On the surface a beautiful hotel. The room had a slightly musty smell like it hadn’t been used in a while, the WiFi wouldn’t work, and the beer was warm at the happy hour. Overall clean and kept up with only a few small signs of wear in the room. Very conveniently placed for a short walk to Amalie Arena. The staff were very nice and professional. The free breakfast was great with a huge selection.

They did not check us into our room until 4:45, could not log into internet. No answer on the telephone. I had to go to front desk to get the internet to work.

We enjoyed our stay despite the fact we were escaping from a hurricane . I forgot my IPad and the straff kept it in safe keeping until I could come back.

Room was nicely appointed. Very quiet and clean. Great walkable location. Steve A., the breakfast host, was wonderful. It is staff like Steve that keep you coming back.

There was a massive religious convention happening which led to over-crowding. I had to get all of my luggage and the luugage of my 3 kids and wife and take it up 15 floors on my own. Rooms had an interesting, old motel smell to them. Almost like they remodeled the bathrooms and left the rooms the same. It smelled like it wasn't cleaned which makes sense with the amount of overcrowding. The only highlight was the valet who was working endlessly to get cars out of the lot. If you are staying for a convention then this might be for you. If not, I would look elsewhere.

The valet parking at this hotel gets 0 points. Guests have no other option and therefore are taken advantage of. There are no options for dining except for a limited menu in hotel bar. Drink prices high….food selection poor.

Couldn’t get my room to be any cooler than 72 for the first 2 days, then it went to 71, then to 70 on the last day (despite having thermostat sent to 68). Asked at reception to have it checked and they said it was motion-based but they would have someone go. Never heard anything back.

The stay was good, the location was perfect. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was average, but the room was nice. The only complaint is that there is no self parking on premises, it is all valet which they charge $42 per 1 night stay.

My room was right on the main road. I was in town for a very important purpose and needed to sleep well. The road noise was so loud (car horns, trolley horns, boat horns, semi-trucks engines) that I couldn’t sleep. I ended up sleeping on the pull out couch in the living room for two nights. The hotel didn’t have a comb or shower cap. There was one paper cup in the entire room. No mouthwash or face soap. I was supposed to check in at 4pm and wasn’t allowed into my room until 6pm because housekeep was running behind. Overall, for $1400 for three nights I expected more. I ended up leaving a night early so I didn’t have to sleep on the pull out couch again.

Waited 30 minutes for replacement food at buffet. Shower clogged had to move rooms. The roo m noved to was stinky like a smokers room. My reservation was for not smoking room. Staff was mostly pleasant. Issues happend everywhere but management waa nowhere tto br found.

Everything about the property was very good. My only complaint was the soap dispenser in the bathroom were falling off the wall. I reported it and they sent someone to fix it, but my wife was in the shower at the time. I asked if they come back while we were out. They never came back to fix it.

Very clean,nice location, front desk lady at check in did not explain parking process which was crazy.. our room was 100 degrees the air did not work. I’m not one to do reviews but lord help I pd over $200 for 1 night plus got to the hotel and they charged me another $128 still have no clue what that was for.

The parking at the hotel was absolutely abysmmal. With 5 valets, it took over 25 minutes to get parked. The following morning - the car took 17 minutes, the brought it to the other side of the hotel (without telling anyone) and no one greeted me. They also gave me two sets of keys and walked back inside.
My room was dirty - long black hairs on the bathroom counter and work area had not been wiped down. The carpet threads were coming loose and the hotel in general looked like it had not been updated in the last 20 years.
The food in TASTE was excellent as was the service!

Front desk staff was amazing ……room was good. My only complaint was the housekeeping! Need to clean rooms or at least refresh room. Housekeepers do not speak English at all so very difficult to tell them what you need for service, very disappointing in America. The rest of the staff was excellent!

Stunning views of the bay and city. Wonderful breakfast snacks. The rooms are stylish and well-appointed. This is walking distance to the island, local restaurants and the convention center. A pure joy to stay here.
