One of the best hotels I've ever been in!

Excellent hotel close to the train station with a fabulous buffet breakfast.

Location location location! Literally 1 minute from the train station… very convenient! The staff was helpful… provided map of city & recommendations along with train schedule. Bed was hard & room was not clean. Could still see feces in bidet from previous guest, shower was not clean, towels looked like they had been thrown on rack, desk was dirty… had to clean before I could put my items on it. La Spezia is very quaint at night & really enjoyed the harbor. Ok for 1-2 night stay.

Great location! Nice hotel very close to train station and main shopping/restaurant strip. Room was quiet at night. Air conditioning worked great. Don’t hesitate- this is a great hotel!

Ideally located, nice staff, excellent restaurant and bar, lovely decor. Our room was on the small side and we noticed a few signs that some upkeep was needed (wallpaper peeling off the corner or the wall, shower door had a bit of mildew in the corners and hard to reach places). But overall a comfortable stay. The restaurant and bar was the highlight for us. It's a nice area to walk at night, animated and lively in the streets around.

So close to the train station which makes it so easy to travel around area. Staff very friendly

We stayed here 2 nights to visit Cinque Terre area. For that it was a perfect location since it´s next to the train station. We booked parking, but when arriving the garage door was partly blocked and so tiny that our car could not even get in. The staff though solved it perfectly arranging with another parking place in an alternative space!

First of all the hotel room looks nothing like the pictures they have remodeled the rooms and made them clean sleek and comfortable. It was a great surprise. The hallways are still in the process you can definitely see the difference between the old and new…, YOU CANT PICK A BETTER LOCATION FOR THE TRAIN IN AND OUT OF CINQUE TERRE OR EVEN WE SPENT TGE DAY IN PORTOFINO ❤️🇮🇹 great staff, really nice breakfast and an elevator 👍

The room was small and the shower stall was tiny. I am not a large person at 155 lbs. It was very difficult to shower and maneuver in such a confined space. It was literally 2 ft.x2ft. Larger size adults should inquire before booking, I wish I had known.

We stayed for 2 nights and the hotel property is very nice and modern with very good service, location was very convenient very close to train station , however we were giving a room very outdated and with very strong smoke smell, we could barely stay in the room. Would suggest to have the room updated or properly sanitized to get rid of the strong smell.

We recently stayed at Hotel Firenze e Continentale in July 2024, and my experience was far from satisfactory. Despite some positive aspects ( only one is closeness to train station ) the hotel has serious issues with inconsistency and misleading presentation. The hotel is conveniently located, providing easy access to local attractions and amenities in the area. This was one of the few positive aspects of our stay. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were polite and informative, giving us a warm welcome and details about the hotel’s amenities. **Room:** This is where the problems began. The hotel has two different lifts: one leads to a modernized part of the hotel, and the other to a run-down, dirty section. We were unfortunately placed in the latter. Our room was dirty and poorly maintained, with outdated furniture and inadequate facilities. The overall cleanliness was severely lacking, which was disappointing. **Facilities** The reception and dining areas are misleadingly presented, giving an impression of uniform quality throughout the hotel. However, this is not the case. The modernized part of the hotel may be up to standard, but the older section is not. The dining area, though visually appealing, does not make up for the poor room conditions. Reception lady was very accomodating and appeared equally as shocked when we showed her the photos of the room. We were moved to a different room, and although cleaner, we would not stay at thjs hotel again.

Great location and suprisingly good breakfast. Close to trainstation where you can get to Cinque Terre. When we arrived the service was great but checking out they were slow and it took 15 min. It was also a very slow elevator that made os use the stairs more often. The breakfast had so many different options and it tasted great.

This was so perfect for visiting Cinque Terre. Fast walk from the train, which let us stay out late visiting the towns. Our only negative was the shower was tiny. We’re not big people and we felt how small it was. If you weight more than 175 this won’t work for you.

The location is great.

We stayed in a newer room and we were very impressed by the space. Every space of the room was clean! It has a massive bathroom and with a walk in robe that has a safe and mini fridge in it, it was perfect! Its location is perfect, it’s right out side the station, however it was quiet inside the room. Bathroom was equipped with everything you need and the basin was a very good size. We utilised the walk in robe which had a full length mirror. The staff were extremely helpful as we had an electric car and emailed them before our stay to secure a parking spot with the charging station. When there they were very helpful with towel hire, and printing of tickets. Lobby was beautiful.

This hotel is conveniently located near the main train station of La Spezia (An easy three minute walk). It was likewise convenient for a walk to restaurants and retail shops along a major business district. The atmosphere in the hotel is upscale and the we found the service provided at the front desk - and in the lounge/restaurant - attentive and friendly. Food and beverages were delicious: a real treat for us at the end of our travel day. In the morning, we decided to have breakfast at the hotel and found the buffet selection varied and plentiful. We will not hesitate to book another visit to the hotel should we be lucky enough to travel to the region again.

Propert states is a Luxury waterfront hotel, which is farther from the truth. Pictures for the website don’t represent the property except for the stairwell from the restaurant. There is no parking and/or at the hotel and you have to reserve in advance. This place is no way near the water and staff is very unpleasant. At 8:00 AM someone tried to unlock our door, when we asked who it was no one answered. No amenities and mold within the bathroom. Stay away!!

Not much to say….. we checked in late and stayed just one night and checked out! Very convenient though as close to the train station.

Hotel was convenient to the train and accommodations were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would not recommend the breakfast there. The food hot foods were cold and coffee was not hot

We stayed in the updated rooms on the property. They were very beautiful and comfortable..

Great location when traveling by train. They had a band in the evening that was pretty loud but fortunately our room was far enough away from it.

Hotel was clean and pretty. Breakfast was outstanding. Only comment is the bathroom is small and shower stall is narrow and difficult to negotiate. Otherwise a nice stay.
