My stay here was very short. We intended to stay for the week, but our minds changed after we arrived. The property is a bit dated. The rooms appeared clean. I could not sleep because you can hear the traffic outside and dogs barking through the night. The bathroom was very small and had mold in the grooves and ants. I made the staff aware. I was also told not to walk around at night because it was not safe. The staff were fine, but my family and I could not rest at ease so we checked out after only one night. I requested a refund for the nights that I didn’t stay, I’m still waiting.

I’ve stayed here several times. The room was great but the location this time was near the road and was noisy. The previous times the room wasn’t close to the road. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. Those are the most important things to me. Great price.

It was nice. A bit expensive but decent. Outdoor areas were beautiful. Inside the apartment we found broken glass and dirty window sills. It was dated but very comfortable.

Hotel is old and needs updating. Sinks were old. Safe did not work. No trash cans.

Bathroom was dirty, I was asked to park my motorcycle far away from my room even though there were plenty of spaces near my room, simply because motorcycles are “supposed to park in a different area”. If I came in my car, I would be able to park in front. Terrible policy.

The 2 bedroom with a fully functional kitchen was very spacious. However, the property is old and need some renovation. Dining and shopping are very limited and I had to drive 10 km to Multi Plaza in Escazu It is a perfect place for 1 or 2 nights and you are on a budget.

Not so good. Check in was expedient and friendly. But room was dirty, missing items (toilet paper), Gated security at hotel but area around the hotel is not very safe.

We stayed here for 5 nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities (couches chairs bed sheets etc) were outdated. The style was very good, Spanish courtyards. All in all I think it gives the bang for the buck.

disappointing after other spectacular CR hotels. No amenities in kitchen; washer and dryer were a plus (no soap). Coffee machine was fine; breakfast was cold rolls. No restaurants in the neighborhood. One small grocery store. Bus to downtown was a 3 block walk away. Pool and jacuzzi looked lovely, but very cold and limited hours. Unable to recommend.

I thought it was good, room was clean had everything we needed. Air conditioning worked well other then it was loud. Didn't bother me tho I was just there to sleep I would go back. Breakfast was very simple, coffee wrap, banana, cookie, turnover . Juice tea or coffee .
For what I was looking for it was more then enough for me . I'd go back if I was staying in San Jose. As I just slept there and was not there much at all

I liked the grounds, the staff, most things about Casa Conde were likable. Sauna, etc The staff was very friendly and always willing to help with anything. I DID NOT LIKE the lack of breakfast like they used to have. There is no excuse for that. The pandemic is OVER. Something to eat was provided, but nothing hot or cooked. From out of a package. Coffee was excellent and usually available

The pool is lovely and the coffee machine is excellent, but they no longer have the wonderful buffet breakfast they had prior to the pandemic. The bathtub and shower are in need of an update. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

I was very unhappy with this property. The pictures are not a true representation of at all. It’s very run down and dated.
My receipt from Expedia said my airport transportation was included, but when I called to set it up they arranged a taxi that I had to pay for.
I had no wi-fi for my entire stay, when I asked about it I was told it was down and being repaired. I was there 4 days, it should’ve been repaired in that time.
Hot water would run out in the shower in less than 4 minutes.
The door into my room looked like someone had tried to break in at one point, very poor effort to repair.
I will say the staff was friendly, it’s just none of the issues were addressed. I would never stay at this property again.

I like a place in town. This is in town but it needs to close down and get new owners who run hotels for a living. Coffee pot in the room has no coffee, no sugar and only 2 cups. Room has 2 towels. Ants everywhere. The tv didn't work so they changed it and the internet was broken on Friday by noon and they were going for "parts needed" on Monday. Coffee at the desk in the morning but no decaf. Could be a beautiful spot. SELL!

The rooms are not clean. Furniture in terrible condition. After the check in we left the hotel.

It's getting older and wearing out. A bit pricy for its actual condition, it should cost between 35 to 45 usd per night, based on the tear and wear of the infrastructure and furniture.

2 Bedrooms w kitchen??? Yeah Right! Not even a towel to dry dishes. Room for 4 but only 2 towels, 2 plates, 2 forks, No salt/pepper. No coffee filters. Ants everywhere. Luke warm water only in shower. Ice cold in kitchen and washer. Breakfast to order advertised but only a coffee machine and a sign that says take 2 cookies only. I asked for a receipt. They told me I had to call Expedia for a receipt. "Out of business" sign coming soon.

We stayed a week for our marriage. A very weird hotel experience. Good: room, pool and garden, price, security. Bad: no night clerk, worst communications humanly possible, no restaurant, falsely advertise in-house spa and hotel shuttle service, location.

I don’t think casa conde has recovered since Covid. Some of the staff didn’t know much about the property, the kitchen (which we were looking forward to) was closed, the gym equipment had rust and the upholstery tore up. It was a shame…
