tea wasn’t brewed individually so again was stewed. Poor selection of fruits and cheeses for the Continental Breakfast. Pastries were fine. espresso coffee wasn’t good either and was served in a huge cup. Would I stay again? Probably not unless I was attending a function. Definitely overpriced for a room and was not the luxury experience I was expecting. I didn’t have time to try the spa which I gather has had a lot of money spent on it.

We stayed for 1 night and were delighted with the hotel, grounds, facilities and bar / dining experience. The leisure facilities were great and the swimming pool and hydrotherapy pool / sauna / steam room were very clean and a lovely peaceful benefit to our stay. Unfortunately, the Vines Restaurant was closed for the duration of our stay. Our evening meal in Redmond's Brasserie was lovely and the full English buffet breakfast the following morning was delicious! The bar staff in Morgan's Bar were very helpful and attentive and the drinks were surprisingly very reasonably priced. The open fires in the bar and seating areas were delightful and welcoming. We can't recommend staying here to anyone enough and would definitely return in the future. The only constructive criticism I wish to offer is that it is that hotel residents should receive a considerably reduced tariff for use of the 'Spa at Carden' facilities, with the option to purchase spa treatments if desired.

The setting was lovely. Rooms had everything you could need. Staff were attentive and friendly.Food was excellent.

The service was excellent and fast.

Weekend escape for two. Was a beautiful hotel and we booked the suite which was lovely. Only draw back was you could only access suites from outside. Fab it wasn’t raining and lovely it was quiet however, not sure I would’ve liked it had weather been different! Room itself was lovely. I requested separate bath tub and shower. Was very spacious and you had complimentary robes and slippers. Room service food was limited and pretty average but it hasn’t put me off coming again. Grounds were beautiful and didn’t realise until after booking it was very child friendly. Def coming again with the kids!

We had a really lovely stay and would highly recommend it. Everything and everyone were great. We were in the hotel bar on Saturday evening and were served by a lovely young man who was learning the ropes. He was really supported by his colleagues. Staying in a place where the customers are so well looked after is lovely but it is really nice to stay in a place where colleagues are clearly well looked after too. We will definitely return.

we had room service and the quality was average at best, we were kept up from 11:30pm to 2:45am with workers loading vans from a function that was on, we phoned reception twice and didn't get any reply.we reported it again on checkout and manager over heard conversation and offered free upgrade on next visit which i suppose is something.

The staff were amazing, while staying at the property we used the spa victoria and tash, made us feel relaxed and comfortable during our treatment would highly recommend. We dined at Redmonds Brasserie the room temperature was a little cold and had the feel of a canteen not a restaurant, the food was lovely but not hot enough overall we had an amazing stay and will return in the future

Absolutely loved my stay! Kids also enjoyed it plenty to do those with toddlers!

Could not find fault with anything,really enjoyed my stay will go again.

Had a restful and pampered 2 night stay with my husband. Treated ourselves to fine dining and the use of the lovely indoor pool. All staff were friendly and helpful.

Fabulous from the welcome to the farewell. Lovely accommodation, friendly staff who were helpful and keen to make you feel welcome. Food fabulous and loved the sculpture exhibition.

Lovely facilities, friendly staff, excellent breakfast and comfortable rooms

Property is on beautiful grounds. Communal areas well kept, clean and well presented. Could not fault staff - all friendly, helpful and keen to please. The rooms let the hotel down. Double beds are small doubles and rooms still feel quite cramped. Not enough points for charging electricals. Have never been a fan of carpet in hotel rooms which this has - hate to think what that carpet is harbouring. Housekeeping was great first night, second night less so - only made beds, no cleaning and didn’t provide a bath mat. Bathrooms appear newly renovated so clean and fresh. Could do with an extra shelf to hold toothbrushes/toothbrush charger. Shower door falls short so prepare for wet floor after showers. No sound insulation. We could clearly hear the people in the room above walking around and using the toilet. Overall good accommodation. If the rooms could be brought up to the standard of the communal areas then would have given it 5 stars.

Have stayed before and a lovely hotel but given room price was disappointed by lack of air con making rooms very stuffy on a moderately hot day
