Fabulous centrally-located hotel that served us well as a family during a rail trip across mainland Europe. Great breakfast buffet too.
Only snag was that we were given a wrong room on check in but this was immediately resolved.

I had a very good welcome and a very comfy bed and pillow. Couldnt have asked for more. The sparkling water, coffee and toiletries were all very welcome. I'd definitely love to stay again.

This hotel is wonderfully located in beautiful surroundings with plenty to do. The hotel itself is clean and spacious.

The hotel is very nice. My only issues were these: A/C barely worked if it worked at all & the access into the tub is really intended for a tall person.
My room had a view of the river and was spectacular. The bed was comfortable.
I would stay here again, but just recognize that it might be very warm in your room.

Very nice hotel. The location is excellent and the city outstanding. Would have liked a room with a view rather than the noisy bar across the street. Also, a bit strange bathroom design……very cramped. However, I gave this hotel high marks. Very good service!

THEY DID NOT RUN THE AIR CONDITIONERS! WE HAD THE WORST DAY IN OUR LIFE AT THIS HOTEL. HAD TO USE WET TOWELS TO COOL OURSELVES. MY WIFE ALMOST ENDED UP IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM!

Had a great experience at this hotel! I stopped for a break before heading to Italy and everything was amazing! Close to the train station, clean rooms, nice staff, coffee in the room was great! Great value! Thank you!

Very good hotel, beautiful location and view on the Drava river and the inner city of Villach. Excellent service, good restaurant and bar and comfy rooms. We'll be back!

Very nice hotel. Comfort and service in top. Connected rooms was an option, brilliant! Breakfast very delicious, and with the option to sit outside, to a stunning view with the river, the city, and the mountains to watch.

Right in the city center. Big design rooms pretty and nicebut the beds are not so comfortable: soft materass and a plastic bed sheet underniethe the bedding. While showering the water invaded part of the bathroom. I guess it didn't drain properly.

I've stayed here several times and there's very little to fault about this hotel. The location is central but with plenty of parking available in the underground garage. The rooms are very comfortable and well equipt. The staff polite and helpful. The room during my last stay had a great view out across the city. This is always my first choice hotel when I come to Villach. My only criticism is that the breakfast room can be quite crowded, although the staff do a good job at quickly clearing tables when poeple leave. In the summer this isn't a problem because there is additional seating outside.

Very comfortable hotel with excellent breakfast. Staff very helpful. Free motorcycle parking. HOWEVER, watch out for extra $50 charge for second person in a double room. Rates quoted are for single occupancy.

Nice location, easy to find. Seems like a fairly new hotel.Only odd thing was Parking. The details reference Self Parking with an asterisk. The actuality is that it is public lot that you pay for the parking ticket at a reduced rate at the Front Desk. SO just need to remember when coming and going to go to the Hotel Front desk.

The area is amazing and overall the Hotel was wonderful. The service at the Bar was less then desirable as the staff was very rude toward people from US. The staff at the counter was courteous and gave us directions to local sites. We traveled with kids and it was wonderful town.

Great central, clean, modern hotel. The breakfast is slightly pricier though, along with the bar food. There are no extras that come with the room for toiletries other than the basic shampoo/body wash combo.

A beautiful place right on the river Drau with a lovely bar, first class restaurant and all the amenities you could ask for. Underground parking at a reasonable rate is accessible from the hotel elevators. The rooms are large enough and well appointed and the baths are fine.

Staff are friendly and helpful and evening meals are good . Nice terrace overlooking river for warmer days. Whilst they may lack "olde world charm", rooms are functional, well equipped to a high standard and comfortable. There's also a good bar and lounge area. Breakfast is extortionate but with plenty of cafés within a 5min walk, this was not an issue.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Villach hotel over the Villacher Kirchtag festival. The staff were very busy, but check-in was fast and parking was stress free. The room was clean and very modern. Our room had an amazing view! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to spend a bit more to get all the amenities.

The breakfast was one of the best I've had. The staff and management are really nice. The room is well laid out and the view also ng the river is all I could wish for.

It is a great hotel with very modern interior, in a good location. Toilet, sinks and showers have a very room saving arrangement that is tricky to use for two people. Ideal hotel for single room use.
