The property was good, closed to beach, staffs were really helpful and friendly, but the service was poor, the common areas had no air condition and was hot like hell.Food options were limited

This was absolutely one of the worst experience we had. Beginning with checking process, it was a nightmare. We had 5 rooms in total (spending close to 20k in total) rooms were not not good. Room condition were horrible. They all were in great need of TLC. No working outlets, paint coming off, bathroom in bad condition, few rooms shower had absolutely no water pressure, two rooms A/C didnt cool past certain temperature. They could have easily switched us to better rooms but front desk refused to acknowledge anything and did absolutely nothing. They kept saying all rooms are pre assigned and they are not allowed to change it. We lost power in our room, had to call 4 times before anyone came to fix the issue which literally took less than 30 seconds to fix, dont forget it was 90degrees and we had to miss our dinner reservations as we has to wait for someone to come fix the issue. I would not recommend this property at all and request some part of my money to be refunded.

Our family had an amazing vacation. The staff was very friendly and made you feel comfortable. The services received were great. Didi and Arabi were great!!

Although it looks super nice and well kept, the service and entertainment was either a hit or miss. The room cleaning one day would be great the next would be horrible because nothing was restocked. The nightly entertainment wasn’t great and it was hot with no ac! The food was mediocre and the service was a hit or miss. Not a lot of food choices either if you didn’t have reservations made. For a fancy hotel, besides the look, everything else was inconsistent and mediocre compared to the other places we’ve stayed at (and we go once every year to Cancun). Would rate this as an ok experience but will def not return.

Everything was great like always. The staff was amazingly attentive to all my needs and my kids.

Great experience, rooms were clean and cool, but outdated but really no complaints. A lot of reviews complained about staff not being friendly, but we had a great experience with them and were courteous and helpful, although maybe a bit understaffed. Only thing I'd say needs improvement is the entertainment. Otherwise has a great experience.

The resort was beautiful, food was excellent, hospitality amazing, but the pool had a giant piece of glass and landed on my foot, very large size piece, i simply discarded it, next time ill wear water shoes

I would not recommend this hotel and never go there again myself. Positives: It is a good size hotel, gives a good impression upon arrival and has a massive swimming pool. The lobby area and restaurants look nice and overall the hotel has a nice vibe. There were shows every night and the waiters in the restaurants were friendly and accommodating for kids. Negatives 1. Maintenance: we were assigned a room which was not in best shape, the shower was damaged and dirty, the couch was broken and walls were damaged (pictures attached). We had to push to get the room changed and the reception lady was clearly note happy about it. In addition to this, the swimming pool is not very clean, there are dead insects floating around. 2. Too Commercial: upon arrival a concierge member approached us and offered us a free massage as we were visiting from Europe (most visitors are American and Mexican), when it was time to get the coupon he pushed us into an information session about a loyalty program, I was clear that I don’t want to discuss any time share options and I was told it’s not that, it’s about Melia loyalty program. The information session was clearly a sales pitch for time share, being lied to by the hotel staff into a sales pitch left a bad taste overall. In addition to this they try to sell / upsell things to you everywhere tour operators and water sports activities people walking around the hotel trying to grab you at every corner to try to sell to you. I would not recommend.

I been to Cancun three times but this place was the WORST!!! I had to change the room because water was leaking from the roof. Never going back there again!!
