Nice reception and friendly atmosphere but the beds are terrible, rooms dated, breakfast terrible (all packaged items). It is close to Colonial Williamsburg though.

Great place to stay for convenience as the shuttle to every where is walking distance from your room. Parking is becoming increasingly a problem at Williamsburg and rumor has it that you will be charged to park at the visitors center. Parking is free for quests.

This was the perfect stay for our weekend vacation: Colonial Williamsburg. I can’t tell you how happy I was to be able to roll out of bed, then the Visitor’s Center be right there. The beds were comfy and the breakfast was amazing. We found a great deal on Woodlands when compared to other hotels in the area – and plan to return after Christmas.

My family and I enjoyed our stay that included a warm welcome at check-in and comfortable accommodations that allowed for our dog to travel with us. The Williamsburg Woodlands are located in close proximity to Colonial Williamsburg and other nearby attractions.

This was an old hotel and close to colonial Williamsburg. All staff was super friendly however slow to respond to needs. The air conditioning did not respond well and cool the room especially for the living space in the suites with food out sofa beds.

Excellent choice for Colonial Williamsburg or Busch Gardens. The rooms are very large and immaculate! I travel for work weekly and it's better than the high end chains I usually stay at. The breakfast is very good and plenty of choices. Excellent gluten free section as well. It's much more than the normal breakfast included you usually get. All the staff, housekeeping, foodservice, front desk and maintenance were so nice and pleasent to everyone, they make the hotel!

Got a king bed for my wife and I with a queen sofa pullout for my boys. The sofa bed was in such bad shape and so uncomfortable that I had to get another room just for my kids.
But breakfast was surprisingly good and the staff were all very nice. Plus the proximity to Colonial Williamsburg makes it really nice.

Set up to get there is strange, parking is strange. The bed are full, not queen size and semi-comfortable. The rooms, thin walls/doors in between. I thought people were outside in the hallway talking when in fact, they were in their room. Just ok, outdated.

The room was very comfortable and the hotel location in proximity to colonial Williamsburg is excellent. It was a about 20-25 minute walk through proper designated pathways to and from the activities I was doing in colonial Williamsburg. The staff at the hotel was helpful and friendly. The fitness center is well equipped. The continental breakfast offerings are ample. They even had a variety of milk alternatives as well as gluten free options. This was an excellent place to stay .

The front desk staff were amazing. Kind, efficient, informative, helpful. Through the staff we learned we were eligible for a discount on our tickets. When we needed a place to recharge rented scooters, they offered a place in the lobby. When we asked for a late check out, they said yes. Can't ask for better.

Property was beautiful and staff was nice and helpful. However, first room was damp, dank, and similar to a $50 Motel on a highway. Staff pleasantly agreed to move us to a different room. It still smelled dank and moldy, but it was less bad than the first room. Most hotels were full, so we were stuck. Won't be going back.

Loved the fact we stayed in the Colonial Williamsburg property area. We saw there was quite a few activities at the resort for kids to do. Very nicely tucked away amongst the trees. Quiet area and easy to get on the main road to get you to any part of colonial Williamsburg.

The hotel is right in the middle of Historic Williamsburg. It was very affordable and well-kept. The outdoor pool was nice but the miniature golf course and surrounding grounds were not well maintained.
