The staff was great! The rooms could use a little tlc but they were clean! We had a suite by the pool with 2 king sized beds and a kitchenette. We loved our time in OC MD!

The Tidelands was fantastic. The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The beds were very, very comfortable. The view from the balcony was amazing. The room was very quiet and we had no issues. The desk people were super nice and friendly. We are planning to go back again to Ocean City and will definitely stay at the Tidelands. The room was absolutely amazing and the price was fantastic compared to other hotels on the boardwalk. I would definitely recommend to anyone planning a trip to Ocean City.

Comfortable bed, hot water, decent amount of space in the suite. Basic amenities, 2 mini-fridges, one of which died, but they were quick to replace. Wifi was pretty much non existent/unusable.

The room was in disrepair. It was clean but the ceiling had several leaks that were not repaired properly. The tiles in the floor were loose. The jacuzzi tube was not cleaned properly and had mold. The ice machine in the hall made so much noise my son left and went to a different hotel. There were cobwebs in the lobby lighting fixture and the elevators made a loud buzzing noises when you rode up to the floors.

The room we were given was not what was requested. Patio door did not lock, outlet in bathroom didn’t work properly and you had to jiggle the plugs to get them to work. The tub sank down in the middle. As soon as you got off the elevator the hallway always smelled like a moldy musty rotten smell. The hand rails going down the outside stairs were completely broken and when my mom grabbed onto it she almost fell until I caught her because they were not attached going down flight 2 and 1. Talked to the front desk manager about everything and she blew us off and did nothing. Could not enjoy sitting on the balcony because people beside us were smoking pot. Of course this is a non smoking facility.

I’ve been staying here for 5 years now and it’s always nice. Convenient, right on the boardwalk. Great balcony.

Great King Suite. Plenty of room, very clean. Great location.

We were pleasantly surprised how nice this location was close to the beach board walk, affordable and a nice place. Everything looked clean- some broken things in room but not a huge deal. I will say it has two nice pools but OMG Why are they so cold !? Even on a 90 degree day it’s uncomfortable. They also have ice machines that sit empty. We liked it and will be back!

It was great and the receptionist was very helpful, the two beds were comfortable and clean.

We had a good time. Great location! Just wish we didn’t have to ask for cleaning services for the room. Having sand everywhere was pretty annoying. Maybe having a broom and dustpan in all the rooms would be helpful! Other than that it was great.

The property is a bit neglected many things were damaged in the room like kitchen and refrigerator and they also have a little parking

Very nice place to stay, the suites are very spacious and the location is perfect. Just the space air system in our room wouldn't let us lock our balcony glass door, but overall a great place, the front desk lady was very nice and helpful.

I was leary to book this after reading all of the reviews. I'm glad i did. The suite was perfect for our trip. Very spacious. While the tile floor looked dirty it was not. Its just wear and tear. Room was nicely decorated and beds were comfortable. Everything was clean and worked. We had a city view suite. Parking onsite was not an issue. The location is great. The pool and restaurant were a nice bonus to have. The staff were all friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Rooms are supper dirty. The elevator takes 30mins to come down. Mold in the bathrooms.

Our room smelled like mold. The shower head wasn’t working properly so the water was coming out of the shower. Staff at checkin was not professional. You had the manager laughing over everything and speaking unprofessionally towards guests. Other than that decent property off the boardwalk.

Room was great for our family of 6 The hallways could use a little tender and care maybe some air fresheners it smelled little unpleasant.

Bed had hair in between sheets cabinets were dirty inside. Some sort of dirt or mouse droppings on plates.

Property needs update

It was good location Clean and easy to go for food and the beach. I like this place and been there more than once But last trip our both beds making so much noise. when we turn around, they woke up each other.

Only one elevator

Our rooms were ready a bit early than expected - which was great. The 2 girls working the desk were so helpful and ACCOMMODATING - they went far and beyond what they had to. I did not get their names but a big thanks to who ever was working the desk on Wednesday July 31st around 2 in the afternoon.

They initially sent us to a dirty room that was flooded and when we called to report it, we were told to wait and someone would be up. 20min later no one ever came so we went down to the lobby. They acted as if we were inconveniencing them to ask for a room that wasn’t flooded! The new room was ok. There is only 1 elevator and you share it with staff. It’s small and VERY SLOW so you spend a lot of time waiting on it.

Ocean front

When we come to Ocean City, we stay at tidelands… We like how it’s been updated with the pool and the restaurant. It’s great to have that when you come off the hot beach… It’s conveniently located. We feel very safe there with the two pools and the gym is a plus.

Room was ready early which was great. The parking lot information should be explained before arrival as it was a little confusing. The hotel was clean. Our room did have a “wet” smell to it and the bathroom wall and door frame had damage to it. The bed was comfortable and sheets were clean. All staff were pleasant. Wish the stair access was in building however it was nice that one went out to our car the other right by the beach. Over all I would stay here again.

The location is awesome, but they need to update rooms and clean a little better. One good thing is thath you have plenty of USB charging ports and the TV has conections if you bring your own fire or roku stick. The room was big, but the gym was only in the main building and a couple of the machines were damaged. You have a vending machine and ice on the hallway so that was good also. They clean the rooms on Wednesday and Saturday and we didn't know, so we were waiting for room service to come in and never showed up, and if you need a special clean up day other than Wednesday or Saturday, you have to request it the day before at the front desk and we were late for that, but they gave you towells and toilet paper on request.

There were only enough towels for two guests and we had four on our reservation. The filter systems on the pools were never running and the pools were very dirty
