The hotel is well located, the room goes for a fair price, and the staff was friendly,

There were cigarette holes in the sheets and it is super noisy

Had to cancel due to my son having COVID would not give money back and that reason I will never go to a Motel 8

Clean, nice place to stay in Albany.

The room was small, floor extremely dirty, gouged walls, broken tiles, lightbulbs missing in bathroom fixture leaving socket exposed. Broken microwave, scratching all over fridge. Two very small pillows. Chairs in room had black tape over holes. White towel turned dark brown from floor. Walks thin, heard everything in next room. No breakfast offered as advertised.

Enjoyed the stay. Not sure I was supposed to get one of the "nicer" rooms, perhaps a suite, but it looks like things were a bit confusing when I checked in. Anyway. nice spacious room. Much bigger than the motel rooms in the annex side of the building. Some cosmetic stuff like cracks in the sink and wallpaper unfurling, not remodeled like the smaller motel rooms again, in the annex side of the building. more than worth the cost of a night or two.

The dirtiest place I ever stayed at. Sink wouldn't drain. No breakfast as advertised. No coffee maker, not that I would have dared use it.

In a hard-to-find location at a very busy intersection. Two squad cars occupied the center of the small parking lot when I arrived. The bed was soft. The shower was good.

The pillows were paper, thin, and they would not give us any extra ones. Besides that, the state was very nice.

Rooms are very outdated, not very clean, dull. Would not recommend.

After driving 7 hrs enroute from Long Island, N.Y. back home to Canada, I got tired and made a res. at the nearest property for the night while driving. Upon entering the parking lot facing the front desk, I was already concerned re: the lack of cleanliness and safety. The entrance smelled from beer and alcohol being on the ground, clients were sitting on the curb drinking beer and smoking inside the parking lot. I went inside to ask if my car would be safe for the night. The young Indian or perhaps Pakistani girl at the small check-in desk had ZERO customer service skills. She took my cc and said that I had reserved a smoking room. If so, it was while I was driving and surely by accident. She was so rude and words were exchanged. I told her I want a refund as she and this motel were sub-standard. It also had outside corridors. As a 75 yr old woman traveling alone, I felt unsafe. I canceled before 6 p.m. that afternoon in person. She refused to refund my $! After calling Hotels.com three times to insist that they refund my money, the first two agents said it would depend on the motel's decision. Naturally, the rude motel girl said no which the agents conveyed to me. That was unacceptable! When I arrived back in Canada after continuing straight through, I called a Hotels.com supervisor. He graciously refunded my money immediately and apologized for my unpleasant motel experience. I would not sleep there, but from the short encounter near and in the lobby, it was nasty!

There was something smeared on the light switch so my first impression was “Gross.” The shower didn’t work properly, there were hairs on the sheets. The floor hadn’t been mopped in a while. Everything needed some bleach and a coat of paint.

There were bugs in the shower. The room smelled of smoke and I was told to turn on the air conditioner to buffer the smell. I don't believe it is wise for Wyndham to continue to support this property.

the gentleman at the reception was nice and check in was fine. the room was dirty, stains on the walls, bathroom dirty, cigarette burns on tub, shower curtain filthy

Noisy, terribly maintained, this was a grungy stop. The bed was OK, but everywhere you look things were falling apart

Very old inside and not properly sanitized. Gnats were flying in the room. I had to thoroughly bleach and clean. Towels were stained badly and the audacity to prove just one face towel. Went back for more and was told there aren’t any.

Sheets had seamen stains beb had bugs! Disgusting!!! Paint peeling in bathroom ceiling and bathtub grout was rotted. Had to sleep on top of the bed with one eye open watchingfor bugs! Got no sleep at all!! Room rent Was high for a Super 8 motel $119.00. WYNDHAM should be ashamed to put people in place! UGH!!!

It was in poor shape - stains everywhere, ceiling tiles damaged, cleanish, but hair and soap scum where soap sits, it must have had a smoker bc the 'cover' up odor was so strong I sneezed 15 times even after opening all the windows. the floor was sticky. it was fine, but it seemed too high a price for its condition. Everyone was nice etc. I hate writing a bad review bc everyone tries.

Excellent sejour

Needed a quick place to sleep. Arrived at 11:30 p.m. and the person at front desk rapidly gave me a room that was small and basic. I enjoyed the fact that there was a mini-fridge in the room.

King-size bed was very comfortable, breakfast included but not much for breakfast only put out when asked

Mostly disappointing. It took too long to check in, the room was tiny & cramped, and the breakfast is a disgrace. The price was right & the bed was OK, but I don't think I'll stay again.

I usually dont complain but this was the worse place i stayed at. Bed was not comfy, towels very dirty, sink falling apart, tub yuk, etc. Woke up and left fast.

Dirty ! The restrooms are so dirty. Also, they indicated that they are offering breakfast but they don’t. They have coffe in the lobby but that’s it. That’s not unfortunately breakfast. This experience was so horrible.
