Location

The floors were covered with some sort of oily substance on both the wood floors and bathroom tiles. I nearly fell and had to use a couple of towels to wipe away the substance … didn’t remove all of it. Brought it up to person as we were checking out. She shrugged her shoulders and made some comment about some of the unusual guests that haves stayed there in the past. Also, despite making it clear that we had a pet and were expecting a king size bed, the hotel had us down for a handicapped room and eventually had us in two full beds which were in pet friendly rooms. The blamed the issue on Booking.

Staff was absolutely amazing. Rooms were very clean and it was just a mile and a half walk from downtown. Starbucks on the same property was definitely a plus. Pool was clean and not very crowded. Breakfast was hot and pretty well stocked every morning. Really enjoyed our stay.

The elevator on the far end was wonky but was then put out of order so at least it was closed so no one would get stuck. So very glad of how attentive they are with things like that. Only other note that I would have is that maybe they should have a little more variety with breakfast as it gets kinda boring with long stays.

Dingy, needs upgrading, poorly lit in back where we stayed. Not clean. Palmetto bugs, spiders, centipedes.

I had a very terrifying experience here. My room was double-booked and a stranger walked in on me (female traveling alone) in my room in the middle of the night. Staff couldn't care less, barely apologized for the mistake, and I had to fight very hard for a very measly partial refund. I had booked two nights but cut my vacation short as I was not comfortable staying there.

Our room was behind the stairwell. So not only was it dark during the day people were getting ice from the ice maker and the light for the ice maker shone over the top of the blackout curtains

The young lady that check me in was very helpful and nice….wonderful personality and is very informative about the area

Mold on the bathroom walls. The room wasn’t very clean.
