This hotel is a fraud. No AC - claiming to fix AC but no one showed up - check all reviews running into this same problem. Lied to Expedia that they fixed AC after we left therefore declined to refund. Actually we went back later to drop the key and knew AC wasn’t fixed at all. The air in the room was extremely stuffy and the window opened to the street, thus unsafe to open at all. Expedia customer service is willing to help, but the situation just got too complicated as the hotel was intentionally exploiting the communication and procedural loopholes.

We booked 2 rooms and one of them had no air conditioning. Then they change our room and again air conditioning was not working. And there was only one person there and said he is not able to do anything. After so much arguments he said he will call electrician . When we asked for refund he said no . We spent whole night without AC . It was terrible. Next day there was another person on reception and and he said he doesn’t know anything about issue. Very bad experience.

This hotel is in need of a face-lift. The staff is excellent and very helpful.

I very rarely do this, but I would strongly Recommend not booking this hotel for your stay in Florence. We were told after check-in that the AC is off until June (Even though it was on hotels in Florence we stayed in) our room only had One small window in the ceiling And it was the top floor and unbearably stuffy and hot. In order to sleep We had to keep the hallway door open, so there was some form Of current. Since we had to leave the window open all night, it was very loud from the street and we also had a ton of mosquitoes as the hotel is against the river. The tv also didn’t work Neither did the hot water, Both of those Issues were nothing compared to the unbearable heat we endured all night. We Spent a great deal on this hotel Put a huge damper on our trip.

Very overpriced for what it is. Internet doesn’t work well at all. Iron didn’t fit the plugs. Nothing in the room was plugged in. They charged you for extra towels.

I never stayed in this Hotel.

People at the desk were very nice and helpful. We stayed in room 204 which was very dated. Peeling wallpaper, water stayed pooled on the floor outside shower. Took us 15 minutes to walk from station. Not many restaurants around. All and all just okay. Clean safe quiet. Bed was not very comfortable.

I stayed for 3 nights at Hotel Panama. It’s just out of the busy centre of Florence but far enough to be away from the noise and hustle and bustle of Florence. It’s a good 15-20min walk from the main train station. There are good bus links nearby but I walked everywhere so that I could see more of Florence. It’s not great for nearby restaurants so I suggest eat in town before heading back to the hotel for bed. Honestly though, if you’re like me and don’t mind a 20min walk to most places, then this hotel is in a good place. The hotel and room was clean and basic, but honestly it was just a base for me to sleep. If you’re out and about most of the day then it’s perfectly fine. The breakfast was disappointing for selection and very few. And you could homely have 1 coffee. Other then that it was good.

Worst hotel stay in a long time

Booked a non smoking room but room stank of smoke. Went to the front desk to complain they said about spraying and opening window, which we did. Even after leaving window open all afternoon and evening until we got back did not help the smell. Could not change room, so had to stay in room was given. Would not recommend rooms for staying presentation in reception clean and tidy just did not get what paid for. Very disappointed with service and accommodation will not waste money and stay here again. I am even putting a complaint in with Expedia to get this resolved due to miss selling of room type/condition.

The location and service was absolutely wonderful. The only comment about our room was that the air system was a bit noisy so I turned it off and that left the room on the cool side. Breakfast was good and offered alot of choices. Be aware that the adaptor you bring needs to fit 2 or 3 narrow holes, not like Rome which fits the standard 2 hole adaptor.

I get room just like storage there is no windows the toilet inside the shower room The telephone doesn’t work there is a lot of insects in the room spiders and bugs Photos the Boston in the app it’s big difference between the photos on the real there is no coffee machine no hot water the bill is just like rugs it’s very hot use

It was a far walk from everything, especially with luggage. The room was very musty smelling and gave me hives all night.

Room was small as was bathroom and shower, but everything worked including A/C. We enjoyed having breakfast in the courtyard as well as having a beer there late in day. It’s a bit far from restaurants and main attractions, so you don’t really want to be going back and forth to it during the day.

There is not aircondition in the rooms as stated in the decription!

Probabaly the smallest and most uncomfortable shower you can have

The room was different from what I’ve paid for and half size of what is on Expedia. Wallpapers on walls really should be changed, power outlets are available for room utilities only. Do you want to charge your phone? Unplug fridge first! Nice staff, balcony and it was clean though.

Good location, booking in easy and pleasant, we were party of three couples and two of the rooms needed some T L C, paper on wall ripped and makeshift repair done to it, small toilets. thinnest towels I have ever come across hand towels were like pillowcases perhaps Italian way. Breakfast, myself and my partner went down to breakfast there was only one boiled egg left, when asked could we please have another told all finished assume one egg per guest so someone must have taken two. On going up for another cup of tea lady pointed to sign saying all second cups of hot drinks must be paid for, ridiculous

Beds are a little hard. Staff is friendly and helpful. Clean place. Only complaint is the air conditioning. You can’t turn it colder. It’s set at 26 degrees Celsius or so. That’s not cold when it’s hot outside. Felt muggy and humid inside the room. Oh I forgot. Our room had a tub/jacuzzi. The shower head was at waist level. No curtain to keep water from going all over the place. My girlfriend tried to fill tub but brown water came out. So had to take a shower with the flexible house shower that was at wasñist level.

It was a good experience. If I go to Florence again, I like to stay there.
