Overall, the property was nice but the reason I give it three stars is because I booked a room with a hill view and they gave me a completely different room with a view of the parking area and a house. They claim they overbooked the rooms but upgraded us to a “Suite”. They didn’t inform us of this until I complained about it and acted as if there was no problem at all. Had I known this I would have booked another property because let’s be honest, the view is everything in Tuscany. Not an awful experience but I would probably recommend booking another property if a balcony view is a priority for you.

Good hotel with excellent staff on hand to make your stay a pleasant one. Plenty of loungers in the gardens by the pool also, if you want to take time out. Rooms are very comfortable and offer excellent views should you wish to upgrade. Only a short walk in to town also. Definitely recommend.

Front desk not very friendly We had a car to park instead of offering to us to park and pay They send us out of the property to park , when we realized that the signs at the parking spots said for guess only we wonder what do they call us , so I ask and she said our car was too big and it will take 2 spaces so we said ok we will like to park and pay for parking so she told us that she had to make a call to see if she could do it and she could tell is in 5 minutes, Then when we came back another person was there we asked again this time she said yes for 13e we can park and of course we said yes we had 3 rooms in that hotel Last names Martinez Acosta And Perez At the end our car fit perfectly in the spa that she told us we could not park there bc of the size Overall not a very friendly place to stay quite disappointed in this place we have been traveling since sept 15 all over Italy I think you can check our reservations and see what I mean This was the only disappointment so far all the other places have been GREAT Thank you

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Great location as only 10 mins walk from San Gimignano centre. The staff are first class, very helpful and professional.

Lovely hotel, beautiful location. Had to leave the car off site on a road, which had to be moved before 8am the next day a no choice but an early wake up.

Great location, great swimming pool, great service, good size rooms with king size beds and private parking. Highly recommend this hotel.

The property itself and the staff were excellent. My critique would be of the plugs in the room. They need to be updated so that you can charge your phone without taking out a converter

Be aware! This is not a four star hotel! The room are VERY small, the staff unfriendly and tired, the breakfast so poor! No restaurant at the property. It’s not aloud to put your one things in the fridge in YOUR OWN room! We would never come back to this “hotel” again!

Absolutely perfect - location, staff, and grounds! Short 10 minute walk to the gate of San Gimignano. The entire staff were super friendly and very helpful at booking several wine tours. We were able to visit both the Chianti and Montalcino wine regions from here. Oh, and the breakfast every morning was excellent!

Beautiful location and a very easy 10 minute walk into San Gimignano town, hotel staff were wonderful, very helpful and attentive. Hotel is quite dated in some areas, and a little worn/run down in rooms mainly. The lobby and breakfast areas are very Tuscan and beautiful. It will definitely need a refurbishment of rooms in the new couple of years I feel. Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely visit again!

Overall this is a good hotel with a great location. Check in was easy, but the desk staff was just ok. The afternoon guy at the desk was much better and very helpful. Breakfast was good and the food quality was was above average. The view was outstanding and within walking distance to Town, which was our favorite place that we visited, so it made the hotel higher on the scale. Parking was limited but very safe. The A/C didn’t really work well but the night temps was high 60’s so it wasn’t really an issue. 4 stars... clean, beautiful view, great location. Worth the money. .... we will be back.

Let me get the positives out of the way: the staff are incredibly professional and friendly, cant do enough for you. The breakfast is good and its only a 5 minute walk into town. Negatives: for a 4 star hotel it is just really old fashioned and dated. It really needs to be modernised. The furniture in the bedrooms is something out of the 80s with a small tv and poor toiletries. We paid extra for a double superior room which yes did have some extra space but then had zero view...unless you think the building next door was a view. This meant there was hardly any light in the room. I'd have preferred a smaller room with a view and daylight! Not sure they mop the floor as my feet were dirty walking around barefoot. Also in our bathroom there was a towel rail right next to the toilet which meant they were practically touching. I had to keep moving the towels as it was just weird. Dont place hand towels near where you are going to flush! There is a small pool and terrace but note that the pictures make it look as though everything is quite nicely spaced...when in reality you are just off of the car park.

The pool was very nice place to relax also the car park was a bonus near San Gimignano

Town of San Gimignano was close by and beautiful! Room was extremely small however. Very little room for luggage and the person staying in it. Also, air conditioning couldn’t keep up with the heat. People at hotel were very nice, however. Accommodations were just too small and room too hot.

Beautiful grounds and amazing views of Tuscany. It's a ten minute walk to lovely San Gimignano. A nice breakfast is included with a good selection of foods and great service. .Our standard room was bright and clean but very tiny - as was the bathroom (think closet size). The shower is a little over 2 ft X 2 ft.

Charming hotel within a 8/10 minute walk to the beautiful San Gimignano.The hotel is very quiet, maybe a little before the main season starts but not very many people around,The room we had was very small, and bathroom likewise. The shower was very narrow with only a pull curtain, a little dated. BUT the view from the very large balcony is wonderful..well worth it.Breakfast is ok, enough to start the day. Evenings there seemed to be no-one about,came back to have a drink at the bar and sit in the lounge but each night it was only my husband and I..No staff at the bar, reception had to go and get us our drink.Parking is expensive in the gates of hotel 13 euros a day, there are a few places just before you turn into the hotel, have to take a chance not already taken.Hotel has beautiful views and is so near the amazing Medieval Town.

This is a beautiful place ... With excellent views... The only thing was that they don’t have restaurant service and the air conditioning was wrong

A wonderful stay. The breakfast was great. The view was amazing.

The staff are welcoming and helpful and the location is perfect - a short walk into town. We had a lovely stay and will go back. The only negative is the size of the room - one of the smallest doubles I've ever stayed in. Will make sure we have a larger room next time

We paid the extra 30 euros for a country view and it was amazing. The room is the smallest we have ever seen, smaller than the cruise ship room we had. It's just enough to fit the bed and for you to walk around it, plus a small desk and cupboard. The washroom is just a sliding door away. The balcony is a good size though and you'll love the view. I don't know if it's worth that amount of money. We really enjoyed our stay as San Gimignano, Tuscany and the view were wonderful. A glass of wine on the balcony is what you'll love.
