The hotel is very well placed and check in was easy and efficient. We ate in the restaurant which was unbelievably good. The food was fresh and plentiful and cooked very well (and reasonably priced). Breakfast was fantastic. Only downside was finding out when we checked in that there was a private party happening that evening. Assurances were made with a letter in the room that music would not be too loud and would all be finished by 11:30pm. While this turned out to be true, the bass from the disco was incredibly loud. A constant boom boom boom. We were on the second floor and had to turn up the TV quite loud and you could still feel it in your chest so no idea what those on the first floor suffered. Indeed on check out one guest was clearly unhappy as she settled her bill as no prior warning was given. Being our anniversary we were hoping for a nice peaceful evening with a great meal (which we got) and a bit of relaxation after a long day (which we didn’t).

A very enjoyable experience. The bed was very comfortable and the whole hotel beautifully clean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food delicious. Highly recommended.

The way the staff handled our checkout.Around £ 340-00 put on our bill for food and wine we didn’t order.Problem finding £150-00 deposit paid for Christmas Day lunch.The lady on reception was very rude and unhelpful it took a lot of convincing that we had paid a deposit and not ordered the other food and wine.Love the hotel but checking out ruined our Christmas the receptionist needs to be more customer friendly

Hotel is very good, however our room on the first floor had the air con/kitchen extraction units just outside our window creating a noticeable hum/noise throughout our stay, not the best ambience. Also coffee pod machine in room didn’t work. This was reported to reception at 5.00pm but to no avail as it wasn't replaced/fixed during our stay.

No welcome drink. Room was good. Some maintenance issues need attention. Non espresso branded capsules. Worst thing was breakfast paid £40 for 2 and was greasy. orange juice was like in a shot glass so small. No offer of extra coffee. Really need a new breakfast chef.

I was particularly impressed with the friendliness of the reception staff - and indeed all the staff. Good food at dinner and breakfast. Excellent location for exploring beautiful Harrogate.

Beautiful hotel and location is perfect for the town and with views of the Stray park too. I ate in the restaurant and the menu is great and food beautiful. Breakfast was also very tasty. Love the Scentair diffuser in reception-need this at home! Reception lady(Spanish) is amazing and super helpful. My second stay and I will definitely be back!

A perfect stay. Room was beautiful, well appointed and immaculate. Every small detail was thought of to make the stay as pleasant as possible and was a delightful night. Was travelling for business and unfortunately didn't have much time to enjoy the hotel or the room but will definitely return soon for a weekend break as was massively impressed.

Fabulous stay at West Park Hotel. Only stayed 1 night in junior suite but will definately return for a longer stay. Perfect location, perfect room, perfect staff all round. X 10/10

First time but definitely not the last time we will stay here. Had we known how good it was we would have stayed two nights to fully benefit from the food and facilities. Best hotel we have encountered in Harrogate for sure.

Hotel was good especially the service from the staff. Got an upgrade to a penthouse suite which was nice. The suite facilities were very good however we did think that the carpet was poor with several marks. Also some mould around the shower door.

The staff were very welcoming and professional. Comfortable room. Great location. Good bar and restaurant.

Lovely Hotel in an excellent location.

We arrived late and as a result of a fairly traumatic time resulting in a hospital visit. The lady at reception was so helpful and accommodating and we felt welcomed immediately The room was lovely - she had even arranged dog bowls for the two dogs Really wishes we could have stayed longer. Thank you !

Hotel is excellent, located brilliantly for strolling around Harrogate, staff really helpful and both breakfast and evening meal lovely. The only thing that I could slightly complain about was the height of the shower in the bath…. Beware if you are over 6ft2….!!! But you can get a bath…!!!

Superb food and service in the restaurant Bed and covers comfy but huge noise all night from generator or similar outside room 105 slept about two hours - dissatisfied as it was my birthday I was shattered !

Great location opposite the Stray park and very near to the shopping streets and restaurants . Booked business trip last minute so was allocated an accessible room as fully booked which wasn’t an issue as the shower area was well designed so didn’t ‘flood ‘ the floor.However the extractor with bathroom light stays in for at least 15 minutes after switching off and was very loud. Toilet was not clean on arrival but the receptionist was quick to sort this out herself.

Lovely stay great staff friendly and accommodating

Good location. Both for the train station & the town centre. There are plenty of restaurants & cafes within reach. The West Park have a restaurant too if in doubt! Generally well suited for a vacation or for business trip.

It was a lovely stay. The manager and receptionist were superb and very helpful. Will definitely stay again.

Fourth visit and once again everything was fab.

3rd visit and just as good as before. We had a smaller room this time but it was still very nice and had everything you would need.

This is one of our favourite hotels - the staff are helpful and friendly, the rooms are beautiful (not only was ours very clean and comfortable but we were provided with a bed, bowl and treats for our dog) and the breakfast is superb.
