Reception staff were very welcoming, plenty of car prking spaces, good walkable location from the city centre. Breakfast was really good, and we loved the pool which 1 out of the 2 days we used it was really quiet. Nice to have a lane blocked off even though one silly woman decised to ignore it was a lane being. used and just did her own thing along with her older child. Would have been nice if staff could have pointed that out to her as my teenage son didnt feel he could. Our room was really nice, good size, comfy chair, ice available, and quiet carpets so we didnt hear people wandering back to rooms. There was some first night music playing late we could hear - not sure if that was from the bar or elsewhere. We didnt hear any the second night. Really nice stay, we'd go again.

We were very disappointed in the maintenance of the room. The toilet would not always flush, half way through our 4 night stay we could not get hot water only tepid water, the ac/heat system would turn off in the middle of the night on its own. We felt the public areas of the hotel were nice, but the rooms need to be updated.

Due to understaffing the lounge restaurant food was met with slow service and overcooked pasta and croquettes. The Cosmopolitans were terrible.

Lovely hotel in a great location

Beautiful, well-appointed. Front desk staff (Mikayla and Irish/American woman whose name is failing me at the moment) were beyond helpful with ideas and recommendations. Wish we could have stayed longer and taken advantage of spa treatments.

All staff were great. Bar and restaurant lovely furnishing and decoration. A great boutique hotel.

Great centrally located hotel within easy walk of Shop St, Bars, restaurants and city attractions. Helpful friendly staff, great selection for breakfast and v nice pool and gym. Would certainly return

If you are looking for AC, ours was broken and did not allow us to have an enjoyable stay. Overall the hotel is average. Had a nice view looking at the river. Mini fridge was warm and felt over heated.

The air conditioning in the room did not work properly. There was no way to take a shower without soaking the floor outside as they only provided a short plexiglass to keep the water in tub area instead of a proper shower curtain or a longer plexiglass cover. Several times at different times of the day, you could not reach anyone on the phone no matter what extension you touched. It isn’t even a matter of higher expectations but just even normal expectations weren’t met.

Great place

We were thrilled with the accommodations. In addition to the stellar options for food/drink, spa, gym, pool, and bed, I especially loved the option to pour myself a glassful of icy sparkling water from the water machine. I’ve never seen that in a hotel and thought it was unique, convenient, and delicious. Brilliant!

Nice hotel, good location

This hotel is very comfortable, as an American traveler it reminds me of a typical chain hotel we have in the states. The only weird thing about this place is that it is actually two buildings connected over a long walkway between the two. Kind of a pain to get your luggage between the lobby and the other side which is a series of elevators and that forementioned long walk. But room was great to problems, clean and comfy!

Big hotel with plenty of amenities and nice to use hot tub. Comfy huge bed. Good location for walking to the town. Overall lacks charm and would stay somewhere smaller like a b&b if went back .

Wonderful hotel and staff made my stay exceptional. The beds are like sleeping on a cloud.

The staff was wonderful!

Over all stay was a 1/5. We had high hopes for this stay and it did not live up to the facade. Trying to give this hotel the benefit of a doubt is difficult as there were many things we encountered. Upon check in we did not receive any information on checkout times, pool times or gym times. We received no other information other than our keys and room number. Upon getting into our rooms the beds were extremely uncomfortable, A/C did not work, (we did close the window) luckily the hotel had a fan. Bathroom did not ventilate and the grout had many black spots where it looked as though it should be white. The glass in the tub was not long enough to keep the water from splashing out leading to a very wet floor. Even with the shower head turned away. Elevators took forever to get to our floor, and it would take you to the incorrect floor even after pressing the correct floor button. The pool the jacuzzi and hot tub both would not turn on which was a bummer as that was one reason we picked this hotel. The restaurant, food was good seemed to be understaffed, I was told I should maybe just go order at the bar. The main restaurant area where I was sat had a broken chair arm. We had high hopes due to the ratings ands pictures and unfortunately did not live up to them, it did have a good salability to pubs.

Superb hotel in great location - not right in busy main square, but close to all the action - a 5 minute walk. The food was quite good. Lovely views from executive rooms. Strongly recommend this hotel while in Galway if you want an upscale, relaxing stay.

Some staff were excellent, some very poorly trained. Air conditioning very poor and bathroom xpelair was ineffective. Poor value, expensive, service did not match the price of rooms. Quite disappointing

This is an outstanding property with tremendous attention to detail in the rooms and a nice View Of the water. Very spacious American- style Room in terms Of size and amenities such as refrigerator. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed. About a 10 Minute walk to the center of town. Highly Recommend!

Great hotel

Spent 2 nights in Galway.Staff was very helpful. Breakfast offerings were great. Easy walk to train, town sq, food and shopping. Fair price for the offerings. We would go back

This property should not have as many stars as it does. Hotel itself was nice but rooms were subpar. Our air did not work and windows wouldn’t open so we were in a humid, stuffy room. Our toilet had difficulty flushing despite someone coming up and fixing it (worked once after the fix, then no longer). Sink was clogged. Staff was nice but service was quite slow. Need to do some reworking.

There was a problem with our air conditioning leaking water in our original room and the hotel was fully booked and the staff gave us a suite. Beautiful room! They took very good care of us.

Great location. Beautiful hotel and rooms. Best hotel we stayed at while we were in Ireland.
