Manager let me see the room before checking in and it was musty, moldy with black mold and ac did not function well so I paid $25 refund and left.

I wouldn’t recommend this place.Its dirty inside the rooms smell bad.it had big roaches and small ones crawling on my face. It rains and water came inside the windows and wet my Alexa.they don’t do room service until the 3 day.I will never go to this place again even if it’s free.It was roaches in the breakfast area too .They need to demolished this building and built a new one.

The location was great and breakfast was free. The service for towels and the wifi was below average.

The rooms where very tiny not suitable to be used carpet very old everything outdated bad smell people smoking in the dorms , when it supposed to be smoke free rooms .a lot of foul smell inside and outside. This hotel needs to be shut down immediately!!

I must say this trip around was by far a nicer stay! The room was very clean! The staff Tammy was amazing.

We had a great experience with the staff and found the facilities fine except for the bathroom door, which was in horrible condition. It is in a very helpful location.

The hotel was fine, was an older property. The rooms smelled very musty

The property was affordable but not updated fully. The shower is old and the rooms have carpet along with a musty smell.

Adequate and somewhat underwhelming. The staff was helpful and friendly. We went here because the amenities were comparable to others advertised. Upon arrival, we were greeted and checked in. The breakfast options were adequate. The employees seemed understaffed. The facilities worked well and we had no problems with them. The exercise room was adequate. Our room was privileged to have a scenic view overlooking the marsh. We couldn’t check out the pool as it was understandably closed for the season. Upon arrival, the hotel felt hot and muggy. The air condition unit was turned off in the room so we had to wait for the room to cool down. The door was somewhat warped which was concerning. The window had not been cleaned very well & broken. We had to dispose of a small spider when we turned back the pillow on one bed. On the last night, much of the hotel smelt like someone had been/was smoking marijuana inside the property somewhere. Overall, it had its positives and negatives. It had room for improvements which can be achieved.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Planning to use the for another stay. We love Hunting Island and the drive is not bad. Loved the breakfast. The only thing that could’ve been a little better was the parking lot. We had to park on the side in the grass even though the lady told us we wouldn’t get towed that was a little worrisome.

customer service was awesome rooms was big but one of them had a very moldy smell but it was ok i just got some air fresher to try and kill the smell... the 3 rooms was great and my marine appreciate his name in the news paper upon those days we stayed there....thank you thank you thank you

1st morning no hot water, got better after the 1st day. Water pressure could be much better. Otherwise it was a good stay overall. Would stay there again.

Check your room when you come in before you unpack throughly… specially the bed.

Upon arrival, there's a car with a flat tire in the parking lot, no 'freshness' to the place, the drapes were 'hanging' on top the closet ...we had to drape some towels over the seemingly semen stains on the easy chair....we wiped the (backless) remote control (left a brown residue on the white wipe cloth)....needless to say ...we went STRAIGHT to bed (the linens DID seem clean), didn't 'touch' anything else.....THANK GOODNESS Hotels.com did negotiate with the manager to let us off the hook of what was supposed to be a 5 night stay....

Check in was good. Staff friendly. If you're looking for somewhere just to lay your head without ambiance then you're good. Basicas they come.

Clean, friendly service. They were very attentive to our needs and let us know they were available 24/7 to accommodate our needs. Close to MCAB and the historic town of Beaufort.
