The check-in process was simple and quick. We received sufficient information upon arrival, which left a good first impression. The Room: The room was clean, but there was a slightly strange smell that wasn’t very pleasant. The size of the room was good and well-suited for four people, which was a definite plus. In terms of comfort, the beds were hard. I slept well, but my wife found them uncomfortable, which detracted from the overall experience. The room felt old and clearly in need of renovation. The bathroom was small, and the lack of heated floors made it very cold—far from ideal for a comfortable stay. However, it was a nice touch that soap, shampoo, and towels were provided, which added some convenience. Noise was a significant issue. The room was very poorly soundproofed, and we could hear noises from the hallway, the bathroom just outside, and even other rooms. This made it difficult to relax and further detracted from the overall comfort. One positive aspect was the heater in the room, which allowed us to warm up the space a bit. Value for Money: This was a reasonably priced stay, which makes it easier to overlook some of the flaws. The inclusion of soap, shampoo, and towels was appreciated, but the noise level and lack of comfort are hard to ignore.

It was a very pleasant stay. Clean and the common areas smelled good. Price is reasonable considering the location. Considering booking again in the future.

Ideal small hotel for a night away in London. Very close to Pimlico tube station it is easy to get to. Room and the rest of the hotel is exceptionally well cared for, not the tired look which so many small hotels suffer from. The paintwork was fresh and tidy, bathroom spotlessly clean and everything we needed was there. Only one thing I should point out is there is no lift. It was clearly stated before booking but by other reviews it appears some people just aren’t aware/don’t read the details before booking. Its a small hotel, few of them have such facilities. I would recommend this hotel to anyone 👍

We've stayed in the Victoria area hotels before, so we knew the room would be small and the hallways tight. But what we didn't expect was the lack of elevator. Being several floors up, it was quite the challenge lugging the heavy luggage up to and down from the room. But overall, the room was tight but nice. Typical of London hotels, especially in this area. Front desk staff was incredibly helpful with how to get places, giving us maps, and giving suggestions of touring around London. They also watched the luggage, for a fee, on our last day.

It is London, so the room and bathroom was small. I was not aware that they didn’t have a lift and did not enjoy caring my stuff to the 3rd floor.

Very cozy, clean and quiet hotel with just the right amenities during my stay in London. The room itself was spacious and clean, and was good spot to rest after busy days around the city. The cleaners would come daily, so I would come back to a clean space each evening. The owners incredibly kind and helpful, giving me recommendations around town and transportation advice. The hotel is located in an area that is very walkable to near by shops and cafes, as well as transit. I quite enjoyed my stay at Melbourne House Hotel and would come back!
