Beautiful hotel with wonderful view and proximity to the Parthenon. The view from the restaurant on the roof was spectacular. Definitely recommend and would stay again

Staff: 5 stars Facility: 5 stars What stands out is that the hotel staff provided excellent, five star service. Front desk, the restaurant(breakfast) accommodated our requests. Room service was also great. The hotel anticipates the things that you will need just what a true 5 star hotel does. The facility had a classic ambiance, something that I purposefully sought when booking a hotel. The only regret that my family had was that we could not stay long enough to enjoy the hotel. This hotel is tough to beat in terms of location, and service.

Wonderful hotel and great staff

I only spent a few days in Athens but was extremely happy with my stay at the Herodion. Staff were on top of things and were very friendly. The location is ideal - right beside the Acropolis Museum and near the Acropolis and Parthenon (10-15 minute walk). If you don’t have much time and want to see as many of the main attractions as possible, hop on hop off tickets are available at a nearby shop. The bus stop is a 30 second walk next to the hotel, which was super convenient. Make sure to use the jacuzzi with a view of the Acropolis/Parthenon - such a nice touch. They also have a great rooftop restaurant with an unobstructed view. 10/10 would recommend.

Herodion Athens hotel is in a perfect location for sight seeing and the staff were all very kind and helpful. We absolutely loved our stay and will stay there again someday.

Hotel was nice and it was right by all the historic stuff that you might want to see. Didn’t really have a great experience at the restaurant there. But everything else was fine.

We loved staying here. The location was absolutely perfect! Right across the street from Acropolis museum and not even 10 minute walk to Acropolis. Restaurants and bar were fantastic and the view from rooftop was amazing! More shopping and restaurants within 2 minutes of hotel. Close to all major site seeing attractions. The hotel staff went above and beyond during our stay. We will definitely book there again on our next stay in Athens.

The Herodion was very good. It is ideally situated relative to the Acropolis an Plaka, albeit a little expensive. Our room was very small, but very clean. The staff were incredibly helpful. We’d return, but not for any more than a couple of nights given the cost.

Very close to Akropolis and the Museum. Walkable in any area

It's all about the location. The main lobby, restaurant and rooftop bar are quite nice. My room, however, felt miserably small and cramped. The furnishings were quite basic and old. I might stay again just for the superb location right next to the acropolis museum.

The location is superb. Staff are so helpful, welcoming and friendly. There was never a queue at reception . Very caring making sure we drank enough water. A boutique hotel. Rooms are perhaps on the small size but large, comfortable bed. Enough space for bags etc. Large bathroom. Highly recommend this hotel. Everyone works hard to ensure a happy stay.

We love this hotel! Room was very nice and pristine. Wonderful bathroom and shower. Rooftop Jacuzzi, restaurant and bar - all of which we used. Ground floor restaurant and bar also really nice and attractive. However, the very best part were all the hotel staff we interacted with! Bill (Vacillus) was just a joy to deal with. Absolutely 100% we are staying with them in future Athens visits. To die for view of the Parthenon, and streets full of restaurants 5 min walk away. PS: we also used their recommended transport service, that was also really nice!

Very nice hotel. Great breakfast buffet, bar & 2 restaurants. Rooms a little small but OK. No cream rinse for hair and hard to use blow dryer. Very nice staff.

Restaurant/Bar on roof very good food and excellent service. Rooms are clean and adequate. Maid service for rooms is slow. Breakfast is pick up and good. Did not see any expresso at breakfast, but plenty of regular coffees.

Hotel was in great location close to Acropolis and metro station. Hotel room was great. Hotel staff were very helpful.

Location, location! 4 minute walk to the Acropolis Museum and a 7 minute walk to the Acropolis and Slopes Entry. Stunning roof bar with a view over Acropolis and hot tubs with an equally incredible view. The decor and amenities in the public areas is top class and I can't remember a hotel in recent times where the services was so consistently high right across every department in the hotel.
